IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all.  We are a world-wide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.

IPPF believes that everyone we come into contact with, has the right to protection from all forms of harm. We have committed to addressing safeguarding throughout our work, through new and improved prevention, reporting and response mechanisms.

In April 2019, IPPF appointed a new Head of Safeguarding and is looking for a candidate who has confident, demonstrable experience of database management and administration to work very closely with and be managed by the Head of Safeguarding.

Our perfect candidate is someone that can undertake the database aspect of the role with ease but would like more out of a role! To this end, we are looking for an individual that is interested and able to work with closely with a range of colleagues including very senior staff, to progress several different strands of IPPF’s Safeguarding Framework, while ensuring that our incident database is always kept up to date.

The work will be varied, interesting and will contribute significantly to the embedding of our commitment to do no harm and ensure protection for all, including staff, beneficiaries and everyone we come into contact with.

If you would like to discuss this exciting role, please get in touch to arrange a discussion with Vanessa Stanislas, the Head of Safeguarding.

IPPF is committed to Safeguarding and recruits staff in accordance with Safer Recruiting best practice. Applications must be submitted in English and by application form.  CVs will not be accepted. For further information and an application form, please see our website or contact Human Resources, IPPF, 4 Newhams Row, London SE1 3UZ Tel: + 44 (0)20 7939 8299 Application form available in Large Print, Audio or Braille.

No agencies please.

Closing date: Midnight Thursday 28 November December 2019

Potential interview dates: 5, 6, 18, 19 and 20 December 2019.

We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be acknowledged.

Applications are particularly encouraged from candidates openly living with HIV.  IPPF is committed to equal opportunities and cultural diversity.  Candidates from all sections of the community are welcome to apply.  However before offering the job to you, we will require proof that you have permission to work in the UK. This requirement will apply to all applicants irrespective of their nationality.
