Often, the first point of contact for our clients at the Southwark Wellbeing Hub is the Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Team – the IAG Team aim to provide support for residents who may be experiencing social-isolation, low mood, anxiety or depression. The service handles enquiries from people seeking support for a range of issues including welfare benefits, housing and homelessness, advocacy, family support, immigration, disability and legal advice in addition to accessing our in-house one-to-one mental health support offering, workshops/groups, culturally specific counselling, or housing/benefits specialists.
As an IAG Facilitator, your responsibilities include but are not limited to;
As one of two IAG Facilitators, you’ll support volunteers to ensure that the service is running efficiently. You will be in regular contact with clients both interested in and accessing the service to make sure they have adequate support. This may include referrals and signposting to additional or alternative mental health and social support services.
Applicants should have experience of providing advice in benefits and housing, managing a diverse caseload and providing advocacy, and possess effective communication skills. An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and show initiative is essential for this role.
Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

South East London Mind's Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Service helps people experiencing mental health challenges to secure and sustain paid employment.
We are currently recruiting:
These roles will be embedded within Community Mental Health Teams and the Mental Health Hub, working closely alongside healthcare professionals and Mental Health Advisers.
As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will support people referred by clinical teams and Mental Health Advisers, helping them achieve their employment aspirations through the evidence-based IPS model. You will manage a caseload of approximately 20 to 25 clients, providing personalised support from vocational profiling through to securing employment and sustaining work in line with their preference. Full IPS training will be provided.
A significant part of your role will take place in the community rather than behind a desk. You will actively engage and build relationship with local employers, develop local employment opportunities, identify vacancies that may not be advertised, and negotiate workplace adjustments or job carving opportunities to support clients into suitable employment.
You will also contribute to weekly multidisciplinary meetings with colleagues from Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to ensure employment support is fully integrated within clients' wider recovery journey.

We are recruiting a Programme and Partnerships Officerto join our new initiative: Age Friendly: Live Better in an Age Friendly Hertfordshire where your skills can make a meaningful impact within local communities. This role covers Watford, Three Rivers and Hertsmere localities.
This pivotal role within the programme team support the effective delivery of our work within local places so that more people across the county can enjoy their later life.
Working under the programme Lead and working closely with the programme team you will take responsibility in ensuring that the local delivery plans are implemented, working with the wider stakeholders in the local community.
You will provide direct support across multiple local areas on key actions, such as leading on walking audits, take a seat campaigns, and working with local stakeholders to identify, implement and embed age friendly priorities. In addition, you will play a key role with the programme communications and working with local communities, including overseeing and maintaining our approach to keeping contact with members, responding to enquiries and requests, coordinating events and email communications.
You will be responsible for day-to-day delivery of the local action plan, working independently while maintaining strong communication with the programme team. You will support ongoing review and development of processes as the programme evolves, ensuring our approach remains effective and responsive.
