Job description

Fundraising Officer, the Archer Academy

A unique opportunity to join our thriving school and to enable us to further secure our ambitious goals in providing the very best educational experience for each and every one of our students; truly ensuring that they realise their potential.

We are seeking a Fundraising Officer with significant experience to develop and implement our fundraising strategy, specifically in securing grant funding from Trusts and Foundations.

We have a strong track record of fundraising success and a committed group of governors, parents and volunteers work together on our Fundraising Committee. However, we are keen to secure a longer term and more strategic approach to our fundraising that will motivate and facilitate new revenue streams and inspire new supporters whilst maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters. We are keen to explore a range of projects including capital development.

Title: Fundraising Officer

Grade: School Scale Point 24-27 (£31,044 to £33,322 full time)

salary equivalent, dependent on experience, (actual £12,170 to £13,063)

Post: 16.5 hours / week - term time only

Fixed Term 2 year contract.

There is flexibility around these working hours and flexible working patterns are possible. Applicants are asked to raise these at interview. Please do not hesitate to contact the Headteacher to discuss in advance of application or interview.
