• Facilitating the local induction and training of new staff to support new starters to feel welcomed, achieve compliance, and get up to speed in their roles.

Teaching Resources at Unifrog

One of the most important parts of Unifrog is a searchable library of hundreds of teaching resources, covering careers guidance, progression, SEL, and PSHE. 

Each week the lessons are used by tens of thousands of teachers in the UK and around the world. 

We aim for our lessons to be plug-and-play, to be truly educational, to make it easy for schools to make the most of the Unifrog platform, and to be fun even when they deal with difficult subjects. We always try to make the learning as active as possible.

In December 2023, we launched our Courses tool. Students can browse and take short online courses in a range of engaging and challenging topic areas, many of which are created in partnership with universities and employers.

We create courses that fit into five main strands:

• ‘Careers in…’ courses introduce students to a career sector and spotlight a few specific roles within the sector, e.g. ‘Careers in art’. 

• University subject tasters give students an idea of what studying a particular university subject is like, e.g. ‘The complicated reality of criminology’.

• Life skills courses help students prepare for life after school/college, e.g. ‘Preparing for the workplace’.

• Virtual work experience courses combine a series of work-based tasks and live webinars with an employer, e.g. ‘Virtual work experience with the BBC’.

• Teacher/counselor courses help staff members in various roles get the most out of the Unifrog platform.

The role and responsibilities

As Teaching Resources Creator, your main focus will be creating and editing teaching resources and courses. Topics will include:

• Producing content in line with our teaching and learning standards and Resource Library handbook

You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a minimum of 3 years teaching experience across at least two key stages from KS3-5.

In the Teaching Resources team, we commonly brainstorm new ideas as a group, share insights from our own teaching experiences, provide feedback on other team members’ work, and get feedback from teachers and students at our partner schools.

Field Studies Council Epping Forest is situated in the heart of Epping Forest, an area of around 2,400 hectares of wood-pasture stretching from Manor Park in East London to just north of Epping in Essex.

Two thirds of the Forest have been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). About the opportunity

The London Programme Coordinator will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to seven partner schools, attending and coordinating weekly tutoring sessions, developing relationships with pupils, school staff and volunteer tutors and collecting data for monitoring and evaluation purposes. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring sessions to ensure effective and impactful programme delivery.

Duties and responsibilities 

• Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage and effectively communicate with all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; leading weekly face to face and online tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance. 
• Responsible for overseeing the quality of both face to face and online tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery. 
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers. 
• Update and maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and end of programme surveys.

Qualifications and experience criteria:

• Experience working with volunteers and/or young people

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to support the procurement function within Harris Federation. This role is essential in ensuring that all goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with public sector procurement regulations and institutional policies.

You will play a key role in supporting the Procurement Team by ensuring timely delivery of resources and services, providing administrative support to the Team and having responsibility for procurement processes and policies.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Procurement processes and files

• To maintain and have responsibility for the Procurement Team’s eFiling system/SharePoint folders.
• Responsibility for overseeing the registration of new suppliers onto the Procurement Team’s e-tendering portal.
• To issue, collate and consolidate information requests from stakeholders at various levels.
• Requisition and reconciliation of purchase orders with invoices and liaise with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• To manage low level categories where appropriate.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement reports and spend analysis for the Procurement Team and Senior Leadership.

Administration and diary management

• To provide administrative support to the Procurement Team; team calendar management, scanning, shredding, downloading and filing documents.

• To deal with day-to-day enquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.

Purpose of the role:

The Junior Salesforce Administrator role supports the effective use and ongoing development of the Churchill Fellowship’s Salesforce CRM platform and related applications. Working closely with the Salesforce Team and other internal teams, you will ensure our data remains accurate and accessible, help to improve business processes, and provides user support and training across the organisation. The Project for the Registration of Children as British Citizens (PRCBC) is seeking to recruit a part-time self-motivating and committed Administrator. The postholder will be at the core of PRCBC and involved in all aspects of PRCBC’s work. This post will be based at our office in Hammersmith, London.

About PRCBC

Founded in 2012, PRCBC is a small but dynamic charity with a strong national reputation for its unwavering commitment to children and young people with complex British citizenship rights. Now in its thirteenth year, PRCBC has consistently delivered expert advice, assistance, and representation to children, young people and their representatives, alongside leading on strategic litigation and test cases to challenge legal and practical barriers to citizenship. About the Role

The position is permanent and part-time. It is for 3 days per week, for the right candidate. The postholder must be available to work one Saturday a month. A normal working week is 21 hours (3 days per week) to be worked between 09:30am to 5:30pm weekdays. There may be an opportunity to work from home once a week after probationary period.

The main tasks of the role include: maintaining effective communication and correspondence with our vulnerable young clients and booking appointments; overseeing and updating our case management system; administrative financial work, costs billing and creating invoices; and general administrative duties including filing, scanning, shredding, archiving, photocopying, creating e-bundles, preparing and taking post to the post office, completing forms, and requesting subject access disclosure and other information from third parties.

The role also requires the administrator to support, where necessary, the day-to-day administrative management of the office and PRCBC operations. This includes liaising with external stakeholders across a range of areas such as IT support and building management; supporting the maintenance and updating of operational procedures and practices; and completing ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as office supply procurement, as required.

To work effectively at PRCBC, it is necessary for the administrator to closely follow instructions, retain a professional approach throughout, and be highly focused and well organised, with excellent attention to detail.

Due to the varied nature of PRCBC’s work, the administrator participates in many aspects of the management, administrative and legal process, and interacts with a wide range of individuals, from solicitors and barristers to social workers and foster parents, alongside frequently vulnerable young clients and their carers. The administrator is therefore expected to manage a varied and evolving workload. We are seeking a new Finance and Administration Officer following the upcoming retirement of a long-serving team member. A key member of the SLA central office team, the Finance and Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations and providing essential administrative support for our membership. In addition to administration support, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, book-keeping and effective day-to-day financial operations, producing financial reports using XERO and our CRM.

You will be experienced in financial and administration operations of a charity or similar , with an AAT qualification or matching worked experience. Familiarity with XERO will be an advantage. You will be able to bring understanding of cashflow and financial analysis of figure, working with accountants as required.

You will also have excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively with all stakeholders from our members, to funders to suppliers. You will be determined and have an excellent eye for financial and administrative detail. Your duties will include general administration and:

Financial operations and record-keeping

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records of all SLA accounts and petty cash; book-keeping
• Process and record all incoming payments, including foreign cheques (into bank account)
• Monitor cashflow and expenditure, keeping track of spending
• Pay invoices upon approval and ensure timely monthly payments (e.g. pensions, HMRC)

Youth Engagement Officer  

Location: Hybrid. Expected to be in our London office in Victoria at least one day per week. You can be remote every other day or come into the office. Your office days are flexible and can be agreed with your manager, other than for monthly team days where you must be in person. Some nationwide travel expected for Youth Steering Group training days, events and conferences. After passing probation, up to six weeks ‘super remote’ working per year, where you can work anywhere in the world as long as you’re online for four hours of the UK workday.

Holidays: 38 days per year, including our 3-day winter shut down and eight flexible bank holidays.

Support our Youth Steering Group to feel safe and confident as they co-lead our Alliance and create change

Our Youth Steering Group is made up of 25 brilliant young people, aged 14-24, who draw on their lived experience of the different barriers to accessing a fair education, to campaign for change. You will support the young people to lead their own campaign activity, write their monthly Youth Bulletin and engage directly with policy makers. You will also help the group to participate in FEA decision making, support the design and facilitation of their monthly meetings and training days, help them make progress against their personal development plans. This role will include working directly with young people, session planning and facilitation, policy research and managing logistics.

Ensure the Fair Education Youth Summit is a success and remains truly youth-led  

Our Youth Steering Group design and run the annual Fair Education Youth Summit. The event is led by young people for young people and brings together young changemakers from across our membership and the wider education and youth sectors to develop their youth leadership skills, collaborate on campaigns, and engage directly with decision makers. You will support the young people to design sessions, secure speakers, embed past feedback and plan the event structure. You will also support with the event logistics, guestlist management, participant communications and collecting attendee feedback.

Support our members to improve their youth engagement practice  

Our Youth Engagement Working Group supports FEA members and other sector organsiations to increase and improve their own youth engagement practice. You will support the management of logistics, promote the workshops, and communicate with working group members. You will also support the facilitation of the workshops and ensure the attendee data and feedback is correctly logged and actioned. The critical responsibilities of this role are described above. They may be subject to reasonable changes from time to time in line with business need and the decisions of the youth leaders we support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to laboratory-based staff and scientific teams
• Act as the first point of contact for internal queries, resolving them efficiently
• Organise internal and external events, including seminars and lab meetings
• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries
• Manage expense claims and complex reimbursement cases
• Support recruitment processes and onboarding for new staff

About YouEssential:

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in a high-level administrative role, ideally in a research or lab environment
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
• Highly organised, adaptable, and able to prioritise effectively
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Desirable:

• Experience in an academic or research setting
• Diary management experience
