Your Role

This role represents an exciting addition to our team, reflecting our organisational commitment to putting our people first as our team grows in size.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the Chief of Staff, this role will contribute to the development and management of the key systems, policies, and processes underpinning CLTR’s people operations and culture.

While primarily focused on HR-related projects and responsibilities, you will have scope to take on wider operational responsibilities as part of CLTR’s core Operations Unit. We are open to tailoring certain aspects of the role to align with the successful candidate’s interests and experience.

What you'll do:

Recruitment and talent management

• Support the design and delivery of recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all levels, including contractors

• Oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding

• Lead performance review processes and support the development of career progression frameworks

• Oversee the administration of learning and development plans and internal training initiatives

Employee relations and workplace culture

• Support the management of employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and staff on HR-related matters

• Support employee engagement initiatives and coordinate feedback mechanisms (surveys, exit interviews, etc.)

HR operations, systems, and compliance

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements

• Support the Director of Operations in ensuring compliance with employment law and HR regulations

• Contribute to the development of HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with organisational values and legal requirements

• Manage workplace health and safety responsibilities in coordination with relevant stakeholders

Strategic HR and operational support

• Develop and monitor HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and strategy

• Contribute to broader operational projects and initiatives as needed

Skills and Experience Required

What you'll bring: 

• A genuine passion for people operations and driving improvements in the systems, policies and processes that support other team members to thrive

• Demonstrable experience in HR or people operations roles

• Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

• Track record of managing the full employee lifecycle in a small to medium-sized organisation including recruitment and onboarding

Location and Travel Requirements

The successful candidate will be expected to attend our central London office in Westminster at least twice a week, ideally three. We are open to discussing remote working arrangements with candidates.

Salary and Benefits

£65,000 to £70,000, depending on experience.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Performance and Technology, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and embedding project management excellence across Centrepoint. You’ll influence how projects are governed, ensure best practice is adopted, and support the delivery of complex change initiatives that will help drive Centrepoint’s future success.

As Interim PMO Lead, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing a robust PMO structure that enables the organisation to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to establish effective governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks, ensuring that all transformation activities are aligned with Centrepoint’s strategic objectives. Hybrid Working

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). • You have proven experience leading or managing a PMO or project governance function.

We are seeking a Community Development Officer to lead a major in-progress project improving recognition, support, and care for people with smell and taste disorders at a local level across England. 

This three-year, volunteer-led programme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund has achieved significant success in its first eighteen months. We are now recruiting a new postholder to take this strong foundation forward through the next phase of delivery. 

Over the past eighteen months, we have recruited and established a thriving network of volunteers and local groups across England. This momentum is expected to continue. The Community Development Officer will work closely with existing volunteers and groups, primarily remotely, while also attending in-person events and meetings in different parts of England as needed. 

The postholder will lead the ongoing recruitment, training, and support of volunteer groups, working with them to identify opportunities for local outreach and engagement. Together, you will ensure that more people affected by smell and taste disorders access the information, support, and recognition they need, while continuing to raise awareness of these often-unrecognised sensory impairments.

About the Role 

This role will lead Media Trust’s climate work. As Senior Programme Manager, you will run our flagship Communicating Climate programme and lead Media Trust’s work on the Diverse Voices programme. You will help us further develop our climate work and ensure our existing programmes are cutting edge and meet the demands of this moment.

This role will directly manage our Communicating Climate programme. The Senior Programme Manager will build on the success of the past five years of the programme and further develop the programme content and structure to maximise impact for participating organisations. With support from a programme co-ordinator, you will ensure the smooth delivery of the programme, including recruiting and managing a cohort of climate organisations; overseeing the budget and timeline; managing our relationships with funders, trainers and partners; and impact evaluation and reporting.

You will also oversee our role in the Diverse Voices programme, which works to amplify the voices of people and communities most impacted by climate change. The programme is run by a consortium of organisations, including Race Equality Foundation, Turn2Us and Disability Rights UK. Media Trust is the media partner, delivering communications-related training and support to the participants. 

Your line manager will be Media Trust’s Head of Charity Services and the role will sit within our charity services team. This Senior Programme Manager role does not currently have any direct line management responsibilities. 

Please note that whilst this is a remote role, the Media Trust team meets in-person in London on a monthly basis and regular travel to London for meetings and events is required. 

Key Responsibilities 

Programme Management of our climate programmes, including: 

• Lead our Communicating Climate programme, ensuring it is high quality, innovative and tailored to the needs and priorities of climate and environmental organisations 

• Recruit and build successive new cohorts of climate charities, user-led organisations and community groups, supporting them through the programme to ensure high levels of engagement and collaboration 

• Recruit and work with trainers and climate experts to develop engaging, practical and tailored training content, activities and resources 

• Plan and ensure the smooth delivery of all activities (including training, workshops, peer to peer networking sessions and other events), ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and lead to planned outcomes 

• Work with Media Trust’s media and creative industry partners to develop tailored training, mentoring and digital resources for the climate and environment sector 

• Manage the Advisory Group for Communicating Climate, which is comprised of leading media organisations, climate charities and sector experts, coordinating regular meetings, building relationships with members and facilitating opportunities for the Advisory Group to shape and input into the direction of the programme 

• Manage relationships with our key programme and sector partners including Climate Outreach, Heard and others, build relationships with a wide range of sector organisations

• Work with media industry partners to design and deliver activities for volunteers from leading media and creative agencies to provide pro bono strategic communications support to climate charities

• Manage the programme budget and financial reporting 

• Lead on the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the programme, ensuring impact is evidenced by high quality data and producing impact reports 

• Maintain up to date knowledge of trends and developments in the climate and strategic communications space and embed these insights into the programme content 

Other work across our team and programmes 

• Identify new opportunities for climate work for Media Trust 

• Share key learnings and best practice across our thematic programmes (our other thematic programme is the Stronger Voices Programme).

• Support the Head of Charity Services with securing grant and other funding for new thematic strategic communications programmes and climate work, contributing to the development of future programmes and funding applications 

• Collaborate with our MarComms team to craft compelling copy for various platforms including web, e-marketing, and social media channels

As Finance Manager, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the integrity of our financial processes and systems, leading on fund and tax management, including relevant reporting and compliance.

You’ll oversee the administration and analysis of restricted and designated funds, ensuring accurate accounting and adherence to donor agreements and pump prime arrangements. Job Description

Job purpose: To lead and develop Remember A Charity’s marketing and communications programme, in line with our core mission of making legacy giving a social norm. This core focus of the role is on growing and engaging our audiences across the charity sector (members and non-members) and professional adviser communities (solicitors, Will-writers, wealth advisers).

The Marketing Manager will also contribute to the development of our consumer PR, marketing and digital programmes, led by the Director and Digital Communications Manager respectively.

This role would suit a confident and creative individual who is enthused by the opportunity of helping charities across the UK to grow and develop their long-term income. The successful candidate will work closely with the campaign’s members, professional advisers and, of course, colleagues within Remember A Charity and the wider CIOF.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of marketing activities targeting charity sector and professional adviser audiences, aligned with organisational strategy and KPIs.
• Develop and deliver communications for charity members and Campaign Supporters.

The Finance and Corporate Services Manager will report to the Finance and Corporate Services Director and be responsible for the day to day management of the accounting systems including the book keeping, payroll, bank payments and month end procedures for Invictus UK 2027 Limited, and its trading subsidiary Invictus UK 2027 Trading Limited, which will deliver the Invictus Games that will take place in Birmingham in 2027, and for the associated impact activities.

Job responsibilities

 Financial Control

· Manage the Xero accounting system, including:

• updates to the chart of accounts,

• access controls,

• development of reports to support financial reporting requirements

• Uploading budgets as they develop

· Manage all bookkeeping, ensuring all invoices are authorised and recorded on Xero

· Ensure accurate and timely processing of expense claims, and support with implementation and training of an expenses system

· Maintain accurate intercompany recharge records between the Charity and the trading subsidiary

· Lead the month-end process, ensuring all balance sheet accounts in both entities are fully reconciled

· Ensure costs are accurately allocated against government grant funding or unrestricted income

· Oversee all HMRC reporting, including quarterly consolidated VAT submissions, PAYE/NI and Gift Aid returns and statutory tax requirements

· Manage payroll including setting up new employees and ensure all related submissions and payments are made on time

· Maintain secure online banking protocols and oversee supplier, staff, Board and payroll payments across both entities. Ensure payments are processed on Xero on a timely basis and Xero is reconciled to the bank weekly.

Financial Reporting

· Produce accurate and timely financial reports for donors and grant providers

Corporate Services

· Lead on Games-specific finance tasks, as agreed by Finance & Corporate Services Director

Responsibilities include:

• Strategic Direction: Lead PBI UK, representing it to external stakeholders, including funders, policymakers, collaborators and the legal community. Oversee day-to-day operations to align with the strategic and operational evolution of the broader PBI. In collaboration with staff and the Board, ensure PBI’s sustainable development and maintain effective internal policies and practices.
• Fundraising and Communications: Collaborate with PBI UK staff to create an annual fundraising plan and oversee its implementation, covering both private (individuals, major donors, legacies, corporates, community) and public (trusts, foundations, some institutional) streams. Lead major donor relations, support staff in engaging trusts and individual donors, supervise key proposals, and network strategically to find new fundraising opportunities for PBI UK. • People and Culture: Supervise and oversee development of the PBI UK Office team, monitoring performance, training and wellbeing of staff and recruitment strategies.
• Financial Management, Risks and Controls: Jointly with the Finance Manager, monitor, supervise and analyse the financial situation of PBI UK in line with budgets and risks identified by the Board, escalate any relevant actions to the Board and undertake forecasting and pipelining to ensure appropriate and compliant financial controls and systems are in place.
• Policy and Advocacy: Jointly with the Advocacy Manager, supervise the development and implementation of PBI UK’s advocacy and policy strategy with strategic partners including human rights defenders, law firms, other NGOs, FCDO representatives and other civil society organisations/coalitions. Work with the PBI UK team to develop operational projects and opportunities. Give strategic direction and practical support to the implementation of advocacy on policy, countries and cases.
• Liaison with Broader PBI: Lead liaison with PBI’s International Office and other global bodies, ensuring that PBI UK evolves in a way which contributes to PBI’s global evolution, and maintaining good relationships with other PBI teams.
• Liaison with PBI’s Boards and Ambassadors: Work closely with the Finance Manager and PBI UK staff in the production of PBI UK’s annual budget and plan, using PBI UK’s resources effectively and efficiently. Ensure effective implementation of Board decisions, with receipt of clear delegation of authority. Develop relevant policies for Board approval and ensure compliance, and keep the Chair informed of all important matters. Make recommendations to the Board on the appointment of new trustees (including necessary skills).
• Business Strategy and People Management: Successfully implement the strategy and fulfil the objectives of PBI UK with the guidance of the Board and the support of PBI UK staff. Develop a strong working relationship with the IC and other PBI bodies.
