At The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, accurate, accessible and well-managed data underpins everything from supporter stewardship to the delivery of ambitious fundraising campaigns. We are looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Senior Database Officer to help colleagues get the best from our fundraising CRM, strengthen data quality and support our ongoing transition to Raiser’s Edge NXT.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative Data and Fundraising Operations team at a time of significant growth. You will combine technical database work with stakeholder support, training and process improvement, helping colleagues use our systems confidently and effectively.
You do not need to know every system we use from day one. If you have strong data manipulation skills, enjoy solving complex problems and can quickly develop expertise in new technology, we would love to hear from you.

Our Data and Fundraising Operations team acts as the technical lead for many of the Charity’s systems and technical projects. Alongside developing your knowledge of Raiser’s Edge NXT, you’ll have opportunities to broaden your experience across Excel, Access, SharePoint, APIs, data integrations, reporting, automation and system implementation.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team where you can deepen your CRM expertise while developing a broader understanding of data, systems and digital processes within fundraising.

You may already be working as a Database Officer, CRM Officer or charity data specialist and be ready to take the next step in your career.

Just as importantly, you enjoy working with people and can explain technical information clearly to colleagues with different levels of confidence and experience.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Partnerships Data Analyst to support one of Fairtrade Foundation’s key global partnerships. Working closely with our Ben & Jerry's account team, you'll deliver reporting, analysis and insight that helps demonstrate impact, strengthen accountability and support informed decision-making.
You'll analyse partnership data, produce impact reports, support data quality and help ensure Fairtrade and Ben & Jerry's have the evidence needed to drive meaningful change across global supply chains.
About you
You'll have experience in data analysis, reporting or insight generation, strong Excel skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear, accessible insights. Experience working with partner or commercial reporting and large datasets would be an advantage.

Then join Shelter as a Business Intelligence Analyst and you could soon be playing an important role at the heart of our Data Management & Insight team.
About the role
To provide management information, business intelligence, and insight across Shelter through the design, development, and maintenance of datasets, reports, dashboards, and systems using Microsoft Power BI and other analytical tools.
Role specifics
To succeed, you’ll need proven experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting datasets using Power BI and working with CRMs and other systems. You’ll also need excellent Excel skills and familiarity with database structures such as SQL. Comfortable working with colleagues at all levels across an organisation, you enjoy nothing more than collating, analysing and disseminating business intelligence or helping others develop intelligence from reports and dashboards. What’s more, you’re keen to get involved in a variety of projects as part of a strategic programme aimed at improving the way we work.

Part of our Strategy Enablement Directorate, the Data & Insight Team delivers high-quality data and database management, administrative services and business insight to the department and other teams across Shelter. Custodians of supporter data for its full life cycle, running through everything we do is a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data quality and embedding a culture of standards, both in terms of compliance and best practice across the department.
