The theatre has ambitions to increase fundraising capability to improve lives by sharing Pitlochry with the world and the world with Pitlochry. Now, they will recruit a new Prospect Research and Operations Manager and Prospectus is delighted to lead the search.  This role is offered on a permanent basis with hybrid working from the theatre and home.

The Prospect Research and Operations Manager will strength the organisation’s fundraising infrastructure by managing prospect research, pipeline development, data management, and operational delivery across all income streams. This Manager will be responsible for leading on the reporting on moves management and informing the wider Development team of giving trends. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will create templates and systems to aid efficiency of processes and assist colleagues to successfully cultivate and steward major donors.

The selected candidate will have proven experience in prospect research, experience in managing systems and pipelines to create insight and will have the proven ability to analyse, interpret and present data clearly. You will ideally have experience in a performing arts or cultural setting and will have knowledge fundraising trends and practice across various income streams.

Main purpose of role The Helpline and Support Officer role sits within the Services and Support Directorate and provides tailored advice and practical support to individuals and families living with muscle wasting and weakening conditions from the point of diagnosis and beyond.

The Helpline and Support Officer will support people to navigate the UK’s Job description health, social care and welfare systems, enabling access to the services, benefits and equipment they are entitled to.

The role also involves informal advocacy, helping service users communicate their needs to overcome barriers; while ensuring they receive high-quality and ongoing support throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities

External Communications

• Collaborate with the team to develop a communications plan to support Cosmic’s calendar of events, income generation and volunteering, taking ownership of its implementation.
• Manage supporter communications through platforms like Mailchimp, including scheduling updates and mail merges.
• Produce and manage the production and distribution of the charity’s supporter newsletter, corporate newsletter, and other direct marketing materials.
• Develop a GDPR compliant method to gather data from families who benefit from Cosmic Service Delivery, to support conversion to fundraising via a Cosmic communication plan and supporter journey
• Create and execute engaging campaigns for Cosmic, based on our service delivery, to generate income.
• Liaise with celebrity partners to coordinate media campaigns.
• Develop and maintain a bank of photographs and ensure media consent forms are obtained and recorded appropriately.
• Assist fundraising teams in sourcing free advertising opportunities for events, such as community group emails and online platforms.
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and maximise media opportunities and campaigns that help raise awareness of the Cosmic’s services

Internal Communications

• Work closely with supporters, NHS staff, and the NHS Imperial Trust to gather compelling patient, family, unit, and staff stories for promotional purposes.

• Keep charity notice boards updated with promotional material.
• Contribute to the quarterly Trustee report.
• Ensure that all communication is clearly logged on the Cosmic CRM solution, Donorfy.

Digital

• Manage Cosmic’s social media channels, developing and implementing a consistent and engaging social media plan to promote the charity’s work, events, and fundraising initiatives effectively.
• Digital transformation of the Cosmic website and other digital channels with a consistent and clear brand, ensuring optimal user experience.
• Create engaging and consistent digital designs for all marketing materials on Canva.

Branding and Merchandising

• Design and create a new range of fundraising merchandise and marketing materials to promote the Cosmic brand.
• Support the fundraising team by developing high-quality materials for proposals, events, and activities, and assist in promoting these initiatives.
• Develop and formalise a clear Cosmic Tone of Voice and charity branding, establishing guidelines for how Cosmic presents itself both internally and externally to ensure consistency and alignment with its mission and values.
• Build a Cosmic library of “curated content” with aligned descriptions of who we are and what we do, tailored for different audiences.
• Ensure all internal templates (letterheads, email signatures etc) use the correct colour palette, format and logo.

Administration

• Build a process to balance and prioritise the requirements and request for digital, marketing and communication support from the Cosmic Team
• Respond effectively to incoming telephone calls and emails, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally.
• Maintain and update the charity’s database of contacts and supporters, taking the lead in implementing changes to improve data recording and analysis.
• Provide support to charity volunteers during activities.
• Develop engaging and relevant supporter journeys using Cosmic audience personas.

Job Purpose  

The Clinical Audit Project Administrator plays a key role in supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of BSR’s national clinical audit, the National Early Inflammatory Autoimmune Diseases Audit (NEIAA). Working within the Practice and Quality directorate, this role supports effective project coordination, data management, stakeholder engagement, and operational delivery of audit outputs. 

The post holder will work closely with the Clinical Audit Project Manager and the Head of Policy to ensure the audit runs efficiently and delivers value to clinicians and patients, and support wider BSR quality improvement objectives.  

Main Responsibilties 

Project Coordination and Administration 

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Project Manager, including setting up and maintaining project processes and systems. 
• Coordinate the smooth running of NEIAA activities, assisting with delivery of project plans and timelines.

The role

Warm Wales is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Fundraising Manager to play a key role in supporting our ambitions.  You will lead income generation efforts for our forward-thinking charity. You will be responsible for identifying new sources of income and building strong relationships with new supporters.  This post is central to generating external income through the development and submission of high-quality grant applications and contract proposals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

General Income Generation

• Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.

• Develop and manage campaigns activities that jointly raise funds and awareness of the charity

Job Title:  Development Manager

Job Summary

The Development Manager will be a dynamic and experienced fundraiser with strong technical skills in grant and funding solicitation, management and stewardship across Crisis Action’s current donor targets including major foundations, governments, and High Net Wealth Individuals (HNWI). They will serve as the anchor of a newly configured fundraising team designed to support Crisis Action to nurture its existing donors and secure the next generation of support for its ground-breaking work.

This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in our outreach, proposals, reporting and communication to drive resource mobilisation that is essential for the organisation’s financial sustainability at a time when our distinct model and way of working is needed more than ever.

Principal responsibilities

Donor engagement and communications 

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day engagement with current and prospective foundation, government and individual donors by members of the Crisis Action team
• Represent the organisation vis-à-vis donor representatives 
• Support HNWI donor benefits structure and cultivation plans
• Prepare compelling and timely donor reports, donor updates, letters of receipt and other outreach materials in collaboration with finance and campaign teams.

Grant management and oversight 

• Ensuring timely and skilled drafting, consultation and sign off of high-quality grant proposals 
• Timely acknowledgement of all contributions and compliance with donor requirements
• Preparation of high-quality proposal budgets and financial reports for donors in compliance with grant specifications and deadlines, in close cooperation with the Finance Team

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development within the non-profit or international advocacy sector
• A proven track record of engaging with foundations and government officials to secure and manage grants
• Demonstrated ability to forge new donor partnerships, and a track record of bringing in new revenue
• Strong understanding of government and foundation funding landscapes with at least some familiarity with differences between them and the stewardship of major gifts from individual giving

• Experience producing a range of communications materials for different audiences

• Financial literacy and a proven ability to understand and construct budgets

Salary & Benefits 

Salary: We have set bands for the salary range for all positions at Crisis Action. The baseline of our salary range for this position is £40K per annum. 

Benefits: 25 annual leave days (30 days after 3 years). Up to 6% contribution to pension. 3-month long service leave after 6 years and one-month sabbatical leave in year 10. CA additionally offers an annual inflationary increase, and 2% salary increase in year 2, 4 and 8 subject to availability of funds.

The role:
As the Commercial Events Manager at Shakespeare’s Globe, you will be responsible for driving the sales and successful delivery of high-quality, income-generating Commercial Events. You will also lead on developing new revenue streams from bespoke event opportunities and will work toward an annual income target for Commercial Events. This role will spearhead the development and delivery of a commercial income strategy that supports year-on-year growth, in line with the organisation’s goals for commercial income.

The skills:

•  Ability to work towards an income target and accurately record financial records to enable efficient reporting and analysis.
•  Proven experience of managing and converting event enquiries and maintaining accurate client records.
•  Ability to manage a broad portfolio of Commercial Events alongside a pool of enquiries.
• Excellent and proven event management skills, including internal administration, risk assessments, booking procedures, diary management, event briefings, contracts and agreements, invoices and post-event evaluation.
• Knowledge of technical, logistical and legal requirements for events e.g. relevant Health and Safety legislation.
• Personable and confident in communicating with others at all levels of seniority, whether in person, over the phone or in writing.
• Proficiency in databases and MS Windows-based software packages.
•  Ability to work well under your own initiative as well as effectively as part of a team.

About this key role

The Holocaust Educational Trust team is made up of hard working, energetic people who are passionate about our mission to educate every person from every background in the UK about the Holocaust and its relevance today.

Over the course of our history, the Trust has created a delivered innovative a meaningful learning experiences and educational programmes which reach over 100,000 young people each year, teaching them about what the Holocaust was, and its relevance today. The schools’ programmes we delivery include our Outreach/survivor speaker programme; our Lessons from Auschwitz Project; the Youth Advocacy/Ambassador Programme; Testimony 360: People and Places of the Holocaust; and Teacher Training. 

We are looking for a proactive, positive and team-oriented Schools Coordinator to work within our busy and fast-paced team. We are proud to have recently been identified as delivery partner for the Department for Education’s ‘Supporting Survivor Testimony in Teaching’ contract. Your priority area will be to ensure the effective and timely onboarding of schools who have registered to take part in this initiative, ensuring that once they have registered, we provide a seamless and efficient user journey, maximum school participation, and encourage further engagement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

When a school registers for one of the Trust’s programmes, the Schools Coordinator manages the logistics and organisation of each school’s engagement, working closely with the schools and link teachers to ensure the smooth delivery of our programme. This includes:

• Coordinate booking dates/times – working with schools to ensure we fulfil their application to join one of our programmes.
• Handle enquiries and maintain accurate booking records.
• Staff allocation – securing freelance educator to deliver content.
• Direct communication – building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, teachers, and school staff, ensuring a smooth user experience for our clients. This includes, but is not limited to, answering queries from teachers / staff as received, linking schools with respective freelance educators as necessary, sharing all relevant updates and information ensuring teachers/staff are fully informed about the delivery plans.
• Courier booking – to ensure all hardware is onsite for respective delivery.
• Kit maintenance – monitoring processes related to monitoring of kit and responding to issues log in a swift manner.
• Monitoring – logistics plans and raising any issues with senior logistics staff as they arise.
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Manage office communications, including phone calls and emails.
• Assist with general administrative tasks to support the teams objectives.

This is a full time contracted role until 31st March 2027 working in our Central London office location with hybrid working available in line with organisational policy.

To provide excellent support to The Community Service Manager and the co-ordinator teams having full regard to the charity’s objectives and priorities at all times, meeting or exceeding the Charities legal, ethical and moral standards. Lead by example by showing the ability to communicate interpersonal skills, problem solve, decision making and time management.  To help ensure that the teams work effectively in terms of daily operations and maintain accurate and timely follow ups with all new and ongoing cases.  To build rapport with our clients in a warm and friendly manner and have empathy with our clients’ needs.  To quickly identify any problems and ensure each conversation is handled in a compassionate manner. 

A good telephone manner is essential, together with excellent literacy, verbal analytical and IT skills, coupled with the ability to work to tight deadlines, often under pressure. To be able to show initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude at all times.

You will have worked in the charity sector at a senior level for a number of years and have the experience of managing a large teams is essential. Ideally, you will have a background in managing volunteers and have up to date knowledge of best practices, risk assessments and guidelines.

This is a sensitive role which requires an individual with the ability to handle confidential information and correspondence.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

i. To be responsible for supporting The Community Service Manager to manage and motivate the coordinator teams

ii. To work closely with The Community Service Manager to ensure that all the charities goals are met and complete tasks as directed by senior management.

iii. Review and allocate all new/updated cases in management, at least twice weekly, and be responsible for delegation of tasks. Any urgent or terminal cases are to be reviewed and delegated immediately.

iv. To monitor performance and capability of the team as individuals and discuss this with The Community Service Manager on a regular basis. Where necessary to provide written reports.

v. Allocate CT admin enquiries and OOHs office voicemails daily.

vi. To Support The Community Service Manager with interviews for new members of the co ordinating team.

vii. In the absence of The Community Service Manager to deal with any difficult situations or complaints and to follow our complaints policies, guidelines and procedures.

viii. To communicate effectively with team members, respond promptly to staff and operational enquiries. Provide feedback and support as well as addressing any issues or concerns and where necessary make a referral to the Head of Department.

ix. Work with The Community Service Manager to ensure that the whole team work well together.

x. To work closely with the Community Support team.

xi. To help answer incoming calls and general queries relating to your team and relay messages where appropriate.

xii. Throughout the course of your work to ensure you record your responses on each individual case on our database.

xiii. Throughout the course of your work, to identify possible good stories to enable us to approach and persuade all individuals involved to submit an article for the newsletter.

xiv. To demonstrate a proactive, positive and flexible attitude to all our clients.

xv. To have flexibility to work additional hours for holiday and sickness cover when required

xvi. To liaise with all other staff of the Trust in a flexible manner.

xvii. At all times to ensure and maintain a compassionate, professional and efficient public image for the Trust.

xix. Complete mental health first aid training and support all staff as/when needed in this role.
