Successful candidates for the post of Member Response Team Leader will be able to demonstrate:

The main duties of the Member Response Team Leader role include:
- Managing a team of Member Response Team Administrators
- Day-to-day operations of the team
- Ensuring workflows are managed efficiently and service level agreements are consistently met
With an ability to foster a positive and collaborative working environment both remotely and in person, the Member Response Team Leader will be expected to provide clear direction, conduct appraisals, and support the professional development of their team. Strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to motivate and engage staff are essential.
The role of Member Response Team Leader offers hybrid working with flexibility to work from home outside of peak periods. Due to key operational and democratic activities, the Member Response Team Leader will be required to attend the office daily from February to April each year and additional periods throughout the year. Outside of this period, hybrid flexibility will apply in line with team needs and organisational policy.

Main duties and responsibilities
1. People Management
- Day-to-day management of staff and workflow
- Manage work allocation, future planning and support for team/line manager
- Through the appraisal system, identify training and development needs, train or organise training for staff
- Undertake induction programmes, 1 to 1s and appraisals with staff as appropriate
- Apply the staff conduct policies e.g. discipline, grievance, capability, dignity at work and IT security policies as and when required
- Check work standards and maintain consistent quality of delegated tasks

2. Systems Management

About the role
In this rewarding role right at the heart of our Macmillan Support line, you will work in a busy and varied environment, while providing emotional support and key information to people living with cancer and their loved ones at a time of great need.
Due to the nature of some of the calls and webchats, the role can be challenging at times, so resilience is key. However, it’s extremely fulfilling, to be able to support people who are going through such difficult times.

Shift patterns
Our Support Line is available 365 days a year, including bank holidays from 8am to 8pm and is key to our strategic objective of reaching everyone whilst focusing on those who need the most support.
To cover our service and opening hours you will be required to work a shift pattern including evening and week shift on a 3 week rotation. Please review attachment/main Macmillan advert for a sample rota of what you will be expected to work.
Mid-week days off and the shorter day each week may differ from this sample rota, but will be consistent across your rota. Within the shift times is a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

This role requires a quiet and private space to work where calls cannot be overheard, and a stable home broadband connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed. Higher speeds may be necessary depending on system access and telephony requirements.

Join our small and fast paced team as a supporter care officer. Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent service to supporters, people with lung conditions, and health care professionals, providing them with information about the charity, supporting them with queries about donations, and being the first point of contact many will have with us.
Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.
Alongside providing high quality supporter care, you will support the processing of income, general data entry and liaise with external agencies and colleagues in other parts of the charity. You’ll be an expert user of our Charity CRM, assisting colleagues and promoting its consistent use across the organisation.
You will have excellent customer service skills, excellent IT skills and some experience of charity fundraising & charity CRMs. You will be organised, a good communicator and a team player. You will interact with colleagues at all levels across the organisation and have a great opportunity to develop your customer service and data management skillsets.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and using data to support informed decisions. As our Data Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our information systems, supporting teams across the MND Association to make the best use of our CRM and data resources.
Hybrid Working and Flexibility: This role offers hybrid working, with the expectation to attend the office 1 - 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of data quality by applying regular checks and processes
- Monitor data imports, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with the Data Team to develop, test and implement efficient and automated data processes
- Create clear, accessible documentation to support understanding and effective use of data systems
- Build queries and provide data support to colleagues and stakeholders across the Association
- Deliver inductions and ongoing training for new and existing database users
- Ensure compliance with data protection legislation in all data handling activities
- Manage daily integration issues and liaise with internal teams and external suppliers as needed
About You:
- Experienced in working with CRM databases, ideally including Raiser’s Edge or Dynamics 365
- Skilled in managing data imports and maintaining data quality and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of Excel and/or Access for data manipulation
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot data issues
- Confident communicator, able to support and train colleagues at all levels
- Understanding of data compliance, privacy legislation, and data integration processes
