About the Project – “Solta o Jogo”
“Solta o Jogo” is a vibrant cultural competition and festival celebrating Brazilian heritage through Capoeira, music, dance, acrobatics, and a Brazilian arts & crafts fair. Hosted at Kingston University Townhouse, the event invites the community to participate in free performances, workshops, and exhibitions promoting cross-cultural understanding.

As part of this initiative, we are seeking a Graphic Designer to bring the visual identity of the project to life. From social media graphics to event branding and promotional materials, you will help ensure the festival’s visual storytelling is engaging, inclusive, and aligned with our mission. Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer will play a central role in shaping the visual communications for “Solta o Jogo” and other Quilombo UK initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Creative Development:

• Study design briefs and translate project goals into compelling visuals.

Design Production:

Legal Advisor (HealthTech)

At MiMIAT Health, we’re looking for a Legal & Compliance Advisor (volunteer) to help us strengthen MiMIAT’s regulatory foundation as we expand across clinical environments. You’ll be joining a purpose-driven, fast-growing HealthTech project that centers dignity, inclusion, and patient empowerment. As we enter our provider integration phase (in Kenya and Spain), your guidance will be essential to ensure we’re compliant with healthcare regulations, GDPR, and best practices around patient data. We’ll also be drafting and refining our Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, and provider-facing documentation. You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO, helping build the ethical and legal scaffolding of MiMIAT Health across Europe, Kenya, and beyond.

Web developers and designers wanted to support East London Waterworks Park in continuing to improve its website and digital infrastructure.

East London Waterworks Park is a volunteer-led charity that has won a 2024 New London Architecture award and raised £2m towards buying land from the Department for Education to transform the 14-acre Thames Water Depot on Lea Bridge Road on the border of Waltham Forest and Hackney, into a new biodiverse park with natural swimming ponds, forest schools and community spaces. 

We are looking for web developers and designers to contribute to our community-led working group who are working on coordinating content and infrastructure for the East London Waterworks Park website. 

There is opportunity to lead on projects across web development and UX and web design, and facilitate the direction of the working group.

The Comms Circle currently meets fortnightly on a Tuesday evening on Google Meet and spends voluntary time outside of the meeting completing agreed tasks remotely.

East Eagle Foundation

We help people with disabilities in marginalized and underserved communities in the war-affected areas of Democratic Republic of Congo, in order to fulfil their human rights and meet their basic needs.

East Eagle Foundation is committed to helping people marginalized and underserved communities, especially with disabilities in DR Congo, especially in war-affected areas, to fulfill their human rights and meet their basic needs. We work with government bodies, local communities and Disabled People Organizations to implement our projects. EEF has over 10 years of experience working in communities in conflict and post-conflict areas. Currently, EEF is active in seven provinces across the country (Kinshasa, Tanganyika, Kongo-Central, North Kivu, South Kivu, Tshopo and Katanga) and has created an ecosystem of disability rights advocates-the organization maintains a database of more than 2,500 people living with disabilities (members).

To meet the stated objectives identified above, we work in collaboration with the Democratic Republic of the Congo's Ministry of Social Affairs, Humanitarian Action & National Solidarity to work with government staff at the local and regional level and with health and services provider agency staff to ensure they are aware of the rights and abilities of people living with disabilities. We also increase their skills to provide supports that provide full inclusion. This is accomplished through training, educational materials, technical assistance, and the creation of a Community of Practice. Our second focus is to increase the advocacy skills of individuals living with disabilities. This is accomplished through advocacy training and training to create radio and social media content aimed at raising awareness of the rights and abilities of people living with disabilities.

Our fundraising event helpers have the exciting and varied role of helping at local fundraising events - such as cakes sales, barn dances, quiz nights – and everything in between!

You can expect us to

• make you feel welcome, included and respected in line with our values and behaviours
• support you in having a positive and impactful experience at Cats Protection
• cover agreed out-of-pocket expenses in line with our Expenses Policy
• provide you with access to learning, development and engagement opportunities

What we need from you

You’ll be:

· help set up and/or man stalls at events

· help on collection days like supermarket collections events or street collections

· help at fundraising events such as quiz nights, cake sales and dances

· promoting a professional image of Cats Protection at events

Time expectation

This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.

We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. However much time you can give, your contribution will help raise much needed funds to continue the work of Cats Protection.

PNH Support is celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year! Much has changed for patients living with the ultra-rare blood condition paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH) during this time including the development of a number of new treatments which have transformed many lives. Despite this, patients still face other continuing challenges, for example, dealing with fatigue and the psychological impact of living with a chronic disease. Importantly, patients also need their voices to be represented independent of healthcare professionals. As PNH Support can only continue to support the PNH community with the help of Trustees and volunteers, we are seeking new Trustees to become actively involved in our management and governance including the implementation of our recently developed 5 year strategy. Whether you are an experienced Trustee, or are considering your first appointment, wewould love to hear from you!

Our mission is to provide support through peer-to-peer contact, educational resources and advocacy.

The Board has recently undertaken a stakeholder engagement exercise to develop our new 5 year strategy to 2030 and new Trustees joining our Board will assist with executing and implementing this plan. Our Board will play a vital role in shaping the future of PNH Support, guiding our strategic direction, setting the budget, and making key decisions on significant initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Shaping and guiding PNH Support’s vision and future direction in line with the new 5 year strategy.
• Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to UK charity laws and fulfilling all reporting obligations.
• Financial Oversight: Monitoring the charity’s finances, safeguarding its assets, and managing risks effectively.
• Governance and Accountability: Promoting transparency, participating in decisionmaking, and overseeing management practices.
• Advocacy and Representation: Acting as an ambassador for the charity, promotingits mission and values to the wider community.
