The Foundation is recruiting a dynamic Senior Legal Officer to help expand, strengthen and innovate our TrustLaw programme in the Europe, Middle East and North Africa (EMENA) region. Reporting to the Senior Legal Programme Manager, EMENA, and working closely with the regional Programme Manager and Officer, the Senior Legal Officer will manage legal pro bono projects from TrustLaw’s community of civil society organisations, social enterprises and independent media organisations, and support the team on thought leadership initiatives.
About the Role
As a Senior Legal Officer at Thomson Reuters, you will:

Scoping legal pro bono requests from our community of civil society organisations, social enterprises and independent media organisations so that the requests clearly explain the legal needs for lawyers to advise on.

Managing pro bono requests, including connecting the pro bono client with lawyers, collecting feedback and following up with the parties involved.

Designing, scoping and overseeing cross-border legal research projects, tools, resources and other content that address the most critical social and advocacy needs facing our members.

Proactive supporting of TrustLaw’s regional portfolio of law firms, corporations and other key stakeholders in EMENA to ensure TrustLaw regional quality and growth metrics are met.

Actively pursuing and cultivating relationships with law firms to secure their commitment to pro bono projects, employing persuasive communication strategies to highlight the impactful role they play in advancing social and environmental objectives through TrustLaw initiatives.

Administering the service, for example through inputting into databases, planners, and trackers, running Salesforce reports, ensuring members have up-to-date contact information, inputting into quarterly reports, responding to requests for information, etc. in a timely manner.

Contributing to the TrustLaw global annual strategy, and supporting the implementation of a regional strategy to expand and activate TrustLaw membership, ensuring we serve the best NGOs, social enterprises and independent media organisations, as well as the strongest law firms and corporate in-house legal teams.

Executing a robust communications, engagement and outreach strategy that includes member events and promotion of TrustLaw publications.

Maintaining a high profile in EMENA by attending, supporting and coordinating events for TrustLaw and the Thomson Reuters Foundation, including by speaking publicly on our work at panels, roundtables, panel discussions, workshops, trainings, conferences or other speaking engagements.
About You
You are a fit for the role of Senior Legal Officer if your background includes:

Legal experience (preferably with at least 1 year post qualification experience) working either in a law firm, in-house legal team or non-profit organisation.

A good understanding of the legal and NGO sectors in EMENA (and, in particular, the UK), and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities that pro bono opportunities bring to law firms and legal teams;

Experience of project management or co-ordination is highly favourable.

Excellent time management and organisational skills including the ability to effectively and independently manage multiple matters and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent research, drafting and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to establish and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally with people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds.

Being ambitious, dynamic, and creative.

Experience in Salesforce would be favourable, experience working with databases essential.

This is a full-time role based in London, with a minimum of two days in our office in Canary Wharf. The salary is relative to the local charitable sector and will be commensurate with experience.

Job summary
We are looking for a proactive, confident and supporter-focused fundraiser to build and manage relations with JGDR’s local community across North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire. Working with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager, you will deliver a strategy to grow income and volunteer numbers from the local community. This is a varied role which will cover:
· Stewarding and recruiting supporters undertaking their own fundraising activities, including those taking part in challenge events

· Proactively approaching and working with local &national businesses
· Recruiting and overseeing a network of volunteers who can support income generation in your local area. Your role
You will sit in the Volunteering and Community Fundraising team, and report to the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager. You will manage your own time to effectively balance both developing and stewarding relationships with individual and corporate supporters in the local area and working through a network of volunteers to deliver fundraising and retail objectives.
You will develop and grow strong relationships with supporters, collaborating with colleagues across the wider organisation to ensure you are offering the best supporter experience you can. You will attend local events with, and through, volunteers, work with colleagues in our retail and operation sites, and spot other opportunities to promote JGDR in your community and drive support for our work.
You will deliver excellent stewardship to supporters and volunteers and develop relationships with key local contacts who can help to further JGDR’s mission. You will champion supporter care and ensure that all relevant supporter information is stored on JGDR’s CRM, Donorflex.
Key responsibilities
Community fundraising
· Identify, engage, and steward DIY and community fundraisers, developing strategies to promote fundraising activities in these groups and grow income from your local area
· Proactively pursue local business partnership opportunities, developing a pipeline of potential corporate support and making applications to secure support
· Provide high quality stewardship of supporters, groups and businesses within the community, responding to enquiries in a timely way and ensuring relationships are developed and maintained at a high standard
· Represent JGDR as the first point of contact within the community, promoting our mission, vision, and values alongside fundraising and volunteer opportunities
· Ensure that Donorflex is up-to-date and develop regular reporting mechanisms to inform the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager of outputs and results, and support understanding of the local audiences, including individual supporters, local businesses, and volunteers, and their historical engagement with the charity
Volunteering
· Work with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager and Volunteering Administration Assistant to recruit, induct and train volunteers to support fundraising and other relevant initiatives in the local community
· Via volunteer support, oversee the distribution of collection boxes in your local area, monitoring and reporting on income generated
· Coordinate and attend – supported by a network of volunteers – key local events, e.g. county shows, to raise awareness of JGDR in the local community and drive support for the charity amongst target audience groups.
· Ensure JGDR retail shops, and their volunteers, in your area have relevant and timely information on current fundraising campaigns and other initiatives to share with customers
· Ensure that the Volunteering database, Volunteero, is up to date
Other duties
· Contribute content for social media, fundraising newsletters, publications and local media to support marketing objectives and increase our engagement with adopters, supporters and donors online
· Keep up to date with sector trends and developments in community and regional fundraising, and volunteering
· Ensure all fundraising activities and events operate within best practice and regulatory guidelines and comply with health and safety requirements.
· Act as a champion for fundraising compliance across the organisation, including ensuring adherence to the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, the General Data Protection Act and PECR, and other relevant legislative requirements.
· Manage any complaints from supporters efficiently and sensitively
· Act as a collaborative role model to the wider team, and build strong working relationships with colleagues across the wider charity to be an internal ambassador for Fundraising and Marketing

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that will shape how the charity uses data, research and insight to drive significant growth in income from major donors, corporate partners and other high-value supporters. You will lead the Prospect Research function, developing and delivering a proactive, insight-led prospect research strategy to support the charity’s ambitious fundraising goals, as well as working to identify potential major donors amongst individuals, trusts and corporates.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in prospect research including identifying and prioritising prospects, network mapping, ethical screening and developing gift capacity ratings. You will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a collaborative outlook and a high attention to detail. You will also possess excellent analytical and communication skills. Experience in setting up or significantly developing a prospect research function would be an advantage.

This year, Brake celebrates 30 years of life-changing work, and we’re looking for a committed and compassionate Caseworker to help us continue making an impact. If you are based in the Kent or Essex area and want to help people at their most vulnerable moments, this could be the role for you.
Every 20 minutes, someone is killed or seriously injured on UK roads. For families affected, the emotional and practical challenges are immense. As a Caseworker, you will provide direct, trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one. Working mostly remotely, with home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes.
This role is flexible, allowing you to structure your own working pattern within weekdays from 8am to 6pm. While travel is required, you’ll have control over your diary. The work is challenging but immensely rewarding, requiring resilience, empathy, and a dedication to making a real difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
· Providing direct support to road victims and their families in the Kent, Essex & East region, following Brake’s trauma-informed model of care.
· Managing a caseload of service users, ensuring their emotional, practical, and advocacy needs are met.
· Undertaking comprehensive needs assessments and creating individualised support plans
· Offering emotional and practical support—this can include helping families access therapeutic resources, financial aid, or even facilitating keepsakes to honour the memory of their loved ones
· Liaising with professionals, including police officers, Family Liaison Officers, mental health services, coroners, GPs, and other support organisations.
· Advocating for victims within medical, legal, and social services to ensure their voices are heard.
· Providing support through multiple channels, including in-person, remote calls, video chats, and messaging, depending on service user preferences.
· Completing safeguarding assessments and escalating concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead when needed.
· Maintaining accurate case records in compliance with data protection policies.
· Engaging in external clinical supervision to manage personal resilience and well-being.
· Participating in team meetings, training, and professional development to ensure the highest standard of service delivery.

Purpose of Job

Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Operations and Database Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Operations Team.
The primary duties are:
1. Administrative support for JPF’s Achievement Award Scheme and other associated grant programmes
1.1 Support the Operations Officer to prepare and send Achievement Award (AA) materials to all new joiners and organise the general AA mailouts twice a year.
1.2 Manage the JPF general email accounts ensuring that all emails/correspondence are forwarded to the relevant staff member.
2. Database and information management
2.1 Maintain accurate records on JPF systems, particularly the Salesforce database.
2.2 Support the Operations Officer to run periodic data checks on the database and correct identified errors.
2.3 Generate lists and reports from Salesforce, as required, deleting those that are no longer required.
2.4 Assist the Operations Officer with other database tasks e.g. setting up and amending other grant processes in our database such as online application forms, report forms, requirements from grantees, amending email templates, setting up automations, etc.
2.5 Support Head of Operations with maintaining up-to-date organisational policies and procedures.
3. Finance and payment support
3.1 Process weekly payments under the guidance of the Finance and Operations Manager.
3.2 Reconcile company credit cards for senior management approval.
3.3 Ensure that bank details for organisations are correct within Salesforce.
3.4 Respond to general finance enquiries and support the Grants Officers recording returned payments accurately.
4. Programme administration
4.1 Assist in the administration of the Internship Programme, other partnerships, IGFV or Open Grants programmes as required.
4.2 Ensure accurate records of all grant applications and reports for all programmes.
4.3 Lead the coordination and distribution of partner programme materials to JPF partners ahead of the academic year.
4.4 Maintain stock control of all JPF AA materials, advising the Finance and Operations Manager when stock requires replenishment.
5. General IT and administrative duties
5.1 Liaise with JPF’s IT providers to ensure seamless IT support for staff and onboarding/offboarding processes.
5.2 Maintain sufficient office cover and manage staff attendance using the Microsoft Teams calendar.
5.3 Distribute daily post and manage general incoming communications efficiently and update contact information in Salesforce.
5.4 Maintain a tidy and well-functioning office environment, including shared spaces and meeting spaces.
5.5 Organise refreshments and ensure room set-up, including technology requirements, for meetings and events as required.
5.6 Arrange for staff photos to be updated on the staff noticeboard and JPF website.
5.7 Complete stationery orders and ensuring that supplies are maintained.
5.8 Maintain inventory of AA and LA medallions and coordinate reorders with the Events Team.
5.9 Oversee the circulation of staff birthday cards, collections and staff celebrations where required.
6. HR and onboarding support
6.1 Support recruitment administration and onboarding processes, including office set up for new staff.
6.2 Lead induction and office set up for work experience placements and other volunteers or contractors.
6.3 Maintain the JPF telephone directory, ensuring staff mobile numbers are current and accurate.
6.4 Administer DBS checks for new staff as required.
6.5 Monitor Cyber Security Training completion and report non-compliance.
6.6 Purchase the weekly supply of fruit, milk, coffee, tea and other supplies for the JPF kitchen.

The Programme Manager is a key role in the Rio Ferdinand Foundation’s isle of Ireland team. This post is responsible for managing an exciting new cross-border PEACE Academy programme in Belfast and Sligo, funded by the Special EU Programme Body (SEUPB) PEACEPLUS programme https://www.seupb.eu/
The aim of this new three-year programme, is to deliver and evidence a PEACE Academy pathway of engagement, learning, social action and employability that will inspire young people from communities in Northern Ireland and Ireland to create shared experiences and build a long-term response to sectarianism, racism and hate on a cross community and cross border basis.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will:
§ Establish and develop our new PEACE Academy Programme in partnership with Glentoran FC and Sligo Rovers FC together with a network of grass-root partners, as well as community policing and other strategic stakeholders.
§ Line manage a new programme staff team including 2x Regional Coordinators, a part time Training Lead, part time Monitoring Officer, a part time Admin Officer and a part time Finance Officer as well as sessional staff.
§ Lead and manage a three-year cross border and cross community youth and community development programme engaging Catholic / Nationalist / Republican (CNR), Protestant/ Unionist/ Loyalist (PUL), and newcomer communities.
§ Oversee the development of sessions which utilise youth culture as a platform for personal development, working with your staff team to design, deliver and manage engaging sessions and opportunities utilising music and the creative arts, sport, and digital media.
§ Develop, and oversee the delivery of our youth development pathway across both regions, including twice weekly sessions, workshops, seminars and accredited training pathways, mentoring, cross-border events and initiatives, careers events and pathways with a range of commercial partners, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
§ Quality assure the delivery of sessions and outputs linked to the personal development of young people.
§ Encourage and support the involvement of volunteers from the local community.
§ Develop positive relationships with key strategic partners involved in the project and ensure links are made and information shared with appropriate agencies.
§ Work closely with our CEO and Director for Ireland & Northern Ireland on the strategic positioning and development of the Foundation and the legacy of the PEACE Academy programme.

The Role:
The Fundraising & Events Officer will provide administrative assistance with grants and donor fundraising and the logistics for events. Working alongside the Development Manager and the Founding Director you will support identifying and managing donor opportunities, and the research and support of applications to Trusts and Foundations. It is a diverse and varied role and is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to build a solid foundation in fundraising and events.
This is a results-driven role with the postholder driving planned income growth by establishing, enabling, and inspiring events, building relationships and maximising fundraising efforts. As this is a people facing role, you will be working with supporters over the phone, online, in writing and face to face, with the aim of helping donors receive the ultimate supporter journey.
You will require excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to network, build relationships and influence both internally and externally, with the confidence to speak publicly about the work of the charity. To be successful in this role, you should possess exceptional organisational skills, excellent communication abilities – including good writing skills, and a passion for making a difference. In addition, experience with fundraising, donor stewardship, event planning and organisation and CRM systems will be highly valued.
Your work will be essential in generating the income needed to support our initiatives, grow our donor base, and provide vital services to support our mission of rehabilitation.

Fine Cell Work’s office in Battersea is run by a team of 15 staff (FTE) supported by 191 volunteers, 116 of whom teach in prisons (volunteer figures for 2024).
Fundraising and earned income are fundamental requirements for FCW, and all staff are involved in fundraising and earned revenue activities.
Principal Accountabilities for the Core Job:
- Ensure all the necessary administration to support fundraising including recording all donations and potential contact information on Salesforce, thanking and reporting to all event attendees and donors.
- Assistance in the planning, setting up and logistics of all events including attending events as required (includes occasional out of office and out of hours commitments).
- Establish and maintain donor contacts on the database, and, with the Development Manager, coordinate donor communication and planning.
- Prepare donation quarterly reports and report post event on financial and potential contact outcomes and lessons learnt.
- Build and support our individual giving Champions programme through events and regular communications.
- Work with the Founding Director in research to support grant applications and assistance in making applications to small grant–making organisations.
- Prepare information for reports to Trusts and Foundations and major donors, creating a fundraising dashboard to include uploading and managing reporting and grant deadline dates on Salesforce including the establishment of a reporting procedure for existing grants makers.
- Working with the Development Manager, ensure there is sufficient and appropriate fundraising events to meet the annual donations targets through events.
- With the Executive Director and the Development Manager, support the logistics for event committees including assisting in identifying potential Chairs and committee members and working with the event hosts.
- Support the Development Manager to expand FCW’s fundraised revenue through developing event sponsorship opportunities and other forms of event revenue (ticket sales, raffles etc).
- Supported by the Finance Director, set up and manage the annual budget for expenditure and income from events.
- Any other duties as required from time to time to support the work of the charity.

Location: Battersea, London
This is a full-time (37.5 hours a week), permanent role, and is primarily office-based.
Salary: up to £30,000
