The Head of Professional Learning & Development is responsible for leading the strategic design, development and continuous evolution of CoSRH’s professional learning and development portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, educational quality standards, digital innovation and commercial objectives.
Reporting to the Director of Learning, Product & Innovation, the role plays a critical leadership function in translating strategic priorities into high‑quality, scalable learning products that meet the needs of the sexual and reproductive healthcare workforce in the UK and internationally.
The role:
Learning and development sit at the heart of what the College does and the Head of Professional Learning & Development plays a pivotal role in delivering our existing portfolio of education and training products. Leading a small team of product specialists, you will support the development of the portfolio as well as improve the experience of those undertaking our market-leading training.
You will have a strong background in the provision of learning and development programmes, ideally in the healthcare sector, with demonstrable positive impact on growth and quality. You will have experience of developing and delivering online and face-to-face development products and projects. Ideally, you will also have experience of supporting learners outside the UK. As one of the few medical Colleges with multidisciplinary membership, you will ensure we meet the aspirations and expectations of those across the sexual and reproductive healthcare workforce, ensuring that the products and services, and their delivery, meet their needs and the needs of their patients.
We are looking for someone who takes cross-organisational collaboration seriously, using your excellent communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior members of the College.

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of Alzheimer's Research UK’s Supporter Experience strategy. This is a transformation programme and requires a leader who can not only lead a team but support an organisation to work collaboratively to enhance supporters trust, satisfaction and connection with their relationship with Alzheimer’s Research UK, recognising the importance of their role in helping to get to a cure.
The Head of Supporter Experience will lead two critical teams who all contribute to delivering our Supporter Experience; the Supporter Operations function which include both Supporter Relations (front end) and Fundraising Operations (back end) and the Supporter Engagement and Journeys team. But you’ll also work collaboratively to improve our Supporter Experience across the organisation – including those who give money, time, voice influence and deliver our mission (partners and researchers).
You will champion, design and oversee the implementation a personal, relevant and tailored experience – either through direct responsibilities or through influence, coaching and inspiring colleagues across the organisation to ensure that we are delivering our brand and supporter experience principles consistently across all supporter touch points and communications.
You’ll bring expertise in designing and delivering marketing personalisation and data automation through frameworks and tools meaning you’ll be data literate and experienced in implementing and embedding a martech approach. But most importantly you’ll be passionate about giving supporters a fantastic experience so that they stay longer, do more and feel like a valued part of getting to a cure for dementia.
You will be part of an Individual Giving and Legacy leadership team who will work collaboratively to deliver a joined-up mass income growth strategy, ensuring that we deliver a diverse product portfolio, exceptional supporter experience, and high performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Experience Leadership:
· Lead and own the Supporter Experience Transformation Programme, providing strategic leadership which enables the successful implementation and ongoing integration of our Supporter Experience strategy across the organisation to achieve its long-term goals.
· Develop a high performing Supporter Experience team, creating synergy and consistency of our supporter relations, operations and supporter engagement (journeys and loyalty comms).
· Coach and inspire colleges across the organisation, working collaboratively to embed supporter principles and journey frameworks to support the delivery of our organisation objectives within time, money and voice, leading for our holistic and joined up experience, moving us away from product / audience silos.
· Work with Fundraising Heads on how Supporter Experience can grow their income, and provide support with income modelling and budgets for long term income forecasts and annual ops planning cycles.
· Representing Supporter Experience on key programme boards and working groups to maximise our internal engagement and understanding of our Supporter Experience priorities and activity, but to also optimise our Supporter Experience by understanding the prioritise across the organisation.
Technical leadership:
· You will be responsible for ensuring Fundraising Operations are integrated, automated, compliant and efficient, not just within your own teams, but also across all of fundraising, marketing, communications and engagement.
· Always champion the supporter, working closely with our Head of Marketing Planning and Head of Insight and BI Teams to record, track and utilise supporter insights and Supporter Experience performance data to optimise our Supporter Experience Strategy.
· Responsible for ensuring we are utilising our martech tools and capabilities, and working closely with Digital, Data and Technology to ensure we deliver the most efficient and effective supporter journeys that feel personal, relevant and timely for our supporters.
· Responsible for keeping up to date on latest thinking, tools and technology for delivering effective Supporter Experiences.
Team management:
· Lead the Supporter Experience team, ensuring clarity of team purpose and vision, and driving high performance at all levels, and ensure the team is structured effectively for high performance and delivery of our growth plans.
· Directly manage your direct reports, developing an effective and joined up Supporter Experience Management team, ensuring all team members have clear, SMART objectives and development plans in place and routine performance reviews are undertaken.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
· Significant experience of martech tools and the design and implementation of supporter/customer journeys within these tools.
· Experience of successfully managing teams through change and transformation.
· Experience of driving a high-performance culture through clear accountabilities, objective setting, performance management, coaching, feedback, and development.
· Demonstrates high levels of knowledge and practical implementation of fundraising/marketing compliance.
· Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and motivate cross-functional teams.

· Experience of audience insight and segmentation principles and use of data and CRM systems to develop supporter journeys and measure and evaluate success.

Ways of working:
As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Salary: Circa £70,000 per annum, plus benefits.

GFS is seeking a strategic, proactive and values-led Communications Manager to lead the delivery of our communications function and elevate our profile across audiences and platforms. The role will support the shaping and delivery of a communications strategy that amplifies our voice, showcases our impact, and builds trust and engagement with our community. You’ll work across all areas of the organisation to coordinate messaging, manage risk and lead communications activity that reflects our feminist values and purpose.
The Communications Manager will oversee digital content, media relations, marketing and digital fundraising campaigns, working in close collaboration with the CEO, Leadership team and wider team. You will line-manage the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, ensuring high-quality content, storytelling and messaging are delivered consistently across all channels.

About the Opportunity
This important role within the Digital team works with a range of stakeholders across Soil Association, to deliver a high-quality user experience on www. soilassociation .org and other Soil Association websites.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will design high-quality user-focused content, using user insight, data and evidence to improve content quality, accessibility and effectiveness. You will develop and iterate the organisation’s content strategy and design and maintain content standards, governance and processes.
You will also provide best-practice guidance, training and hands-on support to colleagues, helping teams build confidence and skills. You will advocate for user-centred, evidence-based content, working to embed best practice approaches across the organisation.
Initially, the focus of the role will be supporting a large website replatforming project and content migration, implementing improved user experience, consistency, content quality and governance across our website content.
You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive and motivated team, in a flexible and welcoming working environment. The role is hybrid – one day a week in Bristol office, but remote options considered. This is a part time role (28 hours a week), and we can be flexible about how you fit your hours into the week.
About You
You’ll be passionate about user-centred design, with a strong background in content design. You’ll have practical experience of hands-on content design, and experience designing and iterating content strategy, standards and governance.
You will be confident collaborating with stakeholders with a range of digital skills, supporting them to maintain content quality and standards. You’ll have experience of effectively advocating for user-centred design and its adoption.
You will know how to do user research, using data and evidence to create high-quality user-facing content. Experience of working in the charity or not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.

As a senior leader within the team, the Membership Engagement Manager will play a key role in delivering AMiE’s mission and supporting the education of mathematics across the sector.
The Association for Mathematics in Education (AMiE) supports anyone involved in mathematics education through a wide range of resources, publications, CPD opportunities and events. We are seeking an Information Security Manager to shape how our information security is built into a new environment from the outset, rather than retrofitted later. Whilst good progress has already been made in our cyber security and information governance provision across the organisation, this exciting, new role will take the next step in managing and developing a more structured, consistent, and visible approach, seeking to embed good practice and build confidence.
This is not a purely technical or policy focused role. It will be responsible for ensuring our systems and information are safe, resilient, and used responsibly, helping our teams make secure choices in their day-to-day work, and educating staff to understand what this means in practice. The role will play an integral role in ensuring everything we do, and deliver, is secure by default and will ensure a practical, solutions focused approach to risk, helping teams move forward with confidence, building a positive security culture across the organisation.
This is a key role at an important point for the organisation. It will make a tangible impact across the work of Phyllis Tuckwell, both clinically and operationally.
The role will operate under the strategic direction of the Director of IT, Estates and Digital Transformation, while acting as the organisation’s recognised subject matter expert in cyber security and information security. They will be the trusted authority in this area, supporting teams across the organisation and providing credible assurance to senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities of the Information Security Manager will include:
- Leading our approach to cyber security, risk management, and incident response
- Developing and improving our information security management system, aligned to standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus and NHS DSPT
- Identifying and managing risks across systems, processes, and suppliers
- Supporting teams to understand and apply good security practice in real-world situations
- Leading response to any cyber or data-related incidents, ensuring an appropriate and prompt response with a learning mindset
- Working with senior colleagues, including the SIRO and Caldicott Guardian, to provide assurance and oversight
- Building awareness and confidence across the organisation through training and engagement
- Ensuring security is built into new systems, projects, and supplier relationships from the outset
- Develop and deliver engaging information security training and awareness campaigns
- Promote a positive, non-blame culture where people feel confident to report incidents or concerns
- Provide practical advice that helps teams make secure choices in day-to-day work
- Act as a visible and approachable subject matter expert across the organisation
About the candidate
Candidates should possess a balanced skillset across technical cyber security and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) combined with the ability to translate this into clear, organisation-wide governance and assurance. They will be comfortable with detail, whilst also providing proportionate, practical oversight at an organisational level. They should demonstrate:
- Strong technical grounding in cyber security including networks, endpoints, identity, vulnerabilities, and incident response
- Experience in applying that knowledge to real world risk management, not just theoretical controls
- Good understanding of governance, assurance, and security frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001, and NHS DSPT
- Ability to move comfortably between technical detail and clear, plain-English communication for non-technical audiences
- Experience in providing assurance to senior stakeholders such as risk reporting, audit, or governance forums
- An enabling, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance risk, with the need to get things done
- Strong focus on behaviour and culture, not just controls and policy
- Able to challenge constructively while helping teams find workable solutions
- Comfortable influencing across teams and building trusted relationships
Relevant qualifications or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are helpful.
Whilst a hospice background is not required, applicants should understand the importance of working in a people-focused, regulated environment.
