About the role
As a Community Fundraising Executive, you'll lead the development and delivery of a range of community fundraising initiatives working with schools community groups, rotary clubs, etc.
You will manage events such as Pyjama Day, Spirit of Christmas Grotto, bakes sake and so much more. You'll also attend select community events, acting as a charity ambassador.
You'll manage the charity's existing and new community supporters, providing them with appropriate advice and support with income generating activities.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As the Senior Grants Executive, you will be responsible for delivering income from a range of donors and prospects, with a focus on trusts and foundations, through the overall management and growth of a successful grants pipeline. We are looking for an ambitious fundraiser who thrives working in a collaborative team and who enjoys inspiring funders to support the Helen Bamber Foundation. You will be part of a Fundraising and Communications Team that has a successful track record of securing income and you will help to further grow the organisation.
You will be managed by our Grants Manager and work closely with the Head of Fundraising and will be responsible for delivering high quality applications and reports to small and medium sized Trusts and Foundations as well as supporting larger donors in collaboration with your team members. Refugee Council is seeking a Senior Philanthropy Executive to secure and steward new donors, and to grow the charity’s established Major Donor/Philanthropy programme, taking it to a new level of giving.
Refugee Council is a leading charity supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety here in the UK. Providing practical, hands on support, their award winning services include welcoming refugees into local communities across the country, providing specialist children’s services – with a particular focus on refugee children who arrive here alone, helping people to navigate the asylum system, and supporting people to access housing and employment. Evidence from services is then used to also inform the charity’s leading policy and influencing work, including campaigning for a fairer and kinder refugee protection system. The charity works with more than 14,000 men, women and children every year.
As a result of growing need and increasing interest in Refugee Council’s work, the charity has ambitious plans to make a leap in impact, with investment in their Philanthropy Team to raise increased funds from key high value audiences.
Working with key stakeholders from across the organisation, the post-holder will play a critical role in the delivery of an ambitious Major Donor/Philanthropy strategy and will be responsible for offering inspiring stewardship to the existing cohort of major donors, and for driving forward work to identify new prospects. Refugee Council has ambitious plans to significantly grow income from major donors, capitalising on the high profile which immigration and asylum currently have in public and political discourse.
The ideal candidate will have a track record in cultivating relationships from new and existing supporters and in securing in five figure gifts or above, as well as in meeting challenging income targets. They will have excellent knowledge of the methodology of major gift fundraising strategies and a proven ability to create bespoke, compelling cases for support and reports at a variety of levels and for different audiences. Excellent verbal and communication skills will be combined with superb relationships building and networking abilities. Finally they will be self-motivating, with the ability to think creatively and translate that into creative concepts and compelling copy.
Refugee Council will provide the most moving and diverse case for support. Cases that encompass innovative external affairs campaigns aimed at engaging policy makers and the public.

We are currently seeking a new Digital Marketing Executive, to join our marketing and digital team. We are looking for a talented, dynamic and well-organised individual, who can help devise, develop and execute impactful marketing and digital campaigns across the entire spectrum of CTSI's products and services. As one of the key drivers of our marketing and digital comms, you won’t just follow orders! You should relish the chance to take the lead on the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and activities. You’ll use your skills, judgement, creativity and hard-work to deliver compelling brand narratives and a positive ROI. 2+ years UK experience of Google Ad Words (ideally, with experience managing a Google for Nonprofits Ad Grant) and other popular digital marketing tools is essential. As is the ability to learn fast, on the job. Familiarity with popular Content Management Systems is also desirable.
You should possess a hybrid analytical/creative mind - with great writing skills, a good eye for design (i.e. website ‘look and feel’), and excellent attention to detail. In addition to digital marketing and social media channels, you’ll get the chance to work on a major website redevelopment project, and work with our busy content production team (incl. photo/video content).

MAIN DUTIES
1.Providing operational support to Business Development Manager, including taking telephone enquiries from clients and arranging sales consultations. Supporting the Business Development Manager with sales consultations during holidays and at peak periods.
2.Being first point of contact for new business client enquiries, responding to messages from new clients and scheduling sales consultations with prospective clients. This includes acting on new referrals for paid service consultations within 24 hours, identifying and advising on the best service to meet the client’s needs from initial assessment of their situation, and promoting confidence in Beacon and our ability to meet the client’s needs.
3.Drafting and sending detailed estimates to prospective clients following initial consultations and following up to close the sale.
4.Establishing a rapport with prospective clients, utilising Beacon’s reputation within the industry to generate business and maintaining excellent communication throughout the sales journey.
5.Managing the case allocation process including responsibility for ensuring cases are allocated in a timely way according to case deadlines.
6.Generating and sending out contracts and associated paperwork, and processing completed contracts for clients engaging in a paid service. Liaising with caseworkers for a smooth handover of the new case, ensuring that expectations are met and key deadlines understood by the caseworker.
7.Maintaining good communication with colleagues in the Information and Advice team to facilitate the smooth transfer of prospective clients from an advice call to a paid service consultation.
8.To keep relevant and sufficiently detailed case records following each client contact, ensuring that all client information is kept up to date in line with Beacon’s systems and procedures, including data protection policies.
9.Keeping sales data software up to date and producing monthly sales reports for Managing Director.
10.Responsible for the effective operation of client administrative procedures including operating and maintaining database and filing systems.
11.Arranging for the safe and secure transportation of sensitive client files and medical records for caseworkers and clients.
12.Attending line management, supervision and team meetings as appropriate.
13.Provide organisational, administrative and secretarial support to the sales and casework teams as required.

Background Information
NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is the name given to a package of healthcare that some people need to receive due to disability, accident or illness. People who are eligible for CHC have the full cost of their care and accommodation funded by the NHS. This relieves families of sometimes astronomical care bills.
The criteria for determining who is eligible for CHC are highly complex and can be very difficult to understand. The assessment process is lengthy and detailed. Likewise, the appeal process can be very daunting and perplexing.

About this role:
As Senior Administrator, you’ll provide general administrative support to the Chief Executive and PA to the Chief Executive, including:
- Managing and processing expense reports and reimbursement claims
