Responsibilities of our Stories Officer:
- Establish the role of storytelling at Cats Protection, looking for opportunities as well as risk
- Develop and deliver a multi-channel storytelling strategy
- Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to develop new ways of working
- Manage a database of stories and track their usage across Cats Protection
- Write and communicate compelling case studies based upon the stories sourced
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of stories used across campaigns and channels
- Provide support and stewardship for those who share their stories with us
- Support the Media Office with reactive and proactive journalism requests
About the Media team:
Although very much a pan-organisation role, the Stories Officer will work closely with Cats Protection’s Media team. The team plays a critical role in safeguarding and enhancing the charity’s reputation. The team delivers proactive media campaigns, manages high-profile reactive queries, and supports branches and centres with expert communications advice. Working closely with all departments, the team ensures our work and impact are visible on a national stage while upholding best practice in ethical and trauma-informed storytelling.
What we’re looking for in our Stories Officer:
- From a professional communication, journalism or creative writing background
- Experience developing and implementing an organisations storytelling strategy
- Experience building relationships with storytellers

- Administration & Systems Management

As our social media manager, you will be responsible for our social media channel strategies and footprint across the UK. You will provide expert advice to colleagues and senior leaders across the Fund, advising on outputs, trends and insights.

Phases Social Enterprise is developing a project to inspire more people in Brighton & Hove to make sustainable choices. The initial stage of the project has been the development of an App which straddles the worlds of consumerism, citizenship and activism.

Cross-Channel Marketing Officer
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Communications team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.
Position: CE393 Cross-Channel Marketing Officer
Location: Homebased, UK. However occasional travel will be required as part of this role, this may include team meetings or other work-related meetings
Hours: 35 hours per week

The Role
Reporting to the Cross-Channel Marketing Manager, the Cross-Channel Marketing Officer will design and deliver digital communication strategies across email and SMS, helping to maximise supporter engagement, retention, loyalty and income. This role will play a vital part in building seamless supporter and customer journeys that strengthen relationships, enhance experiences, and deliver measurable results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan, implement, and deliver targeted email and SMS campaigns and automated journeys to maximise income, steward events, provide beneficiary support, inspire actions, and increase retention.
- Creating, editing and optimising digital communications.
- Supporting colleagues by providing training, sharing best practice, and offering expert advice.
- Ensuring digital communications are aligned across all online and offline touchpoints.
- Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous optimisation.
- Staying up to date with digital marketing practices, sector trends and competitor activity, using insights to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Working closely with the Cross-Channel Marketing Manager and key stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and impactful content creation.

About You
You will have experience of:
- Testing, optimisation, and automation to improve communications effectiveness.
- Using AI tools to enhance customer engagement, such as content generation, predictive analytics, or automation.
- Using an email platform. Desirable experience using Dot Digital.
- Using analytics tools and analysing data to inform decision-making.
- Evaluating the successes and providing recommendations of email, SMS and paid digital campaigns using Google Analytics and social media monitoring tools.

- This is a dynamic role at the intersection of grassroots partnerships, evidence-building and organisational learning. You will play a key part in deepening our work with rights-holder-led and women-led partners, while helping design and coordinate Population Matters’ global grassroots network of partners, ambassadors and collaborators.
- You will help build and nurture relationships across our key regions, supporting the development of a connected, values-driven grassroots network that strengthens shared learning, collective advocacy and systems change.
- Working closely with partners, you will strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems, ensuring projects are ethical, evidence-based and grounded in lived realities. We are looking for a dynamic Events Fundraising Officer to help recruit and support our fundraisers, assist with the organisation of events and help us to develop this significant income stream.
Working alongside the Challenge Events Manager, the Events Fundraising Officer is instrumental in every step of delivering well-managed, fun and safe events for our corporate partners and event participants, as well as ensuring the fundraising success of each event.
Excellent communication and people skills will be essential as you will play a key role in building up relationships with the clients, the participants and their supporters. The Role
