Job description

Leading sustainable farming organisation, LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) has an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising Officer based at Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

Working under the direction of the Director, Business Development and in line with LEAF’s strategy, this is a key operational role which will have day-to-day responsibility for raising funds by researching and applying to appropriate grant-making Trusts, Foundations and Statutory bodies and for growing new corporate and individual donors.

The post holder will work with relevant stakeholders to develop ideas and projects which are then progressed into funding campaigns and applications. They will also identify and build partnerships with other agencies to maximise LEAF’s access to other funding sources and will build and manage relationships with funders to increase income generation.

You will have experience of fundraising and donor engagement across several different funding streams, a proven record of successful funding applications, an understanding of the charitable trust sector and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
