Job description

St John’s College, one of the largest Colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a Donor Relations Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the Development Office’s team where you will play a central fundraising role in support of the College’s core strategic aims.

Reporting to the Deputy Development Director, you will have responsibility for implementing and developing an effective donor stewardship strategy which is key to the successful Development Programme as well as providing excellent administrative and fundraising support.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, will possess excellent communication skills, written and oral, and will have previous experience of working within a development or marketing environment. A good working knowledge of IT and some database experience is essential.
