Our Digital Boards and Digital ICS programmes provide leadership development support to NHS Boards and system leaders through bespoke board development sessions, peer learning events and written outputs. This role will involve working with programme leads and project partners to deliver a high volume of outputs every year.

Reporting to the Senior Social Media and Content Manager, the role’s primary responsibility is the creation and delivery of social media communications to the full range of National Theatre audiences in London, across the UK and around the world. Supporting the Marketing team, the Social Media and Content Coordinator will use knowledge of marketing principles to devise and deliver social media campaigns, coordinating creation, scheduling and community management of posts across the National Theatre’s social media channels. Through analysis of digital analytics, the role will have an opportunity to inform the optimisation of social media posts and content strategies.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Good written English and an understanding of writing effective marketing copy.
- Proven track record of social media channel management, and experience of analysing results.
- Good communication skills and proven experience of working within a team.
- Proven planning and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise work demands to meet deadlines.

THE ROLE
This Marketing and Communications Executive role is pivotal in inspiring our supporters to further engage with our cause. The role will also involve monitoring and evaluating the results of communications, identifying where insight and learning offers improvement. The Marketing & Communications Executive works closely with a number of stakeholders and the Marketing & Communications Manager and Marketing and Communications Senior Executive, to ensure our marketing and communication activities are developed and implemented in line with the agreed plan.
Alongside this you’ll also be working with colleagues and partners in our Conservation, Outcomes and Evidence team on delivering key marketing campaigns, partnerships, research grants, and policy and position statements. This role is 30 hours per week. Pro rata salary band will equate to £16,640 - £17, 472 per annum.
This is a Hybrid working role, where you’ll work part of your time at home and part of the time from our Head Office based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Our Hybrid Working Policy is flexible, and the frequency of time spent in your contracted office will vary across teams and job roles.

About the role
The Philanthropy Coordinator will primarily deliver key administration support for UK Youth’s Avon Tyrrell Capital Appeal; including developing donor communications, managing the project plan spreadsheet, maintaining accurate CRM data records, conducting prospect research and drafting funding requests. The event attracted many prospective donors with whom we are now in advanced positive discussions with on supporting the appeal, including our lead gift.

Role Purpose
Responsible for developing and delivering our Fundraising strategies, to secure appropriate funding to ensure the sustainable delivery of high-quality services by Home-Start Essex.
As Grants and Commissioning Manager you will use your experience and skills to identify and lead approaches to trusts, foundations, company foundations, statutory and other organisations securing funding from £5k-£800K+. You will create high quality approaches and deliver against financial targets, proactively supporting opportunities to source income to support children and families within Essex.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with high levels of motivation, and a skilled writer with the ability to work autonomously and build on the strong foundations we have in place.
Specific Responsibilities
· Lead on delivering key areas of the Grants and Commissioning strategy and operational plan to establish a strong and sustainable funding base and support our growth ambition by delivering income targets year on year.
· To write compelling applications/bids, cases for support and reports, working in collaboration with the Finance Manager, Family Services Manager and Systems and Information Officer and tailoring the information for the audience, ensuring submission within required deadlines.
· Develop first class relationships with the portfolio of existing and new trust funders, commissioning partners, delivering the highest levels of donor care, by always providing excellent stewardship and ensuring all reporting requirements are fully met.
· Lead on horizon scanning for trust funders, creating a prospecting programme for new opportunities to grow the portfolio. Utilising existing networks, specialist funding sites and referrals.
· Lead on researching prospects for commissioned services, seeking opportunities to work in partnership where appropriate through utilising existing networks and procurement/tender platforms.
· Develop processes to be used across Home-Start Essex, to codify our approach to grant management and ensure appropriate escalation points across the organisation.
· Work both independently and with colleagues to develop content for proposal to funders, ensuring information is accurate and compelling, to generate funding for restricted and core work.
· Maintain and develop Home-Start Essex’s case for support templates and support materials, liaising closely with the senior management team and marketing team and adhering to brand guidelines and key messaging.
· Manage the grant/trust fundraising programme via Beacon CRM, developing account management and stewardship activities and maintaining detailed records of all communications.
· Ensure that successful bids/tenders and grant/trust applications are handed over to the Family Services Manager and Area Lead Co-ordinators with clear milestones, outputs, outcomes and evaluation/reporting requirements via Implementation meetings.
Reporting
· To provide regular activity, income and pipeline updates to the CEO and Finance & Business Development Committee.
· Maintain accurate records of income and restrictions.
· Ensure that progress against KPIs and pipeline is effectively monitored and reported, flagging concerns and developments in good time.
· Ensuring pipeline development by maintaining the database, recording all stewardship actions and communications.
Other duties
· To help at fundraising events from time to time.
· To work closely with other members of the fundraising department to provide data and leads to help them maximise income for the charity.
· Manage resources for the Fundraising team and contribute to budgeting and preparation for financial audits/reviews.
· To develop an in-depth knowledge of HSE and understanding of HSE’s work.
· To keep up to date with best practice in fundraising and comply with relevant legislation.
· To act as an ambassador for the fundraising department and the charity both internally and externally.
· To undertake any other assignments within the fundraising department and wider organisation as required.
· To develop and implement short, medium and long-term strategic business and funding plans for Home-Start Essex, as part of the senior management team, subject to Board approval.
Marketing
Work with the Digital Communications & Marketing team to ensure consistent and co-ordinated approach to the promotion of Home-Start Essex in the following areas:
· Create and distribute press releases to ensure regular and positive promotion of Home-Start Essex.
· Coordinate and schedule key promotional messages to our supporters and the wider public.
· Ensure branding, language and content for all fundraising communications are in line with the Home-Start Essex’s strategy, vision and values.

What the role involves
Key responsibilities
1. Ensuring that there are regular training opportunities for both new starters and those requiring refresher sessions or updates when new functions or forms are released.
2. Running system training drop-in sessions to assist with queries / hear feedback, and relaying information from these to the Information Governance and IT manager.
3. Working with the Learning and Development Coordinator to establish an evaluation method and implement this to enable us to assess the effectiveness of each training session and using this to improve future delivery.
4. Produce effective training materials and guidance documents, and develop and maintain a training area on our case recording system, including the creation of dummy forms and files for new users to access and use as a training sandbox.
5. Producing and maintaining a catalogue of training resources, ensuring links to practice-based guidance are established and maintained.
6. Performing case recording system changes to forms and lists as directed by the Information Governance and IT Manager
7. Support the Data Reporting and System Support Lead with regards to user administration and user support at times of absence and increased need
8. Supporting with training on additional systems directed by the Information Governance and IT Manager, including on the efficient use of SharePoint and Teams
9. Developing training courses for various systems, using our LMS (currently Rise)
10. Acting at all times in line with safeguarding legislation and guidance in addition to Safer London’s practice guidelines and wider pan-London processes and protocols.
11. Undertaking any other duties as required and commensurate with the level of this post.

The Role:

2. Job Description
The Head of External Engagement is a key leadership post within the organisation. The role encompasses responsibility for the development and delivery of the organisation’s external activity, including profile, brand identity and stakeholder engagement (including the public), fundraising, and driving income generation in new areas, notably commercial partnerships. It also forms part of Sound and Music’s senior management team, who under the leadership of the Chief Executive are responsible for overseeing the organisation’s programme of activity, strategic development, external profile and a positive and productive organisational culture.
An experienced fundraiser and communicator, you will lead the external engagement team and support the delivery of its strategic and operational plans. 3. Key Responsibilities
Leadership and management
External leadership:
· Represent Sound and Music publicly, including through stakeholder and supporter events
· Work with the Head of Programmes to ensure Sound and Music’s advisory groups are meaningfully engaged

Internal leadership:
· Shared strategic responsibility and accountability for Sound and Music’s three core aims and their associated objectives, outcomes and outputs

Development and fundraising
· Develop and support the Chief Executive on the overall business and development strategy for the organisation to ensure we meet fundraising targets (£200k in 2024-25) for annual programmes and major projects
· Develop an ambitious fundraising programme which builds our supporter base and individual funding streams, including individuals, major gifts and public funders
· Drive income growth by identifying and negotiating commercial partnerships and contribute to the development of an enhanced commercial mindset across the organisation
· Develop and cultivate the existing trusts and foundations pipeline
· Prepare documents and reports for key funders including Arts Council England
· Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with key funders, commercial organisations and stakeholders and cultivate existing relationships within the organisation
· Establish new income streams, for example, by maximising the intellectual property created within the organisation

Strategy and planning
· Work with the Chief Executive and other senior management team members to monitor, evaluate and review KPIs, strategies and activity so as to maximise Sound and Music’s impact. This includes reporting and presenting to the Board and externally to help build engagement and relationships in the sector and with funders
· Assess the reputational, financial, delivery and other risks associated with current and new projects and partnerships
· Empower, model, support and encourage cross-team working to realise the full income generating possibilities of projects
Finance and governance
· Contribute to creating and monitoring the overall organisation budget
· Work closely with the Chief Executive, Head of Programmes and Finance Manager to formulate financial strategy against specified budget areas, and to ensure that the programme activity is sufficiently resourced, planned and delivered to budget

Responsible to Director of Services (subject to review)
Purpose of Post To support users of services through an education, training, and employability programme integrated with SCT’s wider services and enterprise offer, as well as partner opportunities in the wider community. Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity embedded in the local community, providing practical support and training to people affected by homelessness and addictions so they can rebuild their lives. We have a Recovery Hub in Shoreditch, where we run an abstinence-based residential recovery service (‘Acorn House’), and a Training and Development service, including tutor-led art, creative writing, digital skills, gardening, literacy, and woodwork. In addition, we run Housing First and Supported Housing services, both in East London. We also have eight charity shops and two social enterprises, which give us a presence in the wider East London community while generating valuable funds.

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with a track record of successful programme management, who is passionate about communications that drive change.
This position will report to the Head of Programmes and oversee Media Trust's thematic strategic communications programmes that strengthen the voices of charities. Our thematic programmes support cohorts of charities working in the same area, including equalities and social justice (our Stronger Voices programme) and environmental and climate issues (our Communicating Climate programme.)
In the context of rising levels of inequality, the media and policymakers need to hear from the people whose lives are most affected. In this role, you will support user-led organisations campaigning for systemic change to speak truth to power.
Our six-month strategic communications training programmes are designed to support charities and community organisations to amplify their voice, mobilise support and influence meaningful change. These programmes include in-person and virtual training, mentoring and support from industry experts, and tailored digital resources.
This role will directly manage our Stronger Voices programme, ensuring the smooth delivery of the programme, including managing our cohort of equalities organisations; overseeing the budget and timeline; managing our relationships with funders, trainers and partners; and impact evaluation and reporting.
You will also oversee our other thematic programmes (currently Communicating Climate). You will line manage the Project Manager of Communicating Climate and a Project Coordinator.
