Over 2,500 organisations (centres) across the education and community sectors are already on their leadership journey with us. With an aim of reaching over 200,000 young people per year through our leadership offer by 2028, this role will be integral to ensuring a centre’s journey with the Leadership Skills Foundation is an effortless one.

Having recently settled into our new identity and expanding the portfolio of programmes we have on offer, this role will work closely with our Business Development team, Admin team and Quality Assurance team to ensure that our existing delivery centres are sufficiently supported to forge a sustainable leadership pathway.

We’re looking for someone to adopt a consistent relationship management process to support all staff at existing delivery centres and to on-board new centres. Organisation and efficiency, along with a clear communication style and an ability to effectively manage data are essential skills for this role. This role necessitates that the successful candidate be creative with their ideas to enable the successful relationship management of our centres, while also effectively handling phone calls, emails and queries via an online live chat function.

Role Purpose:

1. Provide appropriate support to centres when they contact the Leadership Skills Foundation.
2. Establish consistent and robust engagement and relationship management practices including logging touch points and interpreting data with a variety of our customers.
3. Respond to centre enquiries, help resolve technical issues and potential issues to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support via effective relationship management strategies to support customers with any queries and issues across the customer journey in line with the Customer Experience Strategy.
• Proactively seek opportunities to create and maintain strong working relationships with centres that seek support from the organisation via central communication channels (phone, emails and live chat).
• Provide proactive and customised centre outreach that constantly seeks to elevate the experience of existing centres including recording accurate and timely customer intelligence.
• Resolve programme/service issues, troubleshoot challenges and support centres that are having difficulty accessing resources, registering their course(s) and/or learners.
• Support centres as they work through various policies and procedures. For example, the maintain and withdrawal procedures.
• Support Business Development strategies to meet agreed objectives and budgets.
• Utilise insight and reporting systems (various) to provide analysis and updates in relation to learner registrations and other centre insight metrics.
• Ensure sales planning, pipeline and forecasting exercises are completed on a regular basis, including annual budgeting to maximise learner and programme registration opportunities.
• Any other centre-facing tasks that need completing at various times of the year.

We are seeking a Community Development Officer to lead a major in-progress project improving recognition, support, and care for people with smell and taste disorders at a local level across England. 

This three-year, volunteer-led programme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund has achieved significant success in its first eighteen months. We are now recruiting a new postholder to take this strong foundation forward through the next phase of delivery. 

Over the past eighteen months, we have recruited and established a thriving network of volunteers and local groups across England. This momentum is expected to continue. The Community Development Officer will work closely with existing volunteers and groups, primarily remotely, while also attending in-person events and meetings in different parts of England as needed. 

The postholder will lead the ongoing recruitment, training, and support of volunteer groups, working with them to identify opportunities for local outreach and engagement. Together, you will ensure that more people affected by smell and taste disorders access the information, support, and recognition they need, while continuing to raise awareness of these often-unrecognised sensory impairments. 

Our volunteer groups bring together people with lived experience alongside experts from the food, beverage and fragrance sectors, and other relevant fields.

Summary

You will plan, create and coordinate clear, relevant communications that drive engagement with the new package of support for clergy around financial wellbeing. • Curate, design, maintain and update the content of our new financial wellbeing portal.

Purpose of the post

The Finance Officer plays a crucial role within HDR UK as one of the key points of contact and financial support for the Institute. The role is responsible for managing the financial transactional processes and providing crucial cross-organisational support and troubleshooting via the Finance inbox. The Finance Officer supports with the management of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, from supplier set up through to payment run processing. Job Purpose:

The postholder administers all day-to-day activities within People Services and is responsible for the accurate, timely administration of all people-related data throughout the employee lifecycle from recruitment to retirement. Committed to business process improvement, the post-holder operates within strict confidentiality and compliance boundaries. The People Services Officer role models organisational values and behaviours, providing technical advice to colleagues when required and supporting the People Services Manager across all areas of the team’s work.

Main responsibilities:

• People administration and record keeping
• Always ensure fully compliant employee records, updating as required.
• Process all monthly changes (starters, leavers, contractual changes) accurately and meeting payroll deadlines.
• Bring a focus to gathering diversity data, so that insight and appropriate action and support is possible.
• Maintain and explain annual leave, providing reports as necessary for line managers.
• Ensure that employee files are updated with all relevant correspondence and maintained in line with GDPR, with archiving and data erasure in line with BC’s policy.
• Support the CEO Office and People Services Manager with the annual pay review administration.
• Continuously improve data management processes to enable clear and accurate reporting.
• Support Finance and Payroll with audit requests, meeting reporting deadlines.

Recruitment and selection, onboarding, and induction

• Manage the sourcing and advertising of new roles, once approved for recruitment.
• Support the procurement and management of external recruitment partners and internal assessment panels
• Liaise between candidates and hiring managers, setting up panels and ensuring selection process is effective and candidate friendly.
• Ensure that any reasonable adjustments requested during recruitment are implemented appropriately.
• Support hiring managers with induction and onboarding.
• Support BC induction programmes, providing information and presenting on People Services topics.
• Support on VISA and immigration and DBS checking as required.
• Run the Buddy Scheme for BC.

HR Information and Data Management and Reporting

• Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS (Breathe), record and update.
• Provide regular standard reporting on key performance metrics for the organisation. (e.g. staff turnover, sickness absence, PDR completion rates, FTE, and headcount.)
• Provide people data for funding bids as required.
• Liaise with the HRIS provider for all system upgrades and maintenance, scheduling and testing new releases appropriately.
• Participate in HRIS provider network discussions to ensure that BC is maximising understanding of the system and services provided.

Learning and development

• Support all aspects of learning and development within the organisation, including diary management, registration, and monitoring.
• Review and improve content for People Services training materials.
• Maintain and report on records relating to compliance / mandatory training.
• Deliver introductory training in areas of expertise, for example recruitment, sickness absence management and contract changes.
• Act as first point of contact for external training partners and e-learning provider, directing and escalating queries as needed.

• Employee relations, engagement, and wellbeing.
  
• Update and format organisational policies under the guidance of the People Services Manager.
• Support with the implementation of the annual staff survey.
• Update and maintain the People Services SharePoint site, bringing accuracy and clarity to the content.
• Support on the administration of benefits schemes (e.g. cycle to work scheme).
• Support on people-related events, such as EDI celebrations and recognition awards (as relevant), ensuring inclusivity and efficient organisation.
• Know when to escalate confidential situations to protect individuals and BC.
• Source and support wellbeing activity that meets BC’s and individuals’ needs, including the Employee Assistance Programme.
• Commission Occupational Health reports as required.
• Provide first-line advice to managers on day-to-day people queries, such as sickness absence.

Project work

Undertake projects for People Services that enable continuous improvement of the services and function and self-development in the role.
Contribute to organisation-wide projects from time to time, bringing People expertise to the project team.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly organised, creative, and proactive Events Officer to coordinate and deliver our programme of in-person and online events.

You’ll be the go-to person for making sure everything runs smoothly — from planning and logistics to communication and on-the-day delivery. Working closely with other part-time staff, volunteers, and local event hosts, you’ll play a key role in bringing the BMS community together.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who loves making things happen, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in creating professional and welcoming events.

• Plan and deliver a wide range of BMS events — from scientific meetings to workshops, training sessions, and outreach days.
• Manage event logistics including venues, accommodation, catering, AV and delegate communications.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least 5 years’ experience delivering successful events in a charity, membership, or learned society setting.

• Is great at building relationships and working with volunteers, working groups and committees.
• Is comfortable working independently from home, while staying connected with a remote team.

Purpose of the Role

Working at the forefront of Think Equal’s mission to bring the ‘missing subject’ to the hearts and minds of children in the UK, the role of the UK Programmes Officer primary focus would be to ensure the successful delivery of the Think Equal programme across early years classrooms in the UK.  Working within the dynamic Global Programmes team alongside dedicated UK-focused colleagues, this role is highly motivating, and requires great organisation and communication skills as well as an enthusiastic, solution-focused attitude. This may include providing support to the Business Development team regarding potential expansion of the programme into new areas.

Responsibilities 

Programme support

• Support and coordinate the delivery of the Think Equal programme across  UK projects. This includes:

  • Plan and deliver information sessions, training sessions, launch events and other activities engaging Think Equal practitioners, both online and in person.

  • Enrol new practitioners into the Think Equal training platform as they sign up to the programme.

  • Provide general administrative and research support to the Programmes Coordinator and other staff, representing the organisation as the first point of contact and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Process individual orders from schools and manage shipping requests on behalf of the staff team.

  • Support and communicate with TE classroom teachers and other key stakeholders - including nursery workers, primary teachers, primary heads and local authorities - to ensure fidelity and a high quality of implementation.

  • Check and regularly update stock levels, liaising with relevant stakeholders, and order new stock as required with prior confirmation from the Line Manager.

  • Effectively and efficiently update, report and analyse relevant data relating to projects.

  • Plan and lead focus groups with participating practitioners.

  • Arrange and attend occasional on-site visits to participating schools, reviewing fidelity to the Think Equal model and programme impact.

  • Collect and manage feedback from participating schools and settings, contributing to Think Equal marketing while adhering to data-sharing laws.

• Liaising with the Business Development team regarding potential expansion of Think Equal in the UK.
