JOB PURPOSE

To coordinate Dudley Lodge's impact reporting, fundraising support and business development activities across the organisation.

The postholder will support income generation by identifying funding opportunities, maintaining funding pipelines, coordinating fundraising activity, supporting funding applications and helping Dudley Lodge evidence and communicate the impact of its work to commissioners, funders, donors and stakeholders.

Working closely with the Head of Support Services, Head of Operations and Service Leads, the postholder will collect, collate and report impact and outcomes information, support fundraising and business development activities and contribute to the organisation's sustainability and growth.

Impact Reporting and Communications

• Coordinate systems for collecting, recording and reporting impact, outcomes and stakeholder feedback data across Dudley Lodge services.
• Work with Heads of Service and Service Leads to gather feedback, case studies, testimonials and other evidence of service delivery, outcomes and organisational impact.
• Coordinate feedback collection from service users, parents, family members, professionals, commissioners and stakeholders.
• Produce impact summaries, dashboards and data reports for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate the development of Dudley Lodge's assessment and Support Services' annual impact reports.
• Support the development of systems to collect and report information relating to longer-term outcomes for families.
• Ensure impact information is accurate, accessible and available to support reporting, funding applications and service development activities.
• Support the preparation of commissioner updates, funder reports, stakeholder briefings and annual impact publications.
• Gather, collate and present information, data, case studies and outcomes to support organisational reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare draft reports, updates and communications for review by Heads of Service and Service Leads.
• Coordinate the production and distribution of approved reports, updates and communications.
• Support the dissemination of impact reports, funding updates and organisational achievements.
• Maintain records of stakeholder communications, reporting requirements and submission deadlines.

Fundraising and Income Generation

• Support the organisation to achieve fundraising and income generation targets.
• Research and monitor trusts, foundations, corporate, statutory and tender opportunities, maintaining accurate records of prospective funders, deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Maintain an up-to-date funding pipeline and funding calendar.
• Gather and coordinate evidence, data and supporting information required for grant applications, tenders, expressions of interest and funding reports.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of funding applications and tender responses.
• Coordinate fundraising appeals and donor engagement activities.
• Draft and distribute appeal letters, donor updates and stewardship communications.
• Support funder reporting and grant monitoring requirements.
• Monitor emerging funding opportunities and sector developments and share opportunities with relevant managers.

Systems and Administration

• Maintain accurate fundraising, impact and stakeholder engagement records.
• Support the development and maintenance of databases and reporting systems.
• Coordinate surveys, consultations and feedback exercises.
• Produce regular reports to support management, governance and business development activities.
• Ensure information is recorded, stored and managed in accordance with GDPR and organisational policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiency across impact data collection and reporting, fundraising and stakeholder reporting activities.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade and purpose of the role, as reasonably required by the Line Manager or to meet the needs of the organisation.

About the Role

We are looking for two Faculties Coordinators to join our team. Reporting to the Faculties Development Manager you will support the governance, projects and activities behind our six fantastic Faculties. You will work alongside world leading surgeons and healthcare professionals from across the UK and beyond, helping to advance education, raise professional standards and improve patient care.

No two days are the same. You will coordinate committee activity, support Faculty projects and events and brief our volunteers. You will build strong relationships with our inspiring volunteers and members and work collaboratively with colleagues from across the College to deliver an exceptional experience.

This role offers genuine opportunities for professional development. You'll gain experience in governance, project delivery, stakeholder engagement and service improvement, while developing the skills and confidence to progress within the Faculties team. The role forms part of our development pathway towards a Faculties Development Lead position.

You will join a team that enjoys collaborative working. Experience in a professional membership organisation, healthcare, education or a governance environment would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Experience of working in an intercultural context would be a useful advantage.

About the Role

This is not your typical management role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, building trusted relationships and finding practical solutions to difficult challenges. Reporting to the Head of Faculties, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of three of our six Faculties, working with world leading surgeons and healthcare professionals who generously volunteer their time to advance surgical education and, ultimately, improve patient care across the world.

You will also lead and develop a small, high performing team comprising a Faculty Development Lead, A Faculty Coordinator and shared support from a Coordinator and an Administrator. As a people leader, you will create an environment where colleagues feel supported, empowered and able to do their best work. Balancing day to day operational delivery with longer term development and continuous improvement.

No two days are the same. One morning you might be advising a Faculty Chair on governance matter. By lunchtime

you could be developing a business case for a new educational initiative, supporting your team through a challenging piece of work, or troubleshooting an unexpected operational problem. In the afternoon, you may be leading a cross College project, bringing together colleagues from across departments to deliver a new service, improve member experience or develop innovative ways of supporting our Faculties. Success in this role comes from working collaboratively across the organisation, building strong relationships and bringing people together around shared goals.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, thinks strategically but is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, and can switch confidently between coaching a colleague, influencing senior stakeholders, leading collaborative projects and solving practical problems.

The Winchester Beacon has been supporting individuals experiencing homelessness for almost forty years. The organisation provides a safe and welcoming accommodation for up to 22 individuals, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day across 4 sites. Residents receive personalised support through regular one-to-one meetings with a Support Worker to plan steps towards positive change and independent living.

Role Description

This 0.6 part-time hybrid role (22.5 hours per week) of Facilities Manager is based in Winchester with some flexibility for remote work. The Facilities Manager will oversee the maintenance, safety and functionality of the organisation’s main site and off-site residences. Responsibilities include coordinating repairs and maintenance, managing contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and performing regular site inspections. The role also involves maintaining records, managing budgets related to facilities, and collaborating with staff and stakeholders to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of facilities maintenance, including performing inspections, coordinating repairs and engaging with contractors.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and budget management skills to effectively oversee resources and documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience in managing multiple sites and troubleshooting facility-related issues is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment.
• A commitment to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and knowledge of housing-related services is a plus.

Hours: 37.5 (part-time or job share is not available for this position).

Salary: £25,000

Location:      Primarily office-based in Hemel Hempstead, with regular travel around the community required and some flexible working offered.

As our Events & Communications Assistant, you’ll be right at the centre of everything we do - helping deliver engaging events, creating content that connects with people, and bringing our work to life.

You’ll work closely with our Fundraising & Communications team to plan and deliver events, promote them across digital channels, and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From coordinating logistics to posting on social media and supporting supporter communications, you’ll play a key role in making things happen.

This is a hands-on role that includes the practical delivery of events. You’ll be involved in setting up and packing down, transporting equipment, and supporting on-site logistics. This can include lifting and moving equipment, putting up gazebos and stands, and driving the event van.
