Senior Communications Officer, Sustaining Impact - Up to £39,000 - London

A not for profit organisation, this highly motivated team is defined by its' unique supporting role within local communities; funding and supporting through research, policy, events and public engagement are part of the remit for the next 5 years, with the aim of driving change.


This new role of Senior Communications Manager will join the team as one of 3 and with the wider team to deliver the organisation's communications strategy.

The key remit will be to develop brilliant content to engage the local communities audiences to increase support for the organisation overall. As online editor, the Senior Communications Officer will have key responsibility for ensuring the website performs superbly, continuing to develop to meet the audience needs. The role will also manage the Digital Engagement Officer. Experience with managing websites, content development, delivery as well as user journeys, UX, analytics etc is key.


To apply for the role of Senior Communications Officer you will need to demonstrate you have:
- website development expertise meeting user needs
- excellent writing and editing skills as well as great analytics and reporting skills
- excellent communication skills working well across teams and external stakeholders
- experience of developing and managing websites, user journeys, UX, content strategies
- Email and CRM knowledge, including segmentation
- Line management experience and organising events
- Budget management
- able to work at pace and deliver
