Digital Change Manager

Role purpose 

Adoption UK is undertaking a major digital transformation, initially focused on CRM and Website developments. Our Digital Transformation Team will drive this change programme, working with colleagues and external digital partners; and subsequently deliver our on-going digital strategy implementation and development. 

You will support the Digital Transformation Lead to refine and implement Adoption UK’s digital strategy, to deliver our digital transformation project. Working with internal and external stakeholders the team will ensure that the project’s vision and scope meet the business and operational needs of the charity. An important part of your role will be to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and particularly with our Marketing and Communications team to integrate digital into all current and upcoming projects. 

We’re looking for someone who has experience of project working in a digital environment, particularly within website and CRM implementation. 

Background – our digital transformation 

Like many charities, we’ve historically developed our digital framework and footprint organically, with insufficient web and CRM integration and functionality, duplication and data silos; resulting in data management and website functionality that don’t meet all our users’ needs. We’re changing all that by: 

1. Investing in our customer-facing website and data management systems; connecting all our divisions and services, delivering integrated systems that provide a positive customer and stakeholder journey.
2. Developing the next generation of digitally accessible services 
3. Extending our in-house digital capability to support continuous delivery. 

Key accountabilities: 

• Support the Digital Transformation Lead to implement the charity’s digital strategy.

• Coordinate data and content activities, including migration between platforms, to deliver our website and CRM digital transformation programme.

• Utilise and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation and with current and future digital partners. Use these networks to: 

• embed digital first principles and best practice. 

• Train, coach and mentor colleagues to be effective users of our CRM and website. 

• Progress opportunities to increase our digital capability and integrate digital into our current and upcoming work. 

• Utilise the digital performance assessment framework to monitor compliance with digital and data best practice standards. 

• Assist in maintaining our data security standards compliance, participating in quality assurance activities. 

• Work collaboratively with our external digital and IT partners. 

Essential Criteria 

• Significant experience of website and CRM implementation and data/content management. 

• Good general knowledge and experience of organisational IT systems, including cloud and M365 applications. 

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Able to convey complex or technical information simply and clearly. 

• Experience of IT/Digital supplier engagement. Able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Experience of working in a digital project/change environment. 

• Ability to work under pressure and to respond quickly to changing circumstances and to tight timetables 

Desirable criteria 

• Experience of working in an organisation which uses agile development methodologies. 

• A strong understanding of the National Cyber Security Centre principles and approach and General Data Protection regulations principles, audit and compliance.

About the role

As our communications Manager, you will manage the delivery of communications strategies for corporate partnerships working closely with WaterAid’s Communications and Fundraising directorate and key partners to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the delivery of WaterAid’s corporate partnership marketing communications strategy to maximise influence and income-raising potential from the private sector.
• Lead a cross-functional delivery group and collaborate across WaterAid’s Communications and Fundraising directorate to deliver integrated corporate advocacy and partner communications activities, primarily targeting a private sector audience.
• Act as the primary communications contact for partnership managers, advising on communications opportunities, strategic messaging, content and tactics that deliver value for WaterAid and partners.
• Champion in-sight led and on-brand messaging and creative which resonates with target audiences.
• Advise on best use of project budget to meet objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of communications activity, fostering a proactive and positive approach to learning and improvement within delivery teams.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Demonstrable experience in developing, leading and executing high impact communications strategies for corporate partnerships, ideally for a non-profit organisation.
• Expertise in business-to-business or corporate advocacy communications, and an understanding of trends in corporate sustainability and social responsibility.
• Experience working in, or in partnership with, the private sector, advising on communications approaches to engage a range of audiences and delivering communications plans with shared objectives.
• Highly collaborative and able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent time management skills, able to drive projects forward while navigating competing priorities.
• Ability to generate and develop creative and innovative ideas, with a good eye for brand, design, film and photography.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Experience of international development issues and/or working in the voluntary sector in a communications role.
• An understanding of the ethical issues surrounding communications for international development.

The Opportunity 

The Finance and Operations Manager will provide financial expertise and support the Head of Finance & Operations (HFO) to deliver high quality financial management in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.

The role will also support the HFO in the organisation's operations functions, ensuring that legal and operational governance is delivered on time and to a high standard, that SMF is is compliant in Health & Safety (H&S), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), insurance and other operational matters. The role holder will provide support leadership on the organisation's IT function and deliver training to all teams in matters concerning finance and operations. 

Location: We operate a hybrid model of work i.e. a combination of in-person and remote, with flexible days in the office depending on business need and your preferences. We would typically expect in-office attendance an average of one day per week.

When in the office you will be based in one of our regional offices (either Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester or Newcastle – depending on preference and accessibility). This is where you will usually attend in-person events, training sessions etc. though some travel, to other offices and other locations, will occasionally be expected.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: We are looking for the right candidate and while we envisage this being a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) we are open to flexible working arrangements such as part-time, compressed hours, flexitime and job-shares. 

Occasional/frequent evening or weekend work may be required, for which time off in lieu (TOIL) will be given. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Finance:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial management and cash flow of the Social Mobility Foundation (SMF) working closely with the HFO, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Operations team. 
• Ensure that our accounting software is consistently up to date with the correct information.
• Work with the HFO on management information to enable the SMT and trustees to monitor progress and performance, make effective decisions and plan for the future.
• Financial information to support income development including budgets, income tracking and analysis and funder reports.
• Support the development of the annual organisational budget with the HFO, in liaison with the CEO and management team and provide support in developing departmental / project budgets as relevant.
• Manage how the organisation applies and reports on VAT. 
• Alongside our appointed accountants prepare Year End accounts, end of project accounts, and work with the appointed accountants to ensure the Accounts are completed, approved, and filed on time.
• Manage and improve our financial systems and procedures, streamlining internal processes to ensure they are effective and safeguard the finances of the organisation.
• Devise and implement effective and efficient procedures, including the introduction of a purchase order system and a new ethical procurement policy.
• Maintain the payroll function of the organisation and be the lead point of contact with our external payroll provider. 
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

2. Operations:

• Support the Data Protection Officer (the HFO) for the organisation, in liaising with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) appropriately, ensure that all staff and volunteers are aware of and trained in the relevant Data Protection policy and procedures, and ensure that the organisation meets its Data Protection requirements.
• Support the HFO in overseeing operational matters such as insurance, H&S, buildings maintenance and asset register; work closely with the management team to ensure awareness, compliance, and procedures that are effective and efficient for staff and volunteers. Where appropriate, escalate concerns and issues to HFO.

3. Strategic Responsibilities:

• Work closely with management and trustees to provide and develop financial and operational expertise; contribute appropriately to the development and management of organisational strategies, service proposals and development of the organisation.
• Lead on the appropriate understanding and training at each level of the organisation on how operational and financial systems work and support their role.
• Ensure that financial and operational policies and procedures meet the highest standards, reflect the charity’s ethos effectively and support the organisation’s strategic development; champion inclusivity (including Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)) and sustainability (in the widest sense).

4. Line Management

• Day-to-day people management
• Outline outcomes to be achieved, considering individual skills, capabilities, and workload to ensure a balanced distribution of work
• Review work outputs, monitor and quality assure work

Jangala is seeking an ambitious and strategic Fundraising Manager to sustain and grow our income from trusts, foundations and corporate partners. This is a hands-on role for an experienced fundraiser who enjoys translating complex work into compelling funding propositions and building strong relationships with supporters. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will lead on our trusts and foundations pipeline, manage key corporate partners, write high-quality funding applications and support the development of our stewardship and wider fundraising strategies.

Trusts & Foundations

• Leading a pipeline of UK and global trusts and foundations and other grantmakers, including researching and cultivating new opportunities, developing proposals, coordinating internal inputs and submitting high-quality bids

Strategic Implementation (Online & Offline)

• Key operational lead, deputising for the Head of Individual Giving and Legacies, taking responsibility for the planning and delivery of campaigns and activity across channels and supporter journeys.

Skills and Competencies

Our ideal candidate would have the following:

• Fundraising Expertise: Proven experience in an Individual Giving role(s) with a track record of managing both digital acquisition and offline appeals (direct mail/telemarketing) for a charity or social cause, as well as significant experience in retention, marketing communications, supporter services.

• Agency Management: Experience managing creative, fundraising and digital marketing agencies, to deliver a variety of campaigns or activities across multiple channels.

• Digital Proficiency: Demonstrable expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta Business Suite, Google paid advertising, and email marketing platforms like Mailchimp.

• Strategic Thinking: Evidence of leading successful integrated campaigns resulting in significant income or lead generation.

• Audience development: Led development of successful new propositions for cross-selling across existing audiences.

• Creative Skills: The ability to motivate and inspire audiences through content and creative writing and storytelling for various channels.

The Listening Place (TLP) is an award-winning charity providing face-to-face, compassionate and non-judgemental support for people who feel that life is no longer worth living.  Since opening our first site in Pimlico in 2016, we have grown to four sites and our service is delivered by over 850 active volunteers. 
 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dedicated team and play a vital role in helping TLP to grow and support more people struggling with suicidal feelings. You will manage two key growth areas in fundraising: community and corporate. By crafting exciting partnership proposals and delivering high-quality events, you will help TLP build on its fundraising success in these areas.  You will use your relationship management skills to keep donors not just satisfied but motivated to support TLP.

Scope and purpose

The Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager will be the second most senior position in the fundraising team and will lead on the development of TLP’s community and corporate fundraising streams. Duties and responsibilities

1. Deliver the continued growth of corporate and community fundraising at TLP (combined £475k target in 2026/27) in line with investment in this area to help ease the pressure on major donor and trust fundraising.
2. Generate new corporate and community fundraising leads by mapping TLP’s volunteer and supporter networks as well as exploring cold leads which align with TLP’s mission and vision.
3. Develop engaging, inspiring materials to help secure new corporate leads including presentations, brochures and video.
4. Represent TLP externally at corporate and community events, networking opportunities, and sector forums to raise awareness and build strategic partnerships. 
5. Deliver and oversee excellent stewardship with all corporate and community supporters, establishing effective, long-lasting relationships with supporters and stakeholders including a creative approach to thanking supporters.
6. Develop materials and build a personal brand which inspires volunteers to participate in TLP events or to run their own fundraisers.   
7. Manage an exciting and engaging roster of annual events for volunteers and corporate fundraisers to participate in, including creating new events based on supporter data, as well as looking for ways to improve existing events and phasing out events where necessary.
8. Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, using data and supporter feedback to refine strategies, improve engagement, and encourage growth. 
9. Work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to forecast income in community and corporate fundraising as well as setting budgets that enable us to deliver on ambitious targets whilst still delivering a competitive return on investment. 
10. Establish effective relationships across the staff and volunteer network which creates a culture that supports fundraising within TLP whilst also enabling volunteers to focus on TLP’s core mission and vision.
11. Build a dependable, detail-oriented team to support the administrative management of corporate, community and individual giving at The Listening Place whilst encouraging their development as TLP fundraisers in their own right.

We are looking for a hardworking, passionate Fundraising Officer to join our team, delivering a range of fundraising initiatives. Join a dynamic and forward‑thinking team as we grow our fundraising capacity and explore new income opportunities, helping to secure vital funds for our life‑saving services.

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, this role will be vital in achieving our fundraising strategy and income targets. Now is a really exciting time for Solace as we embark on a fresh organisational strategy backed by a new and ambitious fundraising strategy. You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative and high‑achieving team, with opportunities to get involved across all fundraising activities, including helping to grow Solace’s high‑value fundraising from corporates, trusts and foundations, and major donors.

You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills, knowledge and confidence across key fundraising streams, including special events, digital fundraising, trusts and foundations, community and challenge events, and corporate partnerships.This will be a varied role in a fast-paced environment, suited to someone looking to take the next step in their fundraising career.

You’ll contribute to the wider objectives of the Business Development Team, particularly within Fundraising, by helping to build strong relationships and partnerships, raise the organisation’s profile and income, and work collaboratively with colleagues.

About You

• Proven experience in delivering community fundraising.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences in a range of formats.
• Knowledge of developing social media content and developing branded publicity materials.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in IT, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and CRM databases. Experience with Salesforce and creative design tools such Canva is desirable.
• A strong understanding of, and commitment to, equity, diversity, and inclusion - particularly within the context of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector.
• Committed to continuous learning, professional development, and self-improvement.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, using initiative and sound judgment.

Our Senior Trusts & Foundations Manager is primarily responsible for managing and generating income from our Trusts & Foundations portfolio (including Corporate Foundations). They identify new prospects, write compelling and persuasive proposals to secure significant gifts, actively develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and provide brilliant stewardship.

We are looking for someone who has a sound understanding of T&F fundraising. You’ll have a strong track record of nurturing relationships, securing multi-year and five-figure+ gifts, and a genuine passion for youth development. You are a creative problem solver with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects – ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.

The Role 

We're seeking a dynamic, hands-on Event Manager to take the reins of our venue hire programme. This is not just a desk job, it's a role where no two days are the same, where you'll be the friendly face welcoming clients, the problem-solver ensuring flawless delivery, and the strategic thinker helping our spaces reach their full potential. 

You'll be the go-to person for everyone who books with us, from first enquiry through to flawless delivery, making sure every event reflects our values and leaves clients delighted. 

What You'll Be Doing 

• Client Relations: Be the welcoming first point of contact, guiding clients from initial enquiry through to event day 

• Venue Showcasing: Show prospective hirers around our spaces and help them envision their event 

• Event Coordination: Manage all the moving parts (logistics, suppliers, internal teams) to ensure seamless delivery 

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train and manage a flexible pool of casual event staff 

• On-the-Ground Management: Act as on-site duty manager during events. 

• Community Building: Foster strong relationships with local residents, partners and clients 

• Systems & Records: Keep booking records using CRM and booking systems 

• Marketing Support: Help promote our venues and attract brilliant bookings 

• Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to make our operations even better

Desirable: 

• Proven track record in event management, venue hire, hospitality or similar 

• Marketing experience, especially promoting venues or events
