We are looking for an experienced People Manager to work within a senior leadership role within HILS, responsible for the effective day-to-day delivery of HILS' People Strategy across teh organisation, and ensuring HILS' people practices support safe, ethical, service delivery in environments supporting vulnerable adults.
Reporting to the Director of People, the People Manager leads the People Team and acts as the primary operational adviser to leaders and managers on all people-related matters, ensuring consistent, legally compliant, and values-led people practices across all HILS locations.
The People Manager translates people strategy into operational delivery, provides authoritative leadership on employee relations and workforce matters, and ensures that people systems, processes, and behaviours actively support organisational performance, sustainability.

The Communications Department inspires, informs and engages the public by showcasing Alzheimer’s Research UK’s mission, impact and scientific progress across all channels. We lead the charity’s media and strategic communications activity, ensuring clear, accurate and compelling storytelling that supports research, fundraising and organisational priorities. The Strategic Communications Officer will be part of the Corporate Communications team – one of several specialist teams in the wider Department.
The Strategic Communications Officer will play an important role in delivering high‑quality campaign and communications activity that supports ARUK’s strategic goals. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager, this individual will mainly work collaboratively with colleagues across Brand and Strategic Marketing on our big impact campaigns, as well as supporting the corporate communications team when capacity requires – this could be working with the CEO office, Fundraising or filling a need from the wider team.
The role holder will help to coordinate campaign workflows, gather accurate information, and support the delivery of integrated communications activity. The Strategic Communications Officer will contribute to the smooth running of campaigns by maintaining organised processes, supporting planning and reporting, and helping to produce content that strengthens understanding of dementia and the urgent need for research. The postholder will also help to create engaging, accessible content for cross‑channel campaigns and ensure that messaging is consistent, evidence‑based and aligned with organisational priorities.
Projects to own and drive forward include World Alzheimer’s Month, the Christmas campaign, and other key organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Production
· Support the research and production of campaigns and projects, including the World Alzheimer’s Month, Christmas campaigns and other Brand activity.
· Support on development of communication plans and materials for supporter‑facing activities and campaigns.
· Write, edit and proof content for campaigns and projects ensuring accuracy and narrative alignment.
· Prepare, write, pitch and issue media stories to generate coverage for our initiatives and campaigns.
Research & Information Support
· Monitor external trends and sector‑relevant topics to inform content and news planning.
Cross‑Team Support & Collaboration
· Work collaboratively with the Brand team, as well as the wider communications teams on shared projects.
· Support internal communications and the social media team for priority campaigns and strategic projects.
· Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand content needs.
· Work closely with teams to ensure their content embodies Alzheimer’s Research UK tone of voice.
Administration, Planning & Coordination
· Provide project coordination support for major cross‑channel campaigns and key organisation publications.
· Maintain clear documentation ensuring campaign materials and project assets are well organised.
· Contribute to content calendars for news and campaigns.
· Manage external freelance support in peak periods.
Quality, Accuracy & Compliance
· Support continuous improvement by sharing campaign insights and recommending enhancements, including introducing repeatable process and templates.
· Champion equity, diversity and inclusion in all communications.
· Ensure clear, accurate and consistent messaging across all outputs.

The Outreach Support Worker will build positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect, taking time to understand each person’s strengths, preferences, communication style, and support needs. This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of Alzheimer's Research UK’s Supporter Experience strategy. This is a transformation programme and requires a leader who can not only lead a team but support an organisation to work collaboratively to enhance supporters trust, satisfaction and connection with their relationship with Alzheimer’s Research UK, recognising the importance of their role in helping to get to a cure.
The Head of Supporter Experience will lead two critical teams who all contribute to delivering our Supporter Experience; the Supporter Operations function which include both Supporter Relations (front end) and Fundraising Operations (back end) and the Supporter Engagement and Journeys team. But you’ll also work collaboratively to improve our Supporter Experience across the organisation – including those who give money, time, voice influence and deliver our mission (partners and researchers).
You will champion, design and oversee the implementation a personal, relevant and tailored experience – either through direct responsibilities or through influence, coaching and inspiring colleagues across the organisation to ensure that we are delivering our brand and supporter experience principles consistently across all supporter touch points and communications.
You’ll bring expertise in designing and delivering marketing personalisation and data automation through frameworks and tools meaning you’ll be data literate and experienced in implementing and embedding a martech approach. But most importantly you’ll be passionate about giving supporters a fantastic experience so that they stay longer, do more and feel like a valued part of getting to a cure for dementia.
You will be part of an Individual Giving and Legacy leadership team who will work collaboratively to deliver a joined-up mass income growth strategy, ensuring that we deliver a diverse product portfolio, exceptional supporter experience, and high performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Experience Leadership:
· Lead and own the Supporter Experience Transformation Programme, providing strategic leadership which enables the successful implementation and ongoing integration of our Supporter Experience strategy across the organisation to achieve its long-term goals.
· Develop a high performing Supporter Experience team, creating synergy and consistency of our supporter relations, operations and supporter engagement (journeys and loyalty comms).
· Coach and inspire colleges across the organisation, working collaboratively to embed supporter principles and journey frameworks to support the delivery of our organisation objectives within time, money and voice, leading for our holistic and joined up experience, moving us away from product / audience silos.
· Work with Fundraising Heads on how Supporter Experience can grow their income, and provide support with income modelling and budgets for long term income forecasts and annual ops planning cycles.
· Representing Supporter Experience on key programme boards and working groups to maximise our internal engagement and understanding of our Supporter Experience priorities and activity, but to also optimise our Supporter Experience by understanding the prioritise across the organisation.
Technical leadership:
· You will be responsible for ensuring Fundraising Operations are integrated, automated, compliant and efficient, not just within your own teams, but also across all of fundraising, marketing, communications and engagement.
· Always champion the supporter, working closely with our Head of Marketing Planning and Head of Insight and BI Teams to record, track and utilise supporter insights and Supporter Experience performance data to optimise our Supporter Experience Strategy.
· Responsible for ensuring we are utilising our martech tools and capabilities, and working closely with Digital, Data and Technology to ensure we deliver the most efficient and effective supporter journeys that feel personal, relevant and timely for our supporters.
· Responsible for keeping up to date on latest thinking, tools and technology for delivering effective Supporter Experiences.
Team management:
· Lead the Supporter Experience team, ensuring clarity of team purpose and vision, and driving high performance at all levels, and ensure the team is structured effectively for high performance and delivery of our growth plans.
· Directly manage your direct reports, developing an effective and joined up Supporter Experience Management team, ensuring all team members have clear, SMART objectives and development plans in place and routine performance reviews are undertaken.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
· Significant experience of martech tools and the design and implementation of supporter/customer journeys within these tools.
· Experience of successfully managing teams through change and transformation.

We have a fantastic opportunity for several experienced Team Leaders to join our respite (Short breaks) service in Kensington. The service is located near Ladbroke Grove and Latimer Road tube stations.
The short breaks service offers crisis and planned stays to adults with learning disabilities in Kensington. The Team Leaders manage our short breaks service ensuring safe, person-centred, and high-quality support for adults with learning disabilities.
About the role:
The Team Leader is responsible for offering a creative and flexible response to ever changing complex demands which include meeting guest’s needs within the environment. We require experienced Team Leaders to help run the short breaks service.
The Team Leader acts as the “person in charge” for the service during their shift — coordinating staff deployment, managing admissions and discharges, ensuring accurate recording and communication, and promoting a positive and enabling environment for guests and staff.
We require x4 Team leaders and each team leader will work a 5-day week (37.5 hours per week) with a mixture of days, evenings, nights and weekends on a rota basis. Weekends will rotate approximately working 1 to 2 weekends per month. Team Leaders will work 1 week of nights shifts approximately every 6 weeks. The people we support require team members that can work flexibly as they will need support through the day and the night.
Team Leader supports the Registered Service Manager to ensure that your team deliver on quality improvement, and safeguarding, managing the budget of the service and the personal finances of people you support. You lead the management of Health and Safety in the service. The role requires you to create a harmonious, open, and positive working environment, where people are confident to speak up.
The role requires you to work with people who need assistance with every aspect of daily living, supporting complex health conditions, assisting people with sensory loss and communication challenges as well as with people who are significantly more independent but vulnerable to coercion and control and who may reject support. People want to be part of the community and to develop independence skills and so understanding the principles of doing with and not for is important.
You will be part of a large team and working as partners with professionals and families and so your communication skills and level of professionalism must be at the highest level. Being a team player who can take on additional responsibilities based on a key working model is also a requirement.

As part of this, the Content Team plays a vital role in creating clear, engaging and accessible materials that help audiences understand the importance of dementia research, the breakthroughs being made, and the change we are striving to achieve.
The Content Officer supports this work by producing accurate and engaging content that strengthens our story telling and supports our priorities. It contributes to the success of major campaigns. The role helps create a range of written, visual and multimedia materials that explain complex topics — including research, policy, partnerships and fundraising activity — in a compelling and accessible way.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Policy, Corporate Partnerships, Brand, Strategic Marketing, Social Media, Digital and in the Communications team, the Content Officer ensures that content is aligned, consistent and impactful. The postholder also contributes to the smooth delivery of content production and publication processes, helping to maintain high standards and a coherent organisational narrative.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery and production
· Develop high‑quality content across formats (e.g., explainers, briefings, blogs, supporter materials, video and digital assets) to support research, impact, policy and partnership storytelling.
· Produce accurate, engaging content for corporate and philanthropic partnerships, including supporter‑facing materials and impact stories.
· Contribute to major brand and campaign moments (e.g., World Alzheimer’s Month) through ideas, drafting and coordinated delivery.
· Develop multimedia assets — including infographics, short videos and visual explainers — by drafting briefs and supporting supplier liaison.

Research and information support
· Gather and verify information from colleagues, partners and subject‑matter experts to ensure clarity and evidence‑based messaging.
· Translate complex information (e.g., research, policy or partnership updates) into clear, audience‑appropriate drafts and outlines.
· Support development of evergreen content frameworks and thematic content packages for campaigns and partnerships.
· Use audience insight and performance learnings to inform content development.
Cross‑Team collaboration
· Work collaboratively across Communications — including Social Media, Policy, Corporate Partnerships, Brand, Strategic Marketing, Research Communications and Digital — to meet shared content needs.
· Contribute content expertise into cross‑team planning to support integrated communications activity.

· Support improvements to content processes and workflows across the team.

· Ensure the operational delivery of the Partnership Development Team’s strategy through your partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Help people maintain independence, improve wellbeing, and feel more in control of their care.Support individuals and families as they navigate their hospital admission and prepare for discharge.
- Deliver Dementia Friends sessions and work alongside colleagues and volunteers to provide compassionate support.
- Build supportive, trusting relationships with people living with dementia and their carers across, recognising and respecting individual needs and circumstances.
- Host drop-in sessions, run information stalls, and attend events within the hospital.
- Provide personalised information, advice and emotional support that reflects each person’s culture, background, values and preferences.
- Deliver support through home visits, telephone contact and partnership working other professionals.
- Participate in the triage rota, ensuring new referrals are handled promptly, sensitively and equitably.
- Manage a defined caseload, maintaining accurate, respectful and confidential records.
- Signpost and connect individuals to appropriate local services and community networks, reducing isolation and increasing access to support.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, contributing to reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate and deliver regular peer support groups creating a safe, inclusive environment where people affected by dementia can share experiences, build connections, and access tailored information and guidance.

Dementia UK is looking for their first Prospect Research Manager to join the Philanthropy and Partnerships team to manage and shape our Prospect Research programmme. This is an exciting new role to the charity as a result of our five-year strategy and ambitious plans to grow and diversify our income. This role will be central to supporting these plans by delivering high-quality insight, strengthening and building pipelines, and enabling the development of high-value relationships across individuals, corporates, and trusts and foundations.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders and internal teams to centralise our prospect research programme by improving and implementing our processes, aligning reporting, and spotting opportunities for fundraising growth and pipeline development. With an overview of all our high value income, working with our finance, clinical and fundraising teams, you will analyse and report on income pipelines, including restricted income, enabling effective forecasting, risk management and strategic planning.
We are looking for you to have experience in prospect research within a high value fundraising or sales environment, have strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and income pipelines. You will be an effective communicator, able to build relationships across teams, and link and present insight clearly.
