In this role, you will:

• deliver high quality Peer Mediation Train the Trainer courses for adults
• support the development of Peer Mediation practice in secondary and specialist school settings
• develop opportunities for children and young people to gain accreditation for their work as Peer Mediators
• support the development and sharing of high-quality Peer Mediation resources
• play an active role in other aspects of the peace education team’s work, creating new content and resources for educators, and networking to promote peace education.

Contract: Fixed-term contract for one year with the possibility of extension, subject to funding.

Hours: Part-time, up to 28 hours per week, worked across four days.

High Trees is seeking a Youth Employment Support Service Coordinator for our Build Your Future programme. Build Your Future is a targeted youth employment project supporting young people aged 16–24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). The project provides holistic, person-centred support combining outreach and engagement, pastoral support, employability skills development and progression into education, training or work.

The project is primarily delivered in-house by High Trees, working in partnership with other local delivery partners. Build Your Future focuses on young people facing multiple barriers, including care-experienced young people, migrants and refugees, young people with SEND, and those experiencing social or economic exclusion.

The Build Your Future Project Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring the effective day-to-day delivery of the project. Job Purpose:

The Trusts and Foundations Coordinator is an integral part of the Philanthropy team, responsible for managing a large portfolio of Trust and Foundation (T&F) supporters. The Trusts and Foundations Coordinator provides excellent relationship management, creating first-class donor journeys for their portfolio based on donors’ individual motivations and interests. They will ensure stewardship plans are in place for their top tier of T&F donors, and that they meet any specific proposal/reporting requirements for the donors they manage. 

The primary aspect of the role is the management of a portfolio of T&Fs, ensuring their continued support of MSF, with a focus on delivering stable and increased income for MSF’s work.

• Experience in relationship management, marketing or sales (preference for fundraising experience) 
• Excellent and engaging written communication skills and ability to adapt style to suit a wide range of supporters

Family Action & the Role’s Impact: 

We are seeking a Peer Mentoring Coordinator to develop and manage our new LGBTQ+ Peer Mentoring Programme, training and supporting Project Indigo members to become mentors in the local community.

Project Indigo is the LGBTQ+ youth service based at Off Centre at Family Action. It is open to anyone aged 16-25 who identifies as LGBTQ+ or is exploring their sexuality or gender identity. Our weekly youth group is a safe, supportive space for LGBTQ+ young people to meet each other and participate in workshops and activities. In addition to the youth group, Project Indigo offers 1-to-1 support and advice sessions with the Project Lead. The group aims to support young people to build links with the local LGBTQ+ community, build meaningful relationships and get support around issues that are impacting them. Project Indigo maintains a youth-led and person-centred approach, with this role being developed in consultation with our members to support them in accessing training and support to do community-focused work. The Peer Mentoring Coordinator’s role will be to develop a new Peer Mentoring Programme, supporting older Project Indigo members to train as mentors and deliver mentoring sessions with younger LGBTQ+ people in the local community.

Off Centre is a service that provides a range of targeted mental health focused support services to young people aged 16 to 25 who reside/are registered with a City and Hackney GP. These include: individual, counselling and psychotherapy, individual and group art psychotherapy, key-work support, out of hours drop-in service on Thursday evenings; targeted provision for children and young people of African, Caribbean and mixed heritage (ACH); and an Information and Advice provision.

The role

As the Peer Mentoring Coordinator, you will develop and lead Project Indigo’s Peer Mentoring Programme. Central to the role will be understanding young mentors’ needs and goals, and providing high quality supervisory support throughout the training and mentoring process. You will further develop the Mentoring programme, consulting with relevant organisations, liaising with partners, and keeping accurate records to monitor progress for administrative and evaluative purposes.

This role will enrich Project Indigo’s holistic offer by providing young people with the opportunity to access training, qualifications and work experience while receiving high quality support tailored to their needs. • The Newcastle Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.

The Role

Nottingham Contemporary is a leading centre of contemporary art in Europe, and among the largest spaces of its kind in the UK. We have an exciting vacancy for a Development Coordinator to join our dynamic and supportive Development team, to assist with securing funding for the future of our organisation. As Development Coordinator, you will support the Senior Development Manager and Director to achieve our ambitious fundraising strategy. You will be a pivotal member of the team, undertaking tasks across administration, research, project and events management, and high-level writing.

Your main accountabilities will include:

• Providing administrative oversight of key areas related to gaining income from a wide range of sources, including but not limited to trusts and foundations, individual donors, and corporate giving (including from commercial galleries).

• Researching, drafting and preparing timely project and funding report templates and reports.

• Supporting the Director and Senior Development Manager in strategically cultivating and stewarding individual donors, as well as corporate and strategic partners.

• Undertaking prospect research, including due diligence of individual donors, researching opportunities for funding through Trusts and Foundations, and identifying relevant local and national government grant schemes.

• Supporting the planning, drafting and submission of grant applications and funding reports, with the aim of leading on select applications and reports over time.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in fundraising for a renowned arts organisation, and we’re looking for someone who is proactive and enthusiastic for the challenge! Your ability to be adaptable, calm, and to manage a busy workload will be vital when administering bids, preparing reports, and researching donors and funding opportunities. Sculpt is a UK-based charity with over 20 years’ experience, who support young people to shape their own future. Our vision is that we live in a society where young people can be fulfilled through their education, work and participation in wider society. We run a range of bespoke programmes that work directly with young people in conjunction with partners - schools, careers hubs, employers, local government and further/higher education. 1. What does the role involve? 

Sculpt UK is hiring a youth programme officer who would deliver our direct intervention work with young people with a focus on skills building around employment through our holistic work experience programmes. Approximately 75% of our work involves working with young people who have SEND or who are at risk of becoming NEET (not in employment, education or training).

To provide management support and advice to Group Facilitators, Volunteers, Social Work Students to help them develop their role in providing support to service users.

You will bring a strong understanding of the needs, perceptions and engagement barriers faced by African, Caribbean and Arabic-speaking communities experiencing mental health difficulties, including those who may be disengaged from services. You will have experience working directly with these communities, using co-production approaches that respect cultural needs and enable meaningful involvement and feedback. You will be confident managing services within budget, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion, and representing the organisation positively at external events through presentations and promotional activity. You will have excellent knowledge of mental health conditions, including signs, symptoms and treatments, with the ability to assess deteriorating mental health and take appropriate action. A strong working knowledge of housing, community care, mental health, health and safety, and welfare benefits legislation is essential, alongside the ability to use computer systems to produce accurate reports and monitor the quality of staff record-keeping to a high standard.

We are looking for a Foster Scheme Coordinator to coordinate Battersea’s London Foster Scheme, working in conjunction with Operations and Clinic in sourcing suitable temporary homes for those dogs in our London site requiring foster and supporting both foster carers and dogs during their time away from Battersea.
The Foster Scheme Coordinator will maximise further growth impact and development of the Foster Scheme and the engagement and retention of our Foster Carers through the implementation of the Volunteering and Fostering strategy for Battersea.
They will provide guidance and support to existing and potential Foster Carers including managing their expectations.
Finally, they will ensure that all the behavioural and medical needs of foster dogs are met whilst on foster, sometimes dealing with contentious issues in a professional and sensitive manner.

About the Project

The Open Kitchen is a community-led initiative tackling food poverty and social isolation across the UK. Our kitchens, based in Hounslow (London), Nottingham, and Manchester, provide free, hot, and nutritious meals to individuals and families affected by homelessness, low income, or displacement as refugees.

Operating seven days a week, the Open Kitchen offers more than just food it provides a safe, welcoming space where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Each kitchen also serves as a community support hub, distributing essential household items and sleeping bags to those in need.

Through this initiative, we aim not only to alleviate hunger but also to connect service users with pathways to stability, empowerment, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Open Kitchen project team, the role will involve ensuring the smooth, safe, and impactful operation of Open Kitchen Manchester. Responsibilities include:

Operational Management

• Oversee day-to-day activities within Open Kitchen Manchester, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals.
• Supervise and observe the cooking facility in the Manchester Open Kitchen, ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Manage food inventory, kitchen supplies, and procurement processes to ensure sustainability and efficiency.
• Ensure all food standards are followed.

Volunteer Coordination

• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Promote a positive and inclusive volunteer culture that reflects the values of compassion, respect, and community service.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain partnerships with local food banks, the NHS, job centres, local councils, and rehousing services to offer holistic support to service users.
• Collaborate with community organisations, faith groups, and local businesses to strengthen the project’s reach and impact.

· Collaborating with strategic partners to drive the expansion of the open kitchen concept across multiple locations.

· Leading fundraising initiatives for the open kitchen and managing the facilitation of in-kind donations.

Beneficiary Support

• Identify service users who may benefit from additional assistance, including access to healthcare, employment, housing, or welfare services.

Monitoring and Reporting

Role Purpose 
 
Grandmentors is our award-winning, inter-generational mentoring project running in almost 20 locations across the UK.We recruit, train and support Volunteer Mentors (normally people aged 50+) who are matched 1:1 with young people (aged 16-26) facing a range of life challenges and barriers. This includes young people with experience of the care system, or with Adverse Childhood Experiences. 
 
Through our mentoring support, young people are more likely to have improved physical and mental health and wellbeing, achieve better outcomes around Education, Employment or Training, build independent living skills, and generally enhance their life chances. In 2026, we are excited to be launching the Grandmentors project in Fife.
