Job Title: CRM Operations Analyst

Team: Digital Transformation & Technology (Supporter Engagement & Experience)

Location: Hybrid (split between home-working and either London, Cardiff or Edinburgh)

*This role sits within a pay grade with a pay range of £33,367 to £50,051. The salary on appointment will be set at the lower end of the pay range, to a maximum of £36,704 depending on the candidate's skills and experience. This approach aims to ensure fair compensation for new hires while maintaining alignment with the structured pay scale for the role.

Context and purpose of role

At the Ramblers, our ability to connect with supporters, manage members, and empower volunteers depends on the smooth running of our CRM (Salesforce). The CRM Operations Analyst plays a vital role in making this possible.

By managing day-to-day CRM operations, handling imports, selections, and user support, you ensure that colleagues across the organisation can trust the data they use and work efficiently. Your contribution means communications are targeted and accurate, volunteer and supporter records are reliable, and teams can focus on their mission rather than system issues.

Your work ensures that colleagues can rely on accurate data and smooth processes, so supporters receive timely communications, members feel well served, and volunteers have the information they need to play their part.

Key Responsibilities

User Support & Administration

• Provide first-line technical support for Salesforce, resolving user issues related to access, new fields, layouts, and general functionality, escalating complex configuration or system-wide issues to the Senior Database Administrator where required.

• Provide second-line support for record-level data issues (e.g. duplicates, permissions, missing fields, or data discrepancies), escalating where necessary for complex data or automation errors.

• Provide guidance to staff on how best to use Salesforce for their day-to-day needs.

• Maintain and update user accounts, roles, and permissions.

• Deliver basic in-house training sessions and user guides to support adoption.

• Day-to-day responsibility for co-ordinating routine GDPR-related deletion requests.

Data Management & Imports

• Manage regular data imports

• Run reconciliations with Finance to ensure CRM records align with income systems.

• Support data quality initiatives, including deduplication and validation.

• Maintain GDPR consents, preferences, and data hygiene standards.

Reporting & Dashboards

• Build and update simple CRM reports and dashboards.

• Help staff use reports effectively, and create custom reports where needed

• Collaborate with the Analyst Engineer and Data Analyst to ensure consistency between CRM and business insights dashboards.

Configuration & Changes

• Make declarative (no-code) changes to Salesforce (e.g. page layouts, fields, validation rules, workflows).

• Support the Senior Salesforce DBA in testing and deploying small changes.

• Help enforce configuration standards and document processes.

Integrations & Pipelines (Support Role)

• Monitor automated data flows between Salesforce and other systems (e.g. Azure Data Factory pipelines, Mailchimp).

• Escalate complex pipeline or automation issues to the Senior Database Administrator or Analytics Engineer.

• Support basic configuration tasks to ensure reliable system-to-system connections.

The person

Skills & Experience

Essential

· Hands-on experience using Salesforce (ideally beyond “super-user” level, but full Admin certification not required).

· Familiarity with data imports and reconciliation processes.

· Ability to write and run SOQL or SQL queries at a basic level.

· Experience building reports and dashboards in Salesforce.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling supporter data.

· Good communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical colleagues.

· Understanding of GDPR and the importance of data protection.

Desirable

· Salesforce Administrator certification (or willingness to work towards it).

· Experience in a not-for-profit, membership, or fundraising environment.

· Familiarity with Gift Aid, Direct Debits, or other fundraising processes.

· Exposure to Azure Data Factory or other data pipeline tools.

· Experience supporting email/marketing integrations (e.g. Mailchimp, Marketing Cloud).

We’re looking for a collaborative and motivated individual to join our Digital, Technology & Data Services team as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Business Analyst.

The Role

Initially reporting to the Associate Director for Knowledge and Insight, the Business Analyst will support the development and ongoing improvement of the organisation’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform. The role will analyse and translate business needs into clear, well-structured technical requirements, helping to deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM improvements that enhance customer services, strengthen engagement and improve operational efficiency.

The role acts as a key bridge between operational teams and technical delivery colleagues, ensuring changes are driven by genuine organisational needs, aligned with strategic priorities, and designed to deliver sustainable long term value.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Working with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business processes, user needs and priorities

· Analysing, documenting and translating business requirements into clear functional specifications for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM development

· Collaborating closely with Digital, Technology & Data Services colleagues to support the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM enhancements

About You

You will:

· Have experience or a proven track record of working as a Business Analyst on CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.

· Have experience translating operational needs into effective technical solutions

· Be organised, analytical and focused on delivering long term value for the organisation

Job Description

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a skilled, relationship driven and commercially minded Senior Account Manager to support the growth of our groundbreaking data initiative, Prostate Progress. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the point where healthcare innovation, research, data, and commercial partnerships meet. Playing a pivotal part in ensuring that industry partners receive exceptional service, clear communication, and the highest standards of delivery.

As the day-to-day lead for commissioned studies, you will own and develop a portfolio of relationships across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, MedTech and research organisations. Ensuring seamless coordination between clients and PCR’s internal delivery teams and driving renewed commissions and expanded account value.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in account management, an ability to translate complex requirements into clear deliverables, and a passion for working in a purpose driven environment where partnerships drive real world impact for people with prostate cancer.

As part of representing PCR within the life sciences ecosystem, the role will involve both UK and international travel. Including attendance at client meetings, conferences, partner briefings, and key industry events.

Key Responsibilities

Client and partnership management

•  Serve as the primary point of contact for PCR’s partners commissioning data-related activities, coordinating structured communication through kick‑off meetings, milestone reviews, and issue‑resolution processes.
• Build and grow strong, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring clarity of expectations, accurate project tracking, and timely delivery of all commitments.
•  Develop tailored account plans to strengthen engagement, act as a trusted advisor to partners, drive renewals and repeat business, and drive year‑on‑year revenue growth.

Pipeline development and new business support

• Work with the Head of Business Development and Director of Partnerships to contribute to commercial discussions and maintain an organised, strategic pipeline of commercial opportunities across life sciences and research sectors.
• Lead the development of expansion opportunities within existing accounts, helping shape compelling, commercially viable proposals.
• Develop study scopes, timelines, budgets and value propositions that reflect both industry needs and PCR’s capabilities.

Internal Coordination & Project Delivery

• Collaborate closely with PCR’s Head of Project Delivery, Senior Data Analyst, Translational Research Director, and Finance to ensure internal readiness and alignment on all contracts.
• Translate client requirements into clear internal plans.
• Facilitate clear handovers, milestone planning, and resource assessments that support timely delivery and mitigate operational risks.
• Maintain oversight of project progress across active accounts.
• Proactively surface project risks, blockers, or capacity issues, ensuring rapid escalation and problem‑solving.

Commercial Oversight & Reporting

• Shape pricing strategy and commercial recommendations, including value‑based pricing and cost‑benefit narrative development.
• Track financial performance of contracts, supporting accurate forecasting and revenue monitoring with Finance.

• Identify growth opportunities and commercial risks
• Produce high‑quality pipeline updates, performance summaries, and insight reports for senior leadership.

Sector Engagement

• Represent PCR and Prostate Progress at industry events, conferences, and networking forums, helping build visibility and cultivate new leads. Includes international travel.
• Gather client and market insights to inform service development, modelling formats, and partnership offerings, develop a strong understanding of the external markets.
• Act as an ambassador for PCR’s mission and the value of Prostate Progress.

Skills and Competencies

Our ideal candidate would have the following:

Experience

• Significant experience in account management, partnerships or client leadership roles.
• Experience working with and/or within pharmaceutical, NHS, biotechnology, MedTech, clinical research organisations, or related scientific/healthcare environments (desirable).
• Demonstrated success managing complex B2B accounts and delivering high‑quality partnership experiences.
• Experience shaping proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and contributing to pricing or cost‑benefit analysis.

What the job involves

As Product and Delivery Manager, you'll play a key role in helping us deliver technology that supports Prostate Cancer UK’s mission. You'll be responsible for shaping the direction of our internal products and systems, making sure they continue to meet the needs of colleagues across the organisation and provide long-term value. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll help identify priorities, assess opportunities for improvement, and ensure technology investment supports our strategic goals.

You'll lead the planning and delivery of technology projects and enhancements, turning business needs into clear, achievable plans. From managing product roadmaps and delivery schedules to coordinating resources and tracking progress, you'll ensure work is delivered effectively and to a high standard. You'll oversee the full delivery lifecycle, helping teams navigate challenges and keeping stakeholders informed along the way. You’ll also be acting as line manager to a team of three direct reports.

Working across a range of products, systems and data services, you'll bring together colleagues, technical specialists and external partners to achieve shared outcomes. Acting as a bridge between business and technology teams, you'll build strong relationships, encourage collaboration, and help create a clear understanding of priorities, risks and opportunities.

You'll also help drive continuous improvement across our technology services and ways of working. This includes identifying opportunities to modernise systems, improve processes, and make better use of data, automation and emerging technologies such as AI. Through your work, you'll help ensure our technology remains effective, sustainable and ready to support the organisation's future ambitions.

What we want from you

We're looking for someone with experience of managing digital products, technology delivery, or related projects, who can confidently balance day-to-day delivery with longer-term planning. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple priorities and helping teams deliver valuable outcomes. Experience working with CRM platforms, particularly within the charity sector, would be an advantage.

You'll have a strong understanding of how technology products and services are developed and delivered, including experience of Agile ways of working and the software development lifecycle. You'll be able to work effectively with technical specialists, understanding the opportunities and constraints involved in developing, integrating and supporting systems, while helping non-technical colleagues make informed judgements.

Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills are essential. You'll be able to bring together different perspectives, translating complex information into clear and accessible language, and helping teams navigate challenges where there may not be an obvious solution. Experience leading or coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, including external suppliers and partners, will help you succeed in this role.

How and where we work

Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. Due to the nature of this role, we would expect the postholder to be in the office three times per week.

Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

Location and Working Hours

This is a home-based role with flexible remote working arrangements. Regular travel across the UK is required to support conferences, trustee and committee meetings, planning days, and other organisational activities. On average, this is expected to be around once a month, although the level of travel will go up and down, with some periods busier than others. Reasonable travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed in line with UKATA policies.

We are looking for someone who can work 30 hours across at least four days a week, primarily during normal weekday office hours. Some flexibility will be required to attend occasional evening meetings and weekend events.

Salary

The full-time equivalent salary for this role is £40,000. The pro rata salary is £32,000.

Job Location: Belfast (Hybrid)

Staff are expected to come into their base office once per week. Staff are also able to flex their start and finish times between the hours of 7am to 7pm daily. 

Our Belfast office is located in an historic building in a lively area, close to the Ulster University Belfast campus, cafés, restaurants, shops, and excellent transport links. About the role

The Direct Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering high-quality direct marketing campaigns that drive income and engagement from individual supporters. Focusing on cash appeals and alternative gifts, this role will manage the planning, delivery, and evaluation of multi-channel campaigns that inspire supporters to give, strengthen loyalty, and maximise return on investment.

About You

You are organised, proactive and experienced in delivering successful direct marketing campaigns across channels such as direct mail and email. With excellent planning and project management skills, you can manage multiple campaigns from concept to completion, working collaboratively with colleagues, agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

You have strong analytical and numerical skills, enjoy working with data and databases, and use campaign insights to drive continuous improvement. Comfortable using Excel, Word and CRM or database systems, you're confident managing campaign data, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve supporter engagement and response.

An excellent communicator, you have strong written skills and experience writing and editing compelling email and campaign copy. You build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, working collaboratively while confidently managing priorities, negotiating deadlines and solving problems as they arise.

You're highly organised, able to manage a varied workload and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. You take ownership of your work, bring fresh ideas and a creative approach to campaign development, and are always looking for ways to improve results.

Ideally, you'll have experience within the charity sector, individual giving or supporter fundraising, along with an understanding of digital marketing, donor care and audience segmentation. Most importantly, you're motivated by the opportunity to create meaningful campaigns that inspire supporters and make a lasting impact.

Belfast: £30,075 - £33,416, based on full time hours (35 hours per week)
