What we’re looking for:
- Someone who will support the success of the Regional Fundraising team by coordinating a range of processes, projects and ways of working to create better collaboration and consistency across the team, enabling us to meet our team objectives of securing sustainable income.
- Someone who can monitor and take ownership of all regular Regional Processes e.g. Monthly financial reporting, basic database (CARE) checks/reporting, risk assessment process, setting up team meeting and conducting research.
- Someone with a data driven mindset and confident in representing the team’s data needs to other teams such as Data team and CRM Migration team.
- Someone confident in liaising with other teams across the charity as needed (e.g. obtaining data from data team, bringing back key information on upcoming campaigns etc).

Our research work supports collective learning related to working on and with the land. We communicate our findings through articles, blogs, podcasts, reports, events, and more - building a shared evidence base to support the development of a just land system. The role holder will lead the full range of Shared Assets’ research projects, from scoping and design through to delivery, follow up and evaluation. They will need to have experience of designing and carrying out research and learning activities with a wide range of partners - including academics, community groups, NGOS and local authorities - in collaborative ways. In the past we have worked on research projects of many scales - from large European Union funded consortia, to smaller, one-off pieces which help a local authority or community organisation move forward with their work. Often our research work involves collaborating with a group of other civil society organisations to provide evidence of why change in the land, food and farming system is needed, and generate action on these issues.
The main areas of work are to: manage and deliver funded research projects (or projects with a research component) with partners, reflect with colleagues on what we are learning within and across workstreams as an organisation and sector, use this knowledge to create new ideas for research work, and support fundraising for these, as part of our ‘infrastructure’ role.

Duties and responsibilities

- Support the organisation and coordination of fundraising and key profile raising events, such as evening events, Action Tutoring anniversary celebrations or funder breakfasts, through sourcing suitable venues and overseeing logistics.
- Support with other key profile raising events, for example, oversee annual fundraising campaigns, such as the Big Give Christmas Challenge, source new campaign opportunities for Action Tutoring to engage and carry out initial enquiries to determine suitability to apply/engage with.

SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime is a dynamic Oxford based charity working across the Thames Valley. We are looking for experienced practitioners based in the Thames Valley and the surrounding areas to provide support on a freelance basis to young people and parents/caregivers across all our services. The Role

RESPONSIBLE FOR

ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a Finance and Operations Manager to support the CEO in the day-to-day running of our charity. The NUM CEO develops the overall vision of the organisation, while the Operations Manager is responsible to carry out the vision.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience as a manager in a position of public trust, have excellent financial, organisational, and communications skills, as well as being a problem-solver with work experience in high-pressure work environments. The Finance and Operations Manager must be versatile in their understanding of the larger vision and as well as the fine details and tactics needed to achieve NUM's goals.
The successful candidate will work in an agile manner to ensure the charity continues to be proactive and innovative, while also being responsive to the changing landscape within the sector and the international sex worker rights and safety movement. As part of supporting the operations of NUM, the successful candidate will provide resources, information and support to NUM Managers and Coordinators across diverse projects, workstreams and teams, to achieve aspects of the organisation’s mandate of 'ending all forms of violence against sex workers' and eliminating the conditions that lead to poverty and survival sex work.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years' work experience as a Manager, Project or Programme Manager or similar role that requires oversight of a whole system, business, operation or organisation Experience leading remote or hybrid teams is desired. This includes time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, lead team meetings and support members to manage resources, timelines and project budgets, etc.

At least two years’ experience in grant writing and fund development, as well as in financial management, with a demonstrated ability to co-develop budgets, cashflow forecasts and financial reporting as well as oversee banking activities and work with accountants and Trustees to ensure NUM’s financial health.

Knowledge of the charity sector, the day-to-day running of a charity, business or similar organisation, and familiarity with the work of National Ugly Mugs and other sex worker-serving and sex worker-led organisations.

The Role
Working with the Project Delivery Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of the Champions programmes in line with the Organisation’s quality processes. You will have strong communication skills to support project execution while playing a key role in telephone-based promotional activities. You will be responsible for the recruitment and tracking of participants, ongoing monitoring and achievement of objectives set by the Project Officer in line with project objectives to ensure all contractual obligations are delivered successfully.
Main duties include:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and all associated administration
- Coordinate internal meetings and virtual events
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective nursery settings, participants or partners as part of recruitment activities
- Recruit nursery settings to programmes via email, telephone calls etc.
- Support marketing and sales efforts by gathering feedback and identifying potential leads
- Assist in campaign execution, including scheduling calls and reporting outcomes
- Prepare and dispatch project/contract materials and documents, ensuring customers receive materials within allocated timescales
About You
You will have strong communication skills to support project execution while playing a key role in telephone-based promotional activities.
Successful candidates will have experience of:
- Project co-ordination, administration or similar role
- Development and monitoring of project processes and systems using online technology
- Maintaining relationships with contract participants
- Dealing with and maintaining relationships with external delivery partners
- Conducting professional telephone calls
With knowledge of:
- Data management
- Comfortable using video conferencing technology
- Processes and best practice of contact initiation to successful completion

Join the award-winning Moving Medicine team, led by the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK. We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead two impactful patient-centred physical activity projects.
About the role:
Moving Medicine is an award-winning initiative of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM) aimed at improving health through physical activity. It provides healthcare professionals with practical tools and evidence-based resources to promote physical activity in clinical practice. Moving Medicine is our free, award-winning initiative, designed to provide clinicians and allied health professionals with accessible, evidence based, condition specific information to help give advice on physical activity at all stages of a patient’s treatment pathway.
We are expanding our impact through the development of additional Moving Medicine resources for patients. This role will include project managing two large, interlinked projects, with time split across both:
One project is in conjunction with Nuffield Health, the project funders, will initially focus on publishing the newly built Moving Medicine Everyone website (due for publication in November 2025) and accompanying educational resources. The Project Manager will work closely with Moving Medicine clinicians, healthcare partners, stakeholders, and academic collaborators. A key aspect of this role will be to coordinate stakeholder engagement, facilitate collaborative input from academic and clinical experts, and support the demonstration of social impact through evaluation and dissemination activities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aligning the project with strategic goals, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong relationships.
The other project, Moving Together, is a national collaborative initiative led by the FSEM in partnership with Active Partnerships National Office and funded by Sport England (National Lottery). The project is building a broad cross-sector network and aims to empower people with long-term health conditions to access physical activity by removing barriers, developing evidence-based frameworks, training resources, and governance structures that enable consistent, safe, and effective physical activity conversations across sectors and systems. Working closely with clinicians, patients, policymakers, and professional bodies, Moving Together connects national standards with local implementation, supporting workforce development, data-driven evaluation, and sustainable behaviour change to improve population health and reduce inequalities.
The Project Manager will split their time across both projects, which are closely connected in their goals and approach, and will play a key role in ensuring alignment and synergy between them. This includes supporting shared stakeholders, integrating learning and resources, and contributing to a unified strategy for improving physical activity access and outcomes for patients.

You will have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills with the ability to manage a wide range of tasks together with line management experience. You need to be self-motivated and committed to making a difference, with a willingness to attend Myeloma UK meetings and events and work outside office hours as and when required
Experience working in haematology or oncology nursing, clinical research or healthcare background and experience of Helplines Partnership accreditation would be beneficial but not essential.
About the role
As Support Services Manager you will support the Lead Myeloma Information Specialist, the Peer Service Co-ordinator and Support Group Co-ordinator to deliver their respective services. In addition, you will deliver personalised, empathetic, and accessible information and support to service users affected by myeloma and its related conditions (such as AL amyloidosis, smouldering myeloma, and MGUS).
You will need to work towards being an internal expert on myeloma, keeping aware of research and clinical developments, current opinions, guidelines and other initiatives in the field of myeloma and related conditions, including the pipeline of myeloma drugs.
As part of the role, you will monitor impact and ensure all services are running in accordance with Service Guidelines, including leading the submission to the Helplines Partnership for re-accreditation as required. You will lead the team in service improvements and new initiatives, working with colleagues from across the organisation to drive impactful changes.

This role includes up to 50% of time spent managing organisation-wide priority projects. You will be responsible for managing existing projects to completion and initiating and managing to completion new projects if required. You must ensure projects are delivered to time, within budget and to the required quality criteria.
