As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.
The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.
You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.
Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.
It is a key time to be joining the charity and helping us to continue to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families. The charity has been hugely successful, but the work is far from done. The impact of the sudden death of a baby is wide and never goes away, as we know from the families that we support. This drives all our work, across each department. Exams Assistant

As Exams Assistant you will support the day to day running of the examinations with a particular focus on question bank management. You will be working with the Examinations Team and examiners across all specialties. This will include supporting examiner panels to organise and run question writing sessions and ensuring that question banks remain up to date.
You will also have a number of other examination-related duties, including – but not limited to – processing applications, invigilating at examination and collating examination results.
The College offers Fellowship examinations in 17 different pathological specialties, supported by the Examinations Team and a panel of volunteer examiners from the College’s Fellows for each specialty. The examinations are run both online and in person.
The Royal College of Pathologists is a professional membership organisation dedicated to the advancement of the science and practice of pathology. About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.

We work from a model of empowerment, recognising the value of our members’ lived experience to provide mutual support, improve standards of care and drive research into finding a cure.
Since the charity was founded in 2005 it has grown from a volunteer-led organisation based in Dorchester to a UK wide registered charity that now has 2 part-time permanent staff, looking to increase to 4 Part-time staff (all home-based), 50+ volunteers, and 4,000+ members. About the roles: The Member Support Assistant is responsible for assisting our Volunteer Manager with administration relating to the support of the charity’s 4,000 members and volunteers. This includes offering a professional service to members of CAUK, typically via phone, email, online, chat, or on occasion in person. The role involves supporting the membership and volunteering processes, ensuring all admin is accurate and up to date. Over time the post-holder will be expected to build a good working knowledge of members and volunteers. They will also be expected to develop strong communication skills, including active listening, alongside the ability to multitask, manage time and prioritise.
The Events and Office Assistant is responsible for assisting the Charity Manager with the administration of events alongside some general office activities for the charity. This includes assisting with the organisation of the virtual Annual Conference, virtual Monthly Information Webinars, in-person Annual Snowdon Climb for Cavernoma, online Cavernoma Awareness Month activities, in-person Autumn Lecture, virtual Secret Santa, attendance by volunteers at external conferences, and any other events organised by CAUK. This role requires you to be in their central London office 5 days per week for the first 3 months and 3 days in the office per week thereafter.
The Finance Assistant is responsible for smoothly running all transactional processes for grants, payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The post holder will also lead on any applicable system enhancements thus offering a critical and wide-ranging systems support role for the charity. The post holder will ensure that financial transactions are properly allocated, recorded, and maintained. They will assist in the preparation of audit data as well as supporting project reporting to aid in the preparation of the annual statutory audit.
- To provide a high standard of financial grants support to the Charity, including modelling income, expenditure and cashflow.
- To provide a high standard of financial administrative support in processing supplier invoices using the appropriate VAT coding and processing of grant payments on the SAGE database.
- To process the payment of grants to ensure that payments are kept in line with both cashflow and forecast.
- Process grants payments and check against grant contracts.
- Monitoring and follow up on overdue grant requirements, including the chasing of contracts.
- Extract financial grant data from the Charity’s systems and produce financial analysis and forecasting models and reports on past and current funding, coupled with forward projections to improve visibility of and planning for future financial commitments.

Key Responsibilities (see attached job description for full list)
- Deal promptly with donations received on a daily basis, following our processes to ensure supporters are appropriately thanked.
- Respond to day-to-day enquiries from Rainforest Trust UK supporters via phone, email and post.
- Support the Fundraising Manager in sending communications to the donor base, utilising content from Rainforest Trust Global, checking for accuracy and ensuring all communications adhere to Rainforest Trust’s brand guidelines.
- Lead on the daily management of Rainforest Trust UK’s social media channels, including scheduling posts and responding to comments/messages.
- Be the main point of contact for fundraisers, schools and other community groups raising funds for Rainforest Trust UK.

We are currently recruiting a Programme Assistant and Executive Assistant to manage a portfolio of grants and contribute to the implementation of the IAWP strategy. In addition, this Programme Assistant and Executive Assistant will support London-based Trustees by managing their schedules, arranging travel, and processing discretionary grants. The role of the Programme Assistant and Executive Assistant is essential in maintaining the seamless operations and success of our foundation.
Executive Assistant to London based Trustees (approximately 30%)
- Processing discretionary grants for Trustees by liaising with the organisations identified to receive grants, collecting necessary documentation, and coordinating with Oak grant management team
- Assisting the Trustees with external contacts, including prioritising correspondence and phone inquiries, drafting responses as necessary, and managing workflow emerging from these contacts
- Scheduling and coordinating Trustee appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries, including the preparation of background materials, arranging meetings and events, and ensuring appropriate follow-up of decisions and agreements
- Supporting Trustees in various boards and committees, including all aspects of preparation and follow-up
Support to the Issues Affecting Women Programme team (approximately 70%)
- Grant-making: Master grant-making tools, especially the grant management system (i.e. database) to facilitate team management of the grant-making process. Develop a deep understanding of the grant portfolio to support execution of the overall strategy.
- Communications: Work with the Communications Department to prepare and pull together material for presentations, briefings, and background material as required. Work with the team and director to manage a communications plan for the programme. This may include preparing and coordinating material and presentations for board meetings, events, meetings, and team calls. It may also include drafting and preparing communication updates, including programme newsletters.
- Scheduling: Manage the Director’s and team’s schedule and movements, including coordinating all activities, arranging meetings, and coordinating travel including applying for visas, and booking planes/trains/accommodation/developing an itinerary. Help track and support meeting deadlines.
- Team calendar: Maintain overall team calendar for planning purposes.
- Administration: Provide administrative support to the team (and office when requested): organise and maintain files, submit expenses, and log documents with response deadlines. Other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Meetings: Attend various meetings with internal and external parties; take notes and follow up on action points as required.
- Routine correspondence: Draft routine correspondence, including various programme reports and other briefings.
- Contracts and payments: Provide support in drafting contracts and payments, and liaise with third party providers on various issues. Maintain a roster of consultants and keep a record of staff satisfaction with work completed.
- Events planning: Coordinate team training activities and meetings including: organising invitations to participants and room set up (table, chairs, flipcharts, video equipment); providing video call information; ensuring presentations are in the right format; and organising lunches, booking restaurants, pick-ups, and other logistics. Provide other back-office support as needed.
- Recruitment: When recruitments take place, follow-up with candidates at all stages of the process in liaison with the HR team.
Other support tasks including:
- Performing reception duties by meeting and greeting visitors for the Trustees and the IAWP programme
- Advising staff visiting from other offices about arrangements for visiting London (e.g., hotels, restaurants, booking meeting rooms) for Trustees and IAWP related visits
- Setting up the office for newcomers in IAWP team: arranging desks, IT devices, and stationary etc
- Acting as back up to others in the London office for office management tasks (i.e., performing reception duties, liaising with office concierge, and setting up offices for newcomers, etc).
In addition to your main duties, you will be required to carry out such duties consistent with your position as required.

What the job involves
We’re looking for an Events and Community Fundraising Coordinator to join our Events and Community Team. A high performing team who are driven to maximise opportunities, we aim to reach ambitious targets and provide an excellent supporter experience.
Our team raises funds through a range of activities including:

· virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)

You’ll be our first point of contact for our fundraisers. You'll provide admin and support through telephone, email, and social media channels. This role works with data through maintaining our Raiser’s Edge database. You'll also update records on JustGiving and Facebook Fundraising. This requires accuracy and working under the requirements of GDPR.
You’ll also work with our Communications teams. This supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. This helps to raise the profile of our fundraising products, as well as prostate cancer and Prostate Cancer UK.

Summary of position
Art Explora is looking for an experienced Community Programme Manager with a passion for arts engagement and cultural outreach to manage and build our innovative Community Programme for Art Explora in the UK.
The Community Programme Manager will lead on and develop Art Explora’s key community programme streams – Arts at Home, Theatre at Home, Music at Home, Mini Art Explorers and Art Explorers at..., and manage Art Explora UK’s growing volunteer community. The Community Programme Manager will manage Art Explora’s growing pool of 140+ volunteers. They will ensure that Art Explora has a comprehensive and supportive volunteer offer. The volunteer community is key to Art Explora’s strategy for scaling up arts engagement in the UK.
