Deputy Manager (RN)

Location: Agnes Court - Banbury

Employment type: Permanent

Job type: Full time (37.5 hours. The role is Monday - Friday 9am-5pm with occasional need to support the service at a weekend)

Salary: £19.45 per hour; £38,031per annum for 37.5 hours

As a Deputy Manager / Deputy Home Manager with Leonard Cheshire you will aid the Service Manager in the day to day operation of the service. This includes deputising in their absence and responsibility for the direct supervision and line-management of nurses, support staff and other staff in the service. You will be accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical, personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice of our residents.

This role is based at our Agnes Court Home in Banbury. Agnes Court is home to 21 Adults with Physical disabilities, it is located in Banbury town centre. The successful Deputy Manager will:

  • Be a registered nurse, holding current registration with NMC.
  • Have a level of professional development and registration (may include level 5 leadership in health & social care qualification).
  • Have experience of providing direct personal and social care.
  • Be experienced in managing a team of nursing and support staff.
  • Have experience of working with customers who have physical and/or learning disabilities.
  • Be able to work flexibly in accordance with rostered hours.
