Cavell is the charity that transforms the lives of nursing and midwifery professionals facing crisis and tough times. The need for Cavell has never been greater, and the charity is at its most critical point in its 108-year history as the demand for support is at an all-time high. Cavell is evolving their support offer to offer a Wellbeing Conversations service on a 12-month pilot aiming to help nursing and midwifery professionals to navigate feelings of stress, overwhelm or uncertainty.

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate, non-judgemental and empathetic individual who is experienced at supporting individuals in a Wellbeing role to co-deliver the Wellbeing Conversations Service. The successful candidate will use a blend of reflective listening, coaching-style questions, practical guidance and signposting to help nursing and midwifery professionals explore their stress, develop healthy coping mechanisms and empower them to address personal and work factors which are contributing to their stress.

This position operates as a job-share, and we are looking for someone to join the existing postholder in delivering the role.

Applicants should be comfortable working collaboratively and communicating effectively to provide seamless coverage and share responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery:

• Deliver Cavell’s Wellbeing Conversations service including conducting triage calls and delivering virtual Wellbeing sessions ensuring high-quality delivery, consistency, and responsiveness to demand.
• Ensure exceptional record keeping, ensuring that all relevant data protection and privacy legislation is adhered to.
• Undertake administrative duties to support the delivery of the service, including data entry.
• Have regular peer supervision with their job-share.

Collaboration:

• Work with the Support Team, wider staff, and external stakeholders to identify common themes, challenges, and emerging issues affecting the nursing and midwifery workforce.
• Engage with referral partners and the funder to maintain effective working relationships.
• Signpost individuals to other services and sources of support, including where the Cavell Wellbeing Conversations service may not be appropriate for their needs.
• Assist the Marketing and Communications team to create collateral, capture case studies and build content kits.

Insights and Evaluation:

• Share insights and learning from wellbeing conversations to help shape and strengthen Cavell’s broader support offer and inform service development.
• Co-lead on the evaluation of the Cavell Wellbeing Conversations service including building surveys, analysing data and creating reports. 
• Share knowledge and trends with other internal and external stakeholders.

• Has experience of working in a wellbeing support role.
• Has experience of giving emotional support and practical guidance to individuals who are stressed or overwhelmed.

Role Description

The Funding and Insights Officer supports the Head of Funding and Partnerships (HFP) in delivering HACT’s fundraising and income generation objectives in line with the organisation’s business strategy. This role focuses on identifying new business and funding opportunities, conducting market, sector and competitor research, and generating actionable insights to support HACT’s marketing, customer engagement, and income generation strategies.

The postholder will play a key role in shaping HACT’s understanding of the external environment, including trends in housing, social impact, and innovation. Reporting to the HFP, they will contribute to fundraising applications to trusts, foundations, and corporates, support the services team in developing compelling and proposals for HACT’s research and consultancy work, and carry out desk-based market research to inform the activities of the marketing and customer teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct market, sector and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks relevant to HACT’s programmes and services

The Humane League is seeking a self-motivated, organized, collaborative individual with the drive to create progressive change for millions of farmed animals as part of our Global Corporate Engagement team. As Temporary Global Corporate Engagement Coordinator, you will support global corporate engagement work by recording and maintaining data on cage-free and broiler chicken welfare policies and providing crucial administrative support to the team. You will manage our research databases and conduct research on food companies, finding corporate policies, company contacts, and other information to inform global campaigns and corporate relations work. You will also work closely with members of the Open Wing Alliance (OWA), our global coalition of animal protection groups, to share data and progress, and you’ll coordinate with member organizations and/or third parties to translate global commitments into key languages. 

You are passionate about The Humane League’s mission of ending the abuse of animals raised for food and are keen to use data to support this work. While working autonomously is an important part of this role, the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders will also be paramount to your success. You are able to work independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment, and you bring the organizational skills needed to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. This is a temporary, full-time, remote position, beginning in late February and ending in late August. The duration may be extended or shortened at The Humane League’s discretion. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Update and maintain THL’s global commitment tracking database by transferring,  fact-checking, and proofreading data submitted by other animal welfare organizations. Keep policy information, corporate contacts, translations, and other details up to date in the database and other tracking documents so that progress and statistics can be shared internally and externally.
• Maintain our database of country-level cage-free information to inform global corporate relations work. Track relevant information on countries’ cage-free status, major commitments, legislation, and more. 
• Work with the OWA to collect key language translations of global cage-free and broiler chicken commitments so that groups around the world can leverage commitments in their respective regions.
• Assist with setting the Global Corporate Engagement team’s strategy, bringing a data lens to inform strategic decisions. 
• Independently perform research on food companies to support global campaigns and corporate negotiations, finding details such as executive contact information, existing animal welfare policies, corporate brand portfolios, worldwide locations, and more. 
• Refine the team’s list of hundreds of global companies in order to identify the top companies to prioritize. Annually update data on the top global companies, tracking their revenue, number of locations, countries of operation, welfare commitments, and more.
• Carry out administrative duties for team meetings including scheduling, agenda creation, note-taking, and facilitation. 
• Create presentations for OWA corporate engagement webinars. Co-lead presentations and provide tech support as needed.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative team that delivers high-quality training, conferences, and events for mental health professionals. You’ll play a key part in coordinating sessions, supporting trainers and participants, and keeping our operations running smoothly so that every event feels seamless and well organised

• You’ll coordinate and schedule training, conferences and events (online, in-person and hybrid), liaising with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure smooth delivery.
• You’ll support delivery days by facilitating sessions, handling AV/IT setup, and assisting with any troubleshooting needed during the event.
• As the Training Conferences and Events Officer, you’ll act as the administrative lead for allocated programmes, managing systems, processing bookings and applications, sending invoices, monitoring payments, and ensuring attendee viability.
• You will provide high-quality administrative support to trainers and speakers, including preparing documents, arranging travel within budget, offering Zoom guidance, and organising team meetings with agendas and minutes.

Key details

Hours: Part-time (17.5hrs) ideally Monday to Friday 09:00 - 12:30, flexibility to support training, conferences and events outside of these hours required

Salary: £31,366 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme

Location: Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, either at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH) or our Northern Hub (Huckletree, The Express Building, 9 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5AD).

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We have now expanded our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa holders (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting Ukrainian speaking Employment Advisors to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will provide high quality advice and guidance through 1:1 employability support and group employability workshops with the aim of coaching individuals and supporting them on their journey into employment that suits their previous experience and skill set.

You will prepare participants for employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will monitor and encourage participants’ engagement and attendance in all aspects of the programme. You will provide an exemplary level of support to STEP participants working towards a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of participants including successful delivery of workshops, completion of training courses, volunteering, and achieving and sustaining paid employment. 

The Employment Advisors will work remotely and can be based anywhere in the UK.

About you

• Proven experience or knowledge within the employment sector

The Role

BASIC is seeking a Digital Communications Officer with exceptional design sensibility and meticulous attention to detail. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organisation's digital presence through clear, consistent, and effective communication with key audiences. The Digital Communications Officer will support the implementation of strategic communication objectives, promote organisational priorities, and uphold the integrity and professionalism of BASIC's online profile.

They may be care experienced, have mental health challenges, be neurodivergent or be at risk of exploitation or offending.

Caudwell Youth is a dynamic new charity which has just celebrated its third birthday.

What we do 

Caudwell Youth shapes young people’s futures by providing person-centred support to at risk 11 to 24-year-olds through volunteer-led mentoring for up to 18-months, alongside a targeted intervention programme.

Our vision is to help every young person at-risk in the UK. We give young people the time, trust and support they need to shape a positive future, no matter their starting point. 

Our mentoring service is designed to ensure every young person feels safe, heard and supported. Each young person gains a trusted adult (a trained volunteer) who meets with them once a week to support them as they take steps towards a more positive future.  

This year, we have supported more than 400 young people.

About the Role

We Are Survivors are currently looking for individuals that have the passion, drive and determination to help us deliver our OUT Spoken Talking Therapy Services in our Merseyside, Lancashire and Cheshire estate.

We Are Survivors provide survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support to male (including Trans and Non-binary) victims/survivors, and their loved ones, of sexual harms. We have developed a three-tiered approach to services and underpin everything we do with a ‘trauma and recovery’ framework pioneered by Dr Judith Herman.

We are currently commissioned to deliver trauma-informed therapy services in 15 prisons across the Northwest of England and we require postings in our prisons across Merseyside, Lancaster and Cheshire. Please note we have no vacancies in our Greater Manchester prisons.

About You

You will be a qualified counsellor / psychotherapist who holds at least a Diploma in Counselling / Psychotherapy or equivalent and be registered with BACP or equivalent (preferably an accredited member). You will understand issues relating to trauma, be able to work as part of a team and feel confident working in a prison setting. You will hold a full driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be within a reasonable commute to estates.
