You would join a supportive, dedicated and financially literate team, working closely with the General Manager and the Director of Education & Participation. THE ROLE

We are excited to advertise this full-time Finance Manager vacancy (£37,500-£40,000). The role encompasses the financial operations of the charity - from purchase ledger and payroll to preparation of the management and statutory accounts and delivery of Board reports. In autumn 2024 we migrated to iplicit, with the potential to realise further efficiencies.

• Deliver the financial accounting process, including timely and accurate purchase ledger and sales ledger, processing payments accordingly
• Undertake bank reconciliations
• Monitor debtors and creditors

• Prepare annual accounts and meet external audit requirements in accordance with current SORP

ABOUT YOU

We anticipate you will be part- or fully-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA), and excited by the opportunity to have operational responsibility for the full financial processes of Ex Cathedra. You are the kind of person who is equally willing to support the strategic planning of the organisation and to roll up their sleeves to ensure sales invoices are raised and suppliers are paid efficiently.

Essential:

• Experience of working in a complex finance role, preparing statutory and management accounts
• Experience of owning/managing efficient finance processes and controls
• Highly proficient and confident with modern, cloud-based finance software, spreadsheets and other relevant software
• An understanding of partial exemption VAT
• Knowledge of charity SORP

Desirable:

• Recent experience of iplicit, charity SORP and partial exemption VAT would be very helpful
• Interest or experience of supporting strategic initiatives and developments

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Development Producer, to provide development support for and oversee development projects on our growing development slate.

The Development producer will help manage the ideas that are submitted to the development fund, prepare and take part in editorial meetings, and build relationships with production companies that are serviced by Climate Spring, and help form new working relationships within the industry.

The development producer will assist the Head of Unscripted in preparing and delivering creative sessions to production companies and stakeholders. They will also help manage our unscripted contacts and prepare for community-building events with unscripted labels and talent.

You have a track record working on or developing unscripted formats a have good eye for commercially viable ideas for broadcasters streamers and online. A knowledge or experience with ad-funded content, whilst not essential, could be helpful.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project managing funded TV development projects. This involves having regular meetings with production companies, industry bodies and experts.

• Working with the head of unscripted to prepare for editorial and funding meetings.

• Contributing to the editorial decisions made by Climate Spring

• Attending meetings with production companies – remotely and occasionally in person.

• Building relationships with development teams at different production companies

• Working with the head of development and other stakeholders to create new IP with strong climate narratives.

• Managing our submissions slate and funded development slate.

• Preparing materials for brainstorms.

• Assisting in the preparation and execution of events eg: Pitch Competitions, Training days, and social events.

MINIMUM ROLE CRITERIA:

Please Note: It is a requirement for this role for the candidate to be located outside of the M25 and with ability to commute to Manchester.

• Passion for climate and environmental issues

• Min 5 years working in content Production/development. This is not an entry level role, a strong editorial background is required.

• Experience in reading and writing treatments / TV Formats

• Proficiency using digital tools, including Google Office Suite, Zoom, Airtable, etc.

• Experience handling confidential information with tact and sensitivity.

The role

As Project Manager of a new, three-year partnership project working with military support organisations, you will lead the planning, delivery and performance monitoring of a national programme offering bereavement support to those affected by military deaths. This role requires a balance of excellent organisational skills, partnership management and internal project team management. You will also be expected to have or develop a compassionate understanding of the sensitivities surrounding grief, trauma and military culture.

The postholder will be responsible for implementing project structures, ensuring the delivery of all aspects of the programme, reporting progress to internal and external stakeholders, resolving challenges and providing persuasive and effective leadership of the project to strengthen the networks of care within military and civilian communities.

About the Role

Working alongside the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the day to day running of the BDD Foundation while leading on key projects during this three month cover period. About the role

• Provide strategic oversight of all regional delivery activity, ensuring alignment with the national programme objectives.
• Act as the main point of contact for LSOs in the region, supporting them to meet their grant requirements and develop high-impact local delivery plans.
• Coordinate and facilitate regional & cross-regional networks, communities of practice, and events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional stakeholders including local authorities, ICSs, ADASS branches, and care associations.
• Lead regional reporting and insight gathering, ensuring local intelligence informs national strategy and vice versa.
• Support consistency and quality of LSO delivery across the region, sharing best practice and facilitating joint working.
• Represent DCH and BSBC at national and regional meetings, boards, and strategic forums.
• Feed into the development of regional strategies, funding bids, and improvement plans.
• Work closely with the national team to ensure strong integration of regional activity within wider programme delivery. 

About you
Skills and experience
• Proven experience in a strategic or delivery leadership role within health, care, or the public sector.
• Strong understanding of adult social care and/or digital transformation within the care system.
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and build collaborative networks.
• Experience supporting or overseeing delivery partners or commissioned services.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Confident in using data and local insight to drive planning and improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal presentation and written reporting.
• Highly organised and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving context.
• Understanding of regional policy structures, local government, or ICS and ICB governance is desirable. 

We are recruiting three Digital Product Managers, to join our Digital and Service Design Team on a 23 month Fixed Term Contract.

The Fund is embarking on an exciting digital journey over the coming years. This role will put you at the heart of those ambitions. You will take a lead role in helping us to translate these ambitions in to operational reality through improving our current digital service. If you love a challenge, including delivering ambitious outcomes, whilst working collaboratively with a rapidly growing digital team then this role is perfect for you.

The role is crucial in helping us deliver our digital strategy. As a Digital Product Manager you will take ownership of one or more of our critical digital products (and the relevant part of the service journey). That could be further improving an existing digital product like the recently launched website, or designing and developing a new digital product as part of our future digital roadmap.

This is a senior role with real impact, and you will have the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve great results for our colleagues and the wider community.

As part of the Digital and Service Design team, you will:

• Lead on the design, development, and launch of new digital products.
• Set a clear direction for your product(s), whilst maintaining focus on measurable outcomes.
• Take responsibility for overseeing the ongoing product lifecycle of existing digital products including roadmap development activity.
• Lead multi-disciplinary digital product teams, embedding best practice, whilst empowering colleagues to deliver the greatest impact.

You will also:

• Demonstrate strong strategic awareness, including balancing user needs, organisational priorities, and strategic objectives.
• Work with your peers to establish a product management methodology for the Fund, and mentor/coach colleagues to increase capability at the Fund.
• Work with colleagues across our portfolios, data, impact, technology and communications to embed organisational change (including leading business readiness activity). 

We are entering an exciting period of change, guided by our Digital Strategy. You will need to be comfortable working in a changing environment, driving new ways of working and helping others adapt. You should be keen to learn and apply digital, agile and user-centred design approaches.

• Ability to measure and evaluate product success, including defining KPIs, analysing user behaviour and feedback (and iterating to deliver impact).
• Understanding of technology, design, data, and business processes in a complex organisation. Note: one role will be focussed on transforming our data capabilities.
