Routes & Networks Officer, Belfast

£24,446 per annum

37.5 hours per week – based in Belfast

This is an exciting role which will involve the design, delivery and promotion of cycling and walking routes and placemaking initiatives in Northern Ireland. Supported by the Routes & Networks Manager, the Routes & Networks Officer will work will as part of the Team on exciting projects that will include a creative element, and that will embrace innovative thinking. The role will involve stakeholder and public engagement, so a positive and pragmatic outlook will be a strong asset for successful delivery of projects.

The Ideal candidate will have a creative approach to technical work, and will have experience in either urban design, transport modelling, Geographical Information Systems or another demonstrably related or innovative field. Your written and verbal communication skills will be excellent. You will have the ability to research and produce reports, to build and maintain effective working relationships, and will have strong IT literacy. You will also have an understanding of the sustainable transport agenda in the UK and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.  

Closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 9am on Wednesday 2 October 2019. Interviews are anticipated week commencing 14 October 2019.
