Job description

Loughborough Schools Foundation is recruiting a Director of Development. The successful candidate will bring their substantial fundraising experience to lead on the delivery of increased philanthropic returns and developing relations with the broader Foundation alumni community. They will manage an established Development team and oversee an extensive programme of communications and events.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of fundraising for a complex organisation and the ability to develop a programme of strategic donor development. They will have gained senior management experience, be strategically minded and resourceful. An understanding of and empathy with independent schools would be a distinct advantage.

The post attracts a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package which includes a generous school fee discount. Candidates should be aware that this post does involve regular travel and some weekend/evening working.
