Our new Marketing Executive for Events will develop and execute effective marketing plans and campaigns for the Society’s Events, Training Courses, and Venue Hire operations, helping the department to deliver its objectives and exceed its annual financial target.
Overall responsibilities / requirements …
- Develop a marketing plan and schedule for events, training courses, and venue hire.
- Develop and implement campaign plans for the Society’s events, courses and venue.
- End-to-end campaign management, including planning, copywriting, design, distribution, management of marketing budgets, monitoring, and analysis.
- Use the Society’s prospect database in compliance with its Data Protection Policy to segment data, target effectively, and undertake effective marketing.

The Role
This role will play a crucial part in supporting a wide range of fundraising, marketing, and communications activities for Cosmic. As a key member of the Income Generation team, the individual will help raise vital funds and awareness that enable and enhance the charity’s work, whilst also contributing to the delivery of effective marketing and communications that promote our impact and engage our audiences.
This role requires someone with a genuine interest in working across multiple fundraising areas — from corporate partnerships and community fundraising to individual giving, events and challenges, trusts and foundations, event support for Cosmic led events, and in-memory and legacy giving. You will bring strong organisational, communication, and creative skills to support activity across these streams. In addition, you will collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop engaging social media content, enhance brand visibility, and contribute to impactful digital and supporter communications across all of Cosmic’s channels.
This varied and dynamic role will include research, administration, planning, content creation, and creative thinking. You will support the delivery of fundraising activities, events, initiatives, and campaigns, as well as contribute to marketing efforts such as social media, email newsletters, website updates, and storytelling. A key part of the role will be ensuring our supporters, donors, and online audiences receive high-quality, consistent, and engaging communications. With the wider team’s support, the role will also aid the growth of new corporate partnerships.
The role requires someone who is confident, organised, and articulate, with ideas, energy, and enthusiasm to promote the work, need, relevance, and impact of the charity. Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising and income generation support
- Working alongside and supporting members of the Income Generation team, gaining a better understanding of the various fundraising and income generation activities.
- Be a key contact for fundraising enquiries.
- Collation and sending of information, including fundraising materials, to potential and current supporters and advising on queries relating to fundraising.
- Support the organisation, planning, promotion, and delivery of fundraising, stewardship and other events.
- Ensure that all fundraising activity operates with the Fundraising Regulator’s guidelines, code of practice and GDPR practices.
- Identify and support opportunities to raise awareness of the charity including giving presentations, attending meetings and local events.
- Aid the growth of individual giving programmes, including regular giving, one-off donations, and donor stewardship journeys.
- Assist in researching, writing, and submitting grant applications to trusts, foundations, and statutory funders.
- Maintain accurate donor records using the charity’s CRM system, Donorfy, and ensure data is up to date, accurate, compliant, relevant and reportable.
- Support the planning and delivery of fundraising campaigns, appeals, and community events.
- Assist with event set-up and pack-down, ensuring all materials and equipment are in place.

2. Marketing and communications responsibilities

- Social media content capture and uploading of activities at all Cosmic led events onto all relevant channels.
- Coordinate social media channels, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Support marketing campaigns for fundraising events, appeals, and awareness initiatives.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure brand consistency across all supporter-facing materials.
- Gather stories, quotes and visuals from beneficiaries, supporters, and partner organisations (with appropriate permissions) to promote activities and support to Cosmic.
- Update and maintain website content, ensuring information is accurate, compelling, and user-friendly.
- Assist in producing digital assets, such as graphics, short videos, and email campaigns.
- Conduct basic analytics reporting for digital platforms, tracking engagement, reach, and campaign impact.
- Help coordinate Public Relations activities, including drafting press releases and maintaining media contact lists, in liaison with the Marketing and Communications Manager.
3. Cross-team and administrative responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior Fundraising Executive, and wider Income Generation team to ensure smooth coordination between fundraising and marketing activities.
- Liaise with clinical partners, hospital staff, and external stakeholders to gather information that supports fundraising and communications content.
- Support the implementation of internal processes for campaign planning, supporter stewardship, and content production.
- Attend events, meetings, and training sessions as needed to represent the charity.
- Provide general administrative support to the fundraising and marketing functions including processing donations, handling enquiries, and maintaining shared resources.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to help refine and develop the charity’s fundraising and marketing approach.
- Audit the inventory of all materials necessary for both events and volunteering.
- Sending thank you letters to supporters in a timely manner.
- Spending time meeting with families and staff on the units, using this time as an opportunity to build positive relationships. Supporting the Service Delivery team with massage days for the clinical staff and other key events such as World Prematurity Day and other ad hoc and seasonal activities.

Location of work: London-based with at least three days per week required at Deutsche Bank’s London Office. JOB PURPOSE
Magic Breakfast has a motivated and high performing Corporate Partnerships team which was recently successful in securing a transformational partnership with Deutsche Bank, beginning in January 2026. We are now seeking a Corporate Partnerships Executive to support the Corporate Partnerships Manager who will together be dedicated to supporting that partnership over the next two years.
Background on the partnership:
Deutsche Bank’s UK Charity of the Year programme is a two-year partnership with Magic Breakfast beginning January 2026 with an ambition of raising £2m over that time. The partnership will be significant for the charity. Going beyond fundraising, the company aims to unlock further value by helping to build the charity’s capacity and provide access to in-house resources and expertise. Through their partnership with Magic Breakfast, Deutsche Bank is committed to enabling young people to develop life skills and emotional resilience whilst promoting social and economic equality for young people. The partnership also has the potential ensure a legacy beyond the 24-month partnership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will work with a Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver one of the charity’s largest, most high-profile and multi-faceted partnerships to date. Together you will work closely with colleagues in the Corporate Partnerships Team and across the organisation, to maximise potential of this transformational partnership.
In addition, you will collaborate closely with the CSR Team at Deutsche Bank and their wider employee network.

As a Challenge Events Executive, you will leverage your knowledge and utilise data-driven insights to identify new opportunities and shape budget plans. The Humane League is seeking a self-motivated, organized, collaborative individual with the drive to create progressive change for millions of farmed animals as part of our Global Corporate Engagement team. As Temporary Global Corporate Engagement Coordinator, you will support global corporate engagement work by recording and maintaining data on cage-free and broiler chicken welfare policies and providing crucial administrative support to the team. Keep policy information, corporate contacts, translations, and other details up to date in the database and other tracking documents so that progress and statistics can be shared internally and externally.
- Maintain our database of country-level cage-free information to inform global corporate relations work. Track relevant information on countries’ cage-free status, major commitments, legislation, and more.
- Work with the OWA to collect key language translations of global cage-free and broiler chicken commitments so that groups around the world can leverage commitments in their respective regions.
- Assist with setting the Global Corporate Engagement team’s strategy, bringing a data lens to inform strategic decisions.
- Independently perform research on food companies to support global campaigns and corporate negotiations, finding details such as executive contact information, existing animal welfare policies, corporate brand portfolios, worldwide locations, and more.
- Refine the team’s list of hundreds of global companies in order to identify the top companies to prioritize. Annually update data on the top global companies, tracking their revenue, number of locations, countries of operation, welfare commitments, and more.
- Carry out administrative duties for team meetings including scheduling, agenda creation, note-taking, and facilitation.
- Create presentations for OWA corporate engagement webinars. Co-lead presentations and provide tech support as needed.
In addition to the above essential job duties, other duties may be assigned as business needs arise. These may include non-essential, marginal job duties.
REQUIRED SKILLS

The annual compensation range for this role is:
- $56,895 - $69,539 USD for candidates based in the United States

About the role
The Senior Communications and Marketing Officer works across the varied functions and services of CoramBAAF including policy and practice, membership, publications, and training and events. The postholder will be involved in developing, delivering and monitoring communications tools and channels, building networks, and increasing engagement with CoramBAAF members, the children’s services sector and the wider general public.

The Senior Communications and Marketing Officer is responsible for devising and delivering a programme of regular membership and customer communications using a range of tools and platforms to achieve this and to monitor effectiveness. They will plan and implement the production of high-quality marketing materials, communication tools and content (written, audio and visual) that raise awareness, drive engagement and generate take up of CoramBAAF’s member benefits and services.
