Position Summary:
Leads the Talent Acquisition team to deliver efficient, compliant, and inclusive recruitment processes, ensuring alignment with workforce planning forecasts and organisational goals. Manages sourcing, selection, and candidate experience while collaborating with the Workforce Planning team to anticipate future talent needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy Execution

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for assigned business units, from job briefings to offer management.

• Partner with the Workforce Planning team to align sourcing strategies with long-term talent demands and skills gap analysis.

• Implement proactive talent pipelines (e.g., LinkedIn, diversity networks) for critical and future-focused roles.

Team Management

• Manage and mentor Talent Acquisition Specialists/Coordinators, setting KPIs for time-to-fill, candidate quality, and diversity hiring.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs to upskill the team.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

• Promote the organisation’s EVP through job postings, social media campaigns (in partnership with the Talent Communications Team), and candidate interactions.

• Ensure a positive candidate journey by resolving escalations and maintaining clear communication.

Compliance & Best Practices

• Ensure adherence to UK employment law (e.g., right-to-work checks, GDPR) and internal policies.

• Audit recruitment processes to mitigate bias and align with DE&I goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with hiring managers and the Workforce Planning team to define role requirements and refine selection criteria.

• Share talent market insights (e.g., competitor hiring trends, salary benchmarks) to inform workforce planning strategies.

• Collaborate with the Team Leader: Onboarding to ensure a smooth handover post-offer acceptance.

Requirements:

• Education & Certification: CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent (e.g., HR apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 in HR).

• Experience: 3+ years in recruitment, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in relevant systems and programmes.

• Legal Knowledge: Working understanding of UK employment law and recruitment compliance.

• Collaboration: Proven experience engaging with workforce planning or HR analytics teams to align recruitment with business strategy.

“Solta o Jogo” is a vibrant cultural competition and festival that celebrates Brazilian heritage through Capoeira, music, dance, acrobatics, and a Brazilian arts fair. Hosted at Kingston University Townhouse, this event engages the local community through free performances, classes, and exhibitions.

As part of this project, we are looking for a Data Analyst who can help us measure community impact, inform decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement across programme delivery. This is a hybrid volunteer role, ideal for someone based near Kingston (travel expenses will be reimbursed). You’ll gain valuable experience working in the non-profit sector and help shape a high-profile cultural programme that has received praise from local councillors, Kingston University, and the Brazilian Consulate in London.

Position Overview:
The Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting Quilombo UK’s community and cultural initiatives by collecting, managing, analysing, and reporting data related to engagement, outreach, and programme impact. This role is crucial to enabling data-driven decision-making across teams and enhancing the visibility of outcomes to stakeholders and funders.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Management:

• Gather, clean, and manage datasets from sources including attendance logs, feedback surveys, fundraising data, and project reports.

• Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and organisation across internal records.

Analysis & Insight Generation:

• Identify trends and patterns to evaluate the effectiveness of “Solta o Jogo” programming.

• Support strategy development through analysis of community engagement, volunteer participation, and performance indicators.

Reporting & Visualisation:

• Build user-friendly dashboards and visuals to support internal teams and partner reporting needs.

• Present clear summaries and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work with Programme, PR, and Marketing teams to align data insights with communication strategies and outreach efforts.

• Provide data-driven inputs for programme evaluation and future planning.

Continuous Improvement:

• Support the design of outcome tracking tools, surveys, and templates.

• Suggest enhancements to reporting systems and support data-driven fundraising efforts.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or working toward a qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Social Research, or related field.

Experience:

• Experience working with spreadsheets and large datasets.

• Demonstrated ability to collect, clean, and interpret data using Excel or Google Sheets.

• (Desirable) Familiarity with tools like Power BI, SPSS, R, or Python.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Help Shape the Future of Wellbeing Through Acts of Kindness: Research Volunteer Opportunity

Do Me A Favour Buddy is seeking volunteers for an exciting research study exploring how personalised acts of kindness impact wellbeing, happiness, and sense of purpose.

About the Study

We're conducting an 8-week research project to understand how targeted acts of kindness affect both givers and receivers. Our research aims to gather evidence on how personalised kindness activities might improve mental wellbeing, reduce feelings of loneliness, and enhance life satisfaction.

What's Involved

• Complete an initial onboarding survey about your personality traits, preferences, and wellbeing
• Participate in our 8-week programme
• Receive personalised suggestions for simple acts of kindness
• Track your experiences and feelings
• Complete brief weekly check-ins
• Share your feedback through a final survey
• Participate in follow-up assessments at 3, 6, and 12 months to help us understand long-term effects

Time Commitment

• 8 weeks for the main study period
• Approximately 10-15 minutes per day during active participation
• Weekly check-ins (about 5-10 minutes each)
• Brief follow-up surveys at 3, 6, and 12 months post-study (about 15 minutes each)

The Chair will hold the Board and staff team to account for SMK’s mission and vision, provide inclusive leadership to the Board and ensure that Board members fulfil their duties and responsibilities for the effective governance of SMK. At Replacing Animal Research, we’ve been working for over half a century to replace the use of animals in research. We have significantly contributed to the development, and uptake, of non-animal methods by:

• Empowering scientists with our educational opportunities.
• Funding exciting research aimed at replacing animals and improving human healthcare.
• Collaborating with policymakers to ensure more rigorous policy on the use of animals in science. 

Our mission is to ensure scientists use non-animal approaches in biomedical research and testing. It’s a better future for animals and humans. For us to achieve this, we need to ensure that Replacing Animal Research is a resilient organisation with sufficient skills, support, and income to continue its work in the long term. Our trustees are critical to the future of the organisation. 

We are currently seeking more trustees to strengthen our board by providing strategic and governance support. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with an interest or experience in scientific and medical research and testing and the development of non-animal methods. We’d also be interested in hearing from anyone passionate about eliminating animal use in research. A full induction is provided for new trustees as well as ongoing CPD opportunities and support. The role of trustee requires an annual time commitment of around 8 working days which works out around 5 hours per month. This includes:

• Preparation for and attendance at 6 general board meetings, which are held remotely.
• Preparation for and attendance at sub-committee meetings as appropriate.
• Between meetings, trustees may be asked to contribute to discussions via email or ad hoc telephone conferences on specific issues.
• Trustees may be asked to sit on or contribute to other project groups or activities from time to time.
• Attendance at 1 or 2 in-person board away days.

The 25th St. Marks Scout Group is dedicated to providing young people with opportunities for adventure, learning, and personal development. We are part of the global Scouting movement, committed to helping young people achieve their full potential.

**Role Overview:**
The Chairperson will lead the Executive Committee, ensuring the effective governance and strategic direction of the 25th St. Marks Scout Group. This role is crucial in supporting the Group Scout Leader and ensuring the group meets its objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Leadership:** Provide leadership to the Executive Committee, ensuring all members are motivated and working towards the group's goals.
- **Governance:** Ensure the group operates within its constitution and complies with relevant legislation and policies.
- **Strategic Planning:** Develop and oversee the implementation of the group's strategic plan.
- **Meetings:** Chair Executive Committee meetings, ensuring they are productive and decisions are made in the best interest of the group.
- **Support:** Work closely with the Group Scout Leader to support the delivery of a high-quality program for young people.
- **Representation:** Represent the group at district and county meetings, and act as an ambassador for the group within the community.
- **Fundraising:** Oversee fundraising activities and ensure the group has the necessary resources to operate effectively.

Ensure effective communication within the group and with external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

Leadership:

Proven leadership skills and experience in a similar role.

Communication:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Organization:

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

 A commitment to the values and principles of Scouting.

Teamwork: 

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Fundraising:

Experience in fundraising and resource management is desirable.

Time Commitment:

This is a volunteer position requiring a commitment of up to 4 meetings per year, including attendance at events to promote the group

IAPWA are currently seeking a Community Fundraising Co-ordinator to join their UK team to support their development of volunteer community fundraisers throughout the UK.
