As education quality assurance service officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of World Physiotherapy’s education quality assurance services, including programme accreditation and CPD recognition.

You will be one of the key points of contact for World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) recognition. The position is instrumental in assisting the smooth running of World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services and supporting the work of the Head of membership, education and development, and other staff working on the education portfolio.

You will use your experience, initiative, confidence, project and organisational skills to support effective implementation of the education quality assurance services. You will support and coordinate activities and administrative tasks for the full review cycle. These include managing inquiries, processing applications, distributing materials to reviewers, organising site visits, supporting the review and reporting process, preparing documentation for committee approval, and communication with applicants about the results of the review. This will require close liaison with staff, member organisations, reviewers, board/committee members, and external stakeholders.

Duties and key responsibilities

Education quality assurance service administration

• Act as a primary point of contact for all inquiries related to education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and CPD recognition services.
• Manage the full application process, including intake, tracking, communication with applicants, assigning reviewers, and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
• Manage the annual reporting process
• Coordinate the distribution of applications and supporting materials to reviewers, ensuring timelines and procedures are followed.
• Organise and support site visits, including scheduling, logistics, documentation, and communication with applicants and reviewers.
• Support reviewers throughout the evaluation process, including preparing materials, responding to questions, and ensuring adherence to governance requirements.
• Provide administrative support to reviewers in preparation of documentation for internal and committee consideration.
• Organise accreditation committee meetings.
• Prepare materials for committee approval and minutes of the committee meetings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organisational standards.
• Communicate to applicants the final outcome of the quality assurance process and issue certificates
• Maintain accurate records, files, and data related to all quality assurance activities.
• Work with Head of membership, education and development to carry out activity analysis and assess ways to improve and scale up quality assurance services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality assurance processes, tools, and resources.

Operational support

Manage the accreditation application and review process in the CRM (Salesforce) and CPD recognition in CEU Locker (platform currently used for the service).

Manage the data base of reviewers (eg declaration of interest, updated contact information).

Provide technical and logistical support across all education quality assurance operations for any physical or digital meetings.

Work with relevant staff to ensure that activities are set up on Teamwork® or other project management software and support their ongoing management.

Support communications activities:

• ensuring that lists of accredited programmes and approved CPD are up to date
• providing information to promote uptake of quality assurance services
• editing and formatting education quality assurance documents for house style

Liaise with different stakeholders including member organisations, regions, specialty groups and networks if necessary and as required by the Head of membership, education and development and other staff.

Maintain office systems and procedures, including data management and reporting.

Promote the image of World Physiotherapy in all activities and contribute to the overall development of the organisation undertaking any reasonable duties, as required and agreed, to support the work of World Physiotherapy.

Person specification

The education quality assurance service officer must have experience in supporting quality assurance management and administration. They must be highly organised, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in managing complex and competing demands from different sources.

It is expected that the individual will have a relevant degree, or equivalent professional experience in quality assurance, education administration, project coordination, or related field. Experience of working with senior staff, academics and boards/committees is essential. Experience working with reviewers, review boards or academic/quality assurance processes is an asset.

The individual must have a legal right to work in the UK.

What the job involves

As the Project Manager, you’ll lead an innovative pilot designed to tackle late diagnosis of prostate cancer in Black men. Day to day, you’ll shape and deliver a regional model that breaks down systemic barriers to early diagnosis - from coordinating the unification of efforts to address drivers of inequity in prostate cancer to establishing a new bridging fund to support cross-sector partnerships. You’ll work closely with community organisations, Primary Care Networks and NHS stakeholders, bringing people together to build trust and drive practical, measurable improvements.

In this new role, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the Policy, Research and Consultancy team’s evidence base and enhance our capacity to generate meaningful insights. As a core member of the PR&C team, you will lead on the collection, analysis, interpretation, and communication of data that informs policy development, supports research outputs, measures impact and underpins consultancy projects.

• Contribute to an on-call duty manager system on a weekly basis, providing out-of-hours advice and support to caseworkers across the service.
• Deputise for the National service delivery lead during periods of leave, sickness, absence.
• Contribute to the ongoing professional development of caseworkers through reflective practice, caseload audit and management and the development and delivery of formal CPD sessions.
• Responsible (in collaboration with HR lead) for managing sickness and absence and return to work interviews.
• Maintain oversight and support caseworkers with complex and high-risk cases by attending safeguarding and risk management meetings, both internally and externally to ensure compliance with best practice.
• Ensure support is provided through our model of trauma informed care.
• Consult with the triage team to ensure the timely allocation of cases from our central service team into the regional teams.

• Ensure that callers’ identified needs are met satisfactorily, within professional boundaries, to outcome goals, with those outcomes recorded.
• To monitor and ensure that all support is delivered in a confidential and professional manner, adhering to safeguarding legislation and the latest data protection regulations.
• To consult with local partners and services referring into the service to establish pathways of care.
• Contribute to NRVS’ wider processes of audit, evaluation, and impact monitoring.
• Provide assessments and decisions around complex intervention planning, including escalation of cases requiring clinical guidance to clinical director.

We are seeking to recruit to a brand-new post and are looking for an experienced and passionate full‑time Programme Manager (Live Well) to lead the delivery of our VCSE‑led Live Well infrastructure in Salford.

About the role 

The Finance & IT Operations manager ensures effective financial management and control throughout ASC overseeing financial administration, reporting and compliance.

The role provides guidance and support on financial matters to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in areas such as cash flow, audit and tax whilst ensuring that budget holders across ASC are well supported with tools and skills. The role also helps develop and implement the charity’s IT strategy, including managing the external IT provider and service level agreement.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Management and Reporting

• Provide the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with accurate, regular and comprehensive financial information reports to guide effective and sound financial decision making.
• Monitor financial activity against approved annual budget, reporting any anomalies or unusual activity to the COO.
• Develop, implement and operate monitoring systems for financial forecasting and re-forecasting to support sound decision making.
• Support the COO in the co-ordination of the annual budgeting and planning process ensuring that information is collected, compiled and reported in a consistent and robust manner.
• Co-ordinate and produce year end Charity SORP financial statements, including the Trustee Annual Report, providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support to audit the financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, liaising with the charity’s external auditors in preparing the SORP financial statements.
• Partner with budget holders, providing monthly expenditure against budget reports and supporting their understanding and decision making.

• Produce VAT and corporation tax returns and manage ASC’s relationship with HMRC.

3. IT, Contracts & Data Protection

• Support the COO to review current accounting and finance systems recommending and implementing upgrades and improvements where agreed.
• Support the COO in drafting and implementing ASC’s IT strategy.
• Tender and manage SLA and relationship with external IT provider.
• Review outsourced arrangements and systems and work with the COO on tendering for fit for purpose systems to match organisational strategy and direction.
• Lead on the annual insurance renewal process, ensuring appropriate cover is in place and general administration of the charity’s insurance policies is enacted.
• Manage and review business interruption and disaster recovery plans, using regular simulation testing to ensure robustness.

• Work with COO in response to reactive data protection issues and incidents

4. People Management

• Provide line management to the Finance Assistant, using ASC’s management processes to ensure they are supported, motivated and able to work effectively.
• Plan and oversee the Finance Assistant’s workload, ensuring tasks are allocated appropriately and completed to required standards.
• Contribute to creating a collaborative team culture aligned with ASC’s values.

As Treasury Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own our Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions, playing a vital role in our financial sustainability. • Understanding of financial accounting systems and how they integrate with treasury operations; charity sector experience is beneficial but not essential.

What you'll focus on:

• Managing treasury operations including monitoring daily cash position, forecasting cash flow, and optimising cash deployment across the organisation.
• Owning banking relationships, negotiating terms with financial institutions, and ensuring efficient payment and receipting processes.
• Producing cash flow forecasts and treasury reports that inform executive decision-making and enable strategic investment planning.
• Managing end-to-end accounts receivable processes from invoice generation and account reconciliation to debt recovery and customer service.
• Driving performance through data by owning and reporting on key treasury and AR metrics, using insights to deliver continuous improvement.
• Leading and developing the Accounts Assistants team, creating a culture of high challenge, high support, and professional growth.
• Strengthening controls by proactively identifying treasury risks, process inefficiencies, and implementing effective solutions.
• Working collaboratively across directorates to improve financial practice and ensure robust, efficient operations.

The Project Officer will provide administrative support for our work with schools delivering our Skills for Life programmes. This is a key operational role within Partnership for Children and would suit someone who enjoys systems and administration, working in a small friendly team, is comfortable juggling a varied workload, and is motivated by working for a children’s mental health charity.

About Partnership for Children

We are a small charity, founded over 20 years ago, offering a series of programmes to schools and out-of-school settings to help young children around the world communicate effectively, cope with their anxieties and difficulties and develop skills which will enable them to flourish. Our mission is to build the social and emotional skills of children across the entire nursery and primary school age range (3 – 12 years) through well-evidenced programmes and collaborative, mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships.

The Project Officer’s main responsibilities will include:

1. Maintain administrative systems to enable schools and teachers to book training, purchase/renew subscriptions and buy printed resources
2. Invoice schools and ensure payment is received for training, subscriptions and resources
3. Administer the CRM and LMS, keeping it up to date and running reports as required
4. Track income from training, subscriptions and resources against the annual budget
5. Send the annual survey to schools and monitor responses
6. Ensure website is up to date with prices and training dates
7. Deal with day-to-day enquiries from teachers and schools who are interested in or currently running our Skills for Life programmes

Person Specification:

• Highly organised, detail-orientated with experience in and an aptitude for setting up and maintaining administrative systems
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 including using Sharepoint, Calendar and MS Teams to organise and share information collaboratively
• Comfortable maintaining spreadsheets and simple trackers and producing clear summary reports
• Experience of using a CRM to collect information, communicate with stakeholders
• Experience of using learning management systems such as Moodle
• Able to use software such as Eventbrite, MailChimp, Dropbox, Zoom and Survey Monkey
• An organised, patient approach to routine tasks that require high levels of attention to detail
• An ability to work in a small team in a charity with limited resources.
• The capacity to effectively and independently manage and prioritise multiple tasks and ensure they are completed on time and to a high standard
• Good communication skills including fluency in written and spoken English
• Calm, reliable and responsive with a focus on service to schools and teachers

Additional benefits include:

25 days annual leave plus 3 days Christmas leave and Bank Holidays pro-rated for a part-time contract.  In addition, we offer up to 3 days per year for staff to carry out volunteer duties such as school governor or Trustee roles and a pension scheme.

All staff work from home. You will be provided with a work laptop to use at home.  As you will be working with schools and teachers, it is likely that your working hours will align with school opening hours.  You may need to attend the occasional meeting in London or Kingston upon Thames.

Our Time Charity is seeking an experienced Development Manager to help grow and embed our early help and family mental health services across the UK.

This is a senior, outward-facing role focused on securing statutory income, developing high-quality tenders, and building strong relationships with local authorities, Family Hubs and strategic partners. A key priority will be positioning KidsTime Workshops as a recognised, commissioned early help offer within local authority family support systems.

Working closely with the CEO, you will identify high-impact opportunities, navigate commissioning processes, and help ensure more children affected by parental mental illness receive timely, preventative support.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in local authority commissioning, business development or statutory income generation, who understands early intervention and wants to use their skills to create lasting social impact.
