Purpose of the Role

This volunteer role is a key part of the HFEH Mind team delivering a range of services across Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow. We support clients with mental health with both clinical and non-clinical interventions. The volunteer will work with the Advocates, assisting the Inpatient Advocacy service, on the wards of The Limes and St Bernards Hospital. Our volunteer will the opportunity to support the Advocacy team with various tasks, including administration, (once trained), with the possibility of being trained as peer advocate.

Main Responsibilities

To work closely with the Advocacy team and Adult Services, Day Service Manager, attend ward rounds at The Limes and St Bernards Hospital and support the service in general. There will also be a further opportunity to train as a volunteer Peer Advocate in the future.

Tasks

All relevant training will be provided

· Attend Ward Rounds 3x per week with the Advocacy staff

· Support/work with the Advocacy staff on the Ward Round

· Provide information on the Advocacy Services

• Triage clients for the service through an onboarding process

· Register potential Clients, wanting to access Advocacy services

· Complete Advocacy Action Plans (training will be provided)

· Support with follow up surveys for those who have accessed the project and obtained their feedback to improve our services

· Support the Advocacy team to promote the service within the local community

· A willingness to undertake training courses

RollaDome All Skate is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Events Logistics Officer (Volunteer) to assist in sourcing venues for our skating clubs, classes, and events. This volunteer position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in event logistics, venue management, and the expansion of community-driven programs. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful organization of events that contribute to RollaDome’s mission to bring skating to local communities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Venue Sourcing: Research and identify venues across the UK that can be used for RollaDome’s skating clubs, classes, and events. Ensure that venues are accessible, affordable, and meet the needs of our participants. 

• Permanent Home Search: Assist in sourcing and evaluating potential permanent locations for RollaDome, ensuring they align with the long-term goals of the organization. 

• Vendor and Venue Relations: Build and maintain relationships with venue managers, landlords, and relevant stakeholders. Negotiate favourable terms for venue rentals and partnerships. 

• Venue Suitability Assessment: Evaluate potential venues for their suitability in terms of size, location, cost, accessibility, and other factors critical to the success of RollaDome’s programs. 

• Logistical Planning: Coordinate the logistical needs for clubs and classes, including setting up and maintaining schedules, organizing transportation, and ensuring that all equipment and materials are available at each venue. 

• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all venues meet health and safety regulations and are compliant with the necessary legal and operational requirements. 

• Venue Database Management: Create and manage a database of potential venues and contacts for current and future use. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with the program managers, event planners, and other team members to ensure that venues meet program needs and contribute to the success of events.

OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation was established as an educational charity in 2003. Purpose of the Role

This volunteer role is a key part of the HFEH Mind team for a Service offering Non-Birthing Partners and/or Parents, of new mothers accessing specialist Perinatal Mental Health services and Maternal Mental Health Services. The Clients are offered an evidence-based 1:1 assessment for their mental health needs and goals, offered support and then signposted and referred to further support, (including a PSFP peer support group), as and when required.

Main Responsibilities

To work closely with the team and Adult Services, Service Manager, in supporting our Service with a variety of tasks such as supporting referral enquires, conducting the triage and onboarding of new Clients onto the service, co-facilitating monthly peer support groups, signposting/referrals to other organisations, taking care of our inbox emails and other administrative duties. There may also be further opportunities to train as a volunteer for other Services, in the future.

We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Project Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of our clubs, projects, and events. This volunteer role is ideal for someone looking to contribute to a dynamic charity while gaining experience in project management and community development. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the coordination of RollaDome’s clubs, projects, and events. 

• Act as the first point of contact for participants, members, and stakeholders. 

• Assist in the administration of booking systems and event registrations. 

• Maintain effective communication with team members and external partners. 

• Oversee stock inventories to ensure clubs and events are well-resourced. 

• Monitor and evaluate projects to capture impact data. 

• Collaborate with volunteers and staff to ensure successful delivery. 

• Uphold health and safety standards across all activities. 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Strong organisational and time management skills. 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Experience in community development or project coordination is an advantage. 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

• Attention to detail and adherence to protocols.

About Croydon Almshouses: 

Croydon Almshouses is the oldest charity in Croydon, and we are proud of our heritage. For over 550 years we have been supporting people who experience the impact of poverty.  Since 1447 we have offered almshouses, and for the last 40 years have also awarded grants to Croydon’s voluntary sector and individuals.

Position Overview
This is an exciting and unique internship opportunity supporting SEED Madagascar’s media and communications output. This position will focus on social media management support, visual content design, and image selection and arrangement. It is ideal for a motivated individual interested in learning new skills and gaining practical experience within the communications team of an international development and conservation organisation.

About the organisation
SEED Madagascar is a British Charity working in partnership with communities in the southeast of Madagascar. We integrate high quality community health, livelihoods, education infrastructure and conservation programmes to support sustainable change and add to international best practice through research and publication across all of our programmatic areas.
Location: Remote
Timeframe: 6 months extendable – flexible 2 days a week
Contract: Voluntary, unsalaried
Reporting to: Media and Communications Officer

Duties and responsibilities 
1. Responsible for planning and drafting platform-specific content for SEED’s social media accounts and support with the implementation of a new TikTok strategy, following a clear briefing from the Media and Communications Coordinator and Officer. 
2. Using video editing software CapCut to produce video content for use on SEED’s TikTok and Instagram accounts. 
3. Using Canva to produce exciting visual content for use across SEED’s social media accounts, ensuring that all brand guidelines are adhered to. 
4. Monitoring and reporting on performance KPIs for SEED’s online output. 
5. Support the management and arrangement of SEED Madagascar’s image drive, suggesting images that are appropriate for use in our online output from a bank of photographs.
6. Gain a detailed understanding of all of SEED’s programmes.
7. Any other tasks the Media and Communications Officer deems necessary within the broad remit
of this role.

Qualifications
● Hold or be studying towards an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in or relating to media
and communications, international development, or have comparable field experience.
● Have experience managing social media accounts.
● Have experience writing high-level copy, appropriate for varying audiences.
● Proven high standard of written and verbal communication and editing skills.
● Proven experience in following clear instructions and staying in keeping with brand guidelines
and expectations, sometimes in sensitive circumstances.
● Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to SEED’s ethos and approach and be a good
ambassador for the organisation at all times.
● Be punctual and be able to work to tight deadlines in an organised manner and to a high
standard.
● Ability to work well under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
● Proactive, creative and resourceful.
● Experience of both collaborative team and independent working.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
● Proficiency in the use of the visual design platform Canva.
● Proficiency in the use of video design platforms such as CapCut.
● Be able to financially support themselves for the duration of their internship as there is no
stipend.
