Job description

Early applications encouraged as interviewing on a rolling basis

If you would like to be part of a small charity where you can see tangible results, where the team are hardworking and dedicated, and where the ask is clear, please read on.

The purpose of the role is to provide expert advice and support to manage this charity's data and ensure compliance with relevant data protection legislation. The role also supports the delivery of its mission through ensuring best use of data and knowledge to drive growth and deepen knowledge and impact.

You will provide leadership around the collection, upload, analysis and reporting of our data; provide training for all staff on Raisers Edge database; ensure processes and protocols are adhered to; and work collaboratively across the charity, including fundraising, marketing and communications, to deliver goals and objectives. Your remit also includes delivering a range of detailed hands-on work, including reports and analysis, troubleshooting, and regular imports and exports.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services this role would suit a professional who brings both a strategic approach to work but also the necessary hands on attitude to getting things done. You will be a proactive champion ready to share your solutions as a result of your achievements, with your colleagues.
You will also bring  an interest in general management as you are likely to provide general cover for your line manager but also be line managing a Database Officer.

In return you will be part of a team which is striving for the prevention of the loss of lives of 11 women, every day, in the UK due to this type of cancer. Whilst proud of its achievements since forming in 2009 there is clearly much to do.
