Job description

Right to Succeed is a fast-growing national charity, working to deliver place-based and educational change in the most disadvantaged communities. Together, alongside their local and national partners, Right to Succeed delivers coordinated, impactful programs aimed at improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people, their families, and wider communities.

We are excited to be looking for an inspiring Programme Director to strategically oversee and manage a 12-month discovery process in Norfolk. Working in partnership with and funded by the Youth Endowment Foundation, the Discovery process will focus on co-designing collective solutions with the community to address issues that are negatively impacting young people’s outcomes within their local area. Through the adoption of a research-informed approach, the aim is to establish a  deep understanding of the local needs and assets, to ascertain where the conditions below are already in place, and to work alongside local stakeholders to create them where further development is required. At the end of the Discovery phase, a report, including a key set of recommendations and prospective delivery plan will be provided to the funders, local commissioners, and trustees of Right to Succeed, enabling all stakeholders to make key decisions in relation to the project moving into the full delivery phase.

To apply for this position, please send a CV and supporting statement via our advert on CharityJob by midnight on 22nd September 2021.  Your supporting statement must not exceed 2 pages and should cover your motivation for applying for the role and how your skills and experience meet the essential criteria outlined in the Person Specification. We are scheduling interviews as applications are received, therefore an early application is recommended.
