South East London Mind’s IPS Employment Service helps people with mental health needs back into work. We aim to increase the number of people moving into paid employment from Community Mental Health Teams. 

We are currently seeking five permanent IPS Employment Specialists in Greenwich, and one based in Bromley, to work as part of the Community Mental Health Teams and Mental Health Hub. You will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach (for which training will be given).

You will need the ability to motivate and build relationships with participants, strong organisational skills, the confidence to communicate and engage with a range of employers, and a fundamental belief that anyone with a mental health condition can work.

• Employer Engagement and Relationship Building: Ability to initiate and develop relationships with a variety of individuals and be able to engage employers using a variety of methods such as via telephone, online platforms or face-to-face in the community. 
• Accuracy and Record Management: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely recording of case notes and data, essential for monitoring progress and achieving targets. 
• Collaboration: The ability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team, forging connections and enhancing the overall care experience for participants. 
• Resilience and Advocacy: The determination to overcome setbacks, find solutions, and continue advocating for participants’, even in the face of challenges. 
• Innovation: Bringing fresh ideas to the table, exploring creative ways to break down employment barriers, and promoting inclusive practices within the workplace.

Fundraising Officer – 4‑day week, hybrid, high‑impact charity based in Oxford

If you want a fundraising role where you can see the direct impact of every partnership, pitch and campaign this could be the right move.

About the role:
We’re looking for a Fundraising Officer to join Aspire’s small, agile and supportive Fundraising & Communications team. You’ll be an all‑round fundraiser, working across corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and community, events and individual giving. You’ll help grow and diversify our voluntary income so that more people across Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley can move out of homelessness, poverty and long‑term unemployment into secure work and housing. 

This is a hands‑on role with real variety: one week you might be crafting a pitch for a new corporate partner, the next you could be pulling together a trust report, planning a community fundraising event or writing supporter communications. • Helping to grow and steward corporate partnerships across Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley, from prospect research and pitches to volunteering and sponsorship.

About you:

You don’t need to tick every box, but you will bring:

• Experience in at least one of: corporate fundraising, trusts and foundations, community/events or individual giving, plus enthusiasm to grow across all three. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your tone for different audiences. 
• Confidence building and managing relationships with supporters, customers or partners. 
• Good organisational skills and comfort working to deadlines and targets. 
• A genuine commitment to tackling homelessness, poverty and disadvantage, and alignment with Aspire’s values. 

Experience with Salesforce or AI tools would be helpful, but we’re more interested in your mindset: curious, proactive, organised and keen to learn.

• A 4‑day working week (0.8 FTE). 
• Salary: £29,234 - £35,305 per annum (FTE), depending on experience (0.8 = £23,387 - £28,244) .

As the Operations Support Coordinator at SSAFA’s Glasgow’s Helping Heroes, you will ensure the smooth day to day running of the service while supporting delivery of projects for serving Armed Forces personnel, veterans and their families across Glasgow.

You will act as a first point of contact for beneficiaries and partner organisations. You will provide a welcoming and responsive service, manage enquiries, coordinate appointments and maintain accurate records. You will direct individuals to the most appropriate support and use effective triage to ensure timely access to services.

You will provide consistent administrative support across the team. You will coordinate office activity, manage data and support reporting requirements. You will maintain accurate client records across systems and ensure information is handled in line with policy and data protection standards.

You will support delivery of projects, events and activities that benefit the Armed Forces community. You will work with colleagues and partners to plan and deliver these effectively. You will also support social media and communications activity, helping to produce clear and accessible content that raises awareness of available services.

You will work closely with colleagues across Glasgow’s Helping Heroes and the wider SSAFA network to support a person centred approach. You will help improve outcomes by ensuring people access the right support at the right time.

About the team

GHH, based at the Pearce Institute in Govan and delivered in partnership with SSAFA and Glasgow City Council, provides trusted support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Our trauma‑informed, holistic approach offers wraparound assistance that addresses housing needs alongside wider wellbeing challenges, helping beneficiaries build resilience and sustain long‑term housing solutions.

The service operates a gateway model, giving the Armed Forces community a single point of contact for housing, financial, employability and wider support.

You’ll be part of a highly collaborative network, working closely with local and national partners such as Citizens Advice Scotland, Veterans Housing Scotland, Erskine, Scottish Veterans Residences, Defence Medical Welfare Services, Homeless Casework Teams and Homeless Network Scotland. The role also involves attending stakeholder events that may occasionally fall outside of standard office hours.  

About you

Experience supporting people with complex needs is desirable, alongside knowledge of statutory and voluntary services in Scotland. Understanding the Armed Forces community is essential, and knowledge of veterans’ services is beneficial.

You will work collaboratively, support others and help achieve positive outcomes. You will stay calm, resilient and professional in challenging situations. You will commit to learning, travel locally and work flexibly, including some evenings. Disclosure Scotland check will be required for this role. You will also contribute to service improvement and support effective coordination of activities.

About Working Well Trust

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are expanding our team of IPS Employment Advisors in our IPS service in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. You will be based in one of NHS mental health treatment teams in Bethnal Green, Isle of Dogs or Stepney and Wapping areas, working 35 hours per week. This IPS services at Working Well Trust has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to become comfortable in approaching employers, and showcase the advantages of our service in order to work with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.

What you’ll be doing

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.

You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.  

You will spend up to 65% of your week working in the community of Tower Hamlets to provide localised support to residents of the Borough.

You will also be working to contract targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service. 

What you’ll need

Experience in employment support is not essential. We are looking for someone who brings:

• A genuine desire to support people into meaningful employment.
• Commitment to person-centred work and either experience of or enthusiasm to learn the IPS approach.
• Confidence engaging with employers and promoting the benefits of our service.

This exciting role links our 350+ community organisations that receive food from us — known as our Community Food Members (CFMs) — with our thriving and fast-paced food operation. As the Food & Membership Operations Coordinator, you will work across the charity with the Food, Membership and Warehouse Teams, as well as our large and diverse volunteer community, to ensure CFM organisations receive a smooth, reliable and high-quality service each week.

The purpose of this role is to strengthen the connection between food supply, warehouse capacity and member demand. Acting as a key cross-functional coordinator, you will help ensure that surplus food flows efficiently into the organisation and out to the communities who need it. You will support both food-sourcing and membership functions, helping resolve issues quickly, improving communication, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring operational plans are aligned across teams.

Reporting to the Food Manager, with a dotted line to the Membership Manager, this role is central to improving collaboration across the organisation and ensuring FareShare South West delivers a safe, efficient and impactful service to frontline community organisations across the region.

1) Cross-Functional Coordination

• Support daily and weekly communication between Food, Membership and Operations regarding supply and membership demand 
• Maintain awareness of the food pipeline, providing timely updates on incoming supply, changes, restraints, gluts or shortages.
• Assist the Food Manager and Membership Managers with aligning food allocation planning to member needs, operational realities and transport schedules.
• Help coordinate solutions to operational challenges (e.g., quality issues, storage constraints, cancellations, short-dated stock).

2) Food Sourcing Support

• Support the Food Manager with local food sourcing activity, particularly in administration, supplier updates and basic relationship maintenance.
• Be a point of contact for day-to-day supplier communication, ensuring timely responses and accurate information flow
• Help maintain accurate sourcing records and documentation, including volumes, quality notes and engagement history.
• Support awareness-raising activities about FSSW’s surplus redistribution capability (e.g., events, promotional updates).
• Assist with capturing local supply opportunities and best practice shared through the FareShare Network and escalating them to the Food Manager.
• Help coordinate truck logistics schedules in partnership with Operations ensuring incoming food is aligned with capacity.
• Assist with food safety and compliance tasks related to local sourcing (e.g., documentation updates, supplier follow-up, recall administration) under direction from the Food Manager.

3) Member Support & Service Delivery

• Support member onboarding, offboarding, account updates, queries, complaints and general membership administration.
• Lead on resolving daily member-facing issues, including food quality concerns and product recalls, escalating where appropriate.
• Support food allocation writing, ensuring allocations reflect supply, need and warehouse capacity.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date member information, including delivery instructions, profiles and seasonal variations.
• Support membership-related campaigns, events and targeted projects (e.g., HAF, bolt-on models, piloted services).
• Communicate supply changes, special offers and gluts/shortages clearly to members in coordination with relevant teams.

4) Data, CRM & Reporting

• Maintain accurate member records in Salesforce and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Support reporting for funders, SLT and internal operational updates, including supply, allocations, member engagement and service metrics.
• Track and summarise recurring issues (e.g., cancellations, quality problems, demand spikes) to support decision-making.
• Contribute to KPI monitoring across both Membership and Food functions.

5) Compliance, Food Safety & Member Standards

• Operate in accordance with the FareShare Food Safety Manual and maintain required training.
• Support documentation for community food member (CFM) compliance, including kitchen checks, food safety standards and follow-up actions.
• Conduct in-person compliance visits with member organisations as required.
• Provide administrative support for product recalls, safety notices and compliance related communication.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

• Experience or knowledge working in an operational, coordination or customer/member support role
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence working with data and digital systems
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to coordinate across teams and externally

Desirable Criteria

About the role

As a Children’s Domestic Violence Advocate (CHIDVA), you will safeguard and support children and young people affected by domestic abuse across the Continuum of Need, including Child Protection. You will deliver child-centred 1:1 and group interventions, complete child-focused risk assessments and safety plans, and ensure children and young people’s voices shape the support they receive. Working with partner agencies (including through MARAC), you will contribute to coordinated responses that improve safety, wellbeing and long-term resilience.

Essential 

• SafeLives CHIDVA qualification (or working towards) and/or a relevant children and young people qualification (or working towards).

• Experience supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse, trauma or adversity.

• Experience managing a caseload and delivering consistent, high-quality support to children, young people and families.

• Experience working in multi-agency settings (e.g., social care, education, health, criminal justice).

• Strong safeguarding knowledge (including Children Acts 1989/2004 and Domestic Abuse Act 2021) and confidence escalating concerns.

• Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with children/young people and professionals, adapting to age and need.

• Strong record-keeping skills and a commitment to confidentiality and data protection.

• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, including anti-racist and intersectional practice.

Desirable 

• Women’s Aid or Respect accredited training (e.g., DAPA) and/or Paladin Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworker (ISAC).

• Level 4 Diploma in Domestic Abuse; DASH risk assessment; trauma-informed care training.

• Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs (including self-harm or suicidal ideation) and knowledge of referral pathways.

• Knowledge of culturally specific forms of abuse and barriers to access for ethnic minority and migrant survivors (e.g., HBV, FGM).

Service Manager – Women’s Recovery Refuge

About the service

Safenet delivers specialist services across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, supporting adults and children affected by domestic abuse through safe accommodation, community services, recovery support and prevention work.

This role is based at Jane’s Place which provides 24‑hour accommodation and specialist support for women who are experiencing domestic abuse and who want to address substance use, mental ill‑health, or other complex needs as part of their recovery journey.

At Jane’s Place, many of the women we support have been excluded elsewhere. We don’t see “complexity” as a problem to manage, but as a response to trauma – and recovery as something that happens in healthy relationships, community, safety and hope.

This service sits at the intersection of domestic abuse, addiction recovery and mental health, and we are proud to offer a psychologically informed, trauma‑responsive environment where women are supported to rebuild their lives on their own terms.

About the role

As Service Manager, you will lead and be accountable for the refuge and lead a skilled, compassionate team delivering round‑the‑clock support to women and their children.

You will be a values‑led leader who understands recovery, trauma and risk, and who can balance clarity and accountability with warmth, curiosity and care.

You will:

• Lead and support a multidisciplinary refuge team working with women affected by domestic abuse, substance misuse and mental ill‑health
• Create a culture of psychological safety, reflective practice and trauma‑informed care
• Oversee the safe delivery of a 24‑hour residential service, including participation in an on‑call rota
• Ensure high standards of safeguarding, risk management, and housing management
• Work in partnership with recovery services, mental health providers, criminal justice partners and local authorities
• Support staff to hold hopeful, recovery‑focused relationships with women, even where progress is non‑linear
• Use lived experience insights, feedback and data to continually shape and improve the service

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who believes deeply in capacity for change and recovery – even in the most challenging circumstances.
