As Senior Impact Analyst, you will lead UnLtd’s quantitative data work, overseeing outputs, tools and processes for impact measurement, board reporting, governance and compliance, programme reporting and continuous improvement. You will strengthen our data architecture framework, and work alongside other teams to ensure we improve data literacy and use data and evidence to drive decision‑making, and organisational improvement. You will bring a more impact-oriented, external facing lens to our measurement, tools, and data systems, so we can effectively understand and communicate the impact of the social entrepreneurs we support. You may also have some line management responsibilities, and you will contribute as a senior member of a collaborative, high‑performing Research, Impact & Learning team.

Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is recruiting for the position of Supporter Officer – Corporate Services on a fixed term maternity cover basis, to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.

The role will provide a comprehensive administrative and office management support to the Head of Corporate Services and the department. To establish and maintain effective communication with all departments/units and between offices and other functions of IRUK where relevant. Provide support to Corporate Services activities and projects and to help ensure effective delivery of corporate services strategy and work plan.

The successful candidate must have:

Experience:

• Substantial experience working as an Administrator/PA providing support to a Head of Department / senior manager.
• Demonstrable experience in attending and minuting managerial / executive meetings and assisting with the production of reports.
• Proven experience of working with budgets and strategy and maintaining financial records.
• Proven experience of diary and correspondence management.
• Experience of successfully providing full administrative support to a busy department including collating, monitoring and disseminating information to stakeholders.

Skills:

• Excellent organisational and administration skills. 
• Strong written communication skills necessary to draft letters, minutes, reports and other documentation.
• Strong verbal communication with an excellent telephone manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to deal with people at all levels.
• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in a changing environment and respond to different demands with a sense of urgency.

Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge and understanding of using relationship management database software.
• Numerate and literate, with a good standard of education.
• Good understanding of the NGO sector.

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop Power BI solutions that turn complex data into clear, actionable insight across a large organisation.

Position: Software Engineer
Salary: From £49,502 per annum (Regional) and from £57,094 per annum (London), depending on experience and location
Location: Stratford, London or Trafford, Manchester with hybrid working (20% to 40% office based)
Hours: Full time
Contract: Fixed Term Contract, 12 months

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building data-driven reporting and analytics solutions. You will design, develop and manage Power BI dashboards and data models, helping to deliver trusted, high quality insight across the organisation.

Working within an agile team, you will collaborate with engineers, analysts and product teams to create scalable and efficient business intelligence solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing Power BI reports, dashboards and datasets using DAX, Power Query and data modelling best practice
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for Power BI solutions
• Developing and optimising SQL queries, stored procedures and views
• Creating reusable data models to support enterprise reporting and self-service analytics
• Managing Power BI Service including permissions, data refreshes and security
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions
• Troubleshooting issues and implementing robust, scalable fixes
• Contributing to best practice, standards and continuous improvement across the team
• Communicating technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences

About You
You will be a technically strong Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Power BI and a passion for data and analytics.

You will demonstrate:

• Strong experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards and data models
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, KQL and Power BI Service
• Experience with Azure DevOps including CI/CD and version control
• Strong SQL skills including complex queries and performance optimisation
• Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts
• Experience working within agile delivery teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement

Desirable experience includes:

• Knowledge of Azure data services such as Azure SQL, Data Factory or Synapse
• Experience with governance, security and performance optimisation in reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Power Apps and Team
• Exposure to APIs, data integration and master data management tools
