The Marketors are seeking a fulltime Clerk. We are a Royal Chartered City of London livery company open to marketing, sales and agency leaders. In pursuit of our purpose we use our skills, contacts and resources to support charitable causes and enable the development of marketing. As a result we have a strong spirit of fellowship amongst our members reinforced by a wide range of events throughout the year. In all we do we actively support the City of London Corporation and the programme of the Lady/ Lord Mayor.

As Clerk you will drive forward membership recruitment and retention and manage the day-to-day running of the Company.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience of the management, marketing, communications and strategy development of a comparable sized member-led organisation
- Up-to-date IT and online skills; experience of running CRM systems and managing social media channels
- Experience of and/ or a willingness to embrace the ethos/ culture of the City of London and the Livery Community
- Positive leadership, organisational and administrative skills with the ‘presence’ to engage ‘peer to peer’ with senior members of the Company
- Experience of the marketing or agency world would be an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience of setting and keeping to an agreed budget
- Experience of managing people and events under pressure
- Commitment, energy, tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality

Finance Administrator
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support financial operations and play a key role in delivering accurate and timely services.
Position: Finance Administrator
Salary: £20,255 pro rata (£28,357 FTE)
Hours: Part time, 25 hours per week, flexible across 4 or 5 days (Tuesdays in the office required)
Location: Hammersmith, West London, hybrid with 2 days in the office

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure the smooth running of financial transactions including rent accounting and purchase ledger systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing rent charges and receipts accurately on the housing management system
- Managing supplier invoices and weekly payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with finance journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing budget reports to support budget holders
- Responding promptly and professionally to resident and supplier queries

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Accountant to join the finance team supporting both the Helen Bamber Foundation. This role is key to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintenance of supplier relationships, and effective management of the purchase ledgers for both organisations.
You will play an important part in safeguarding the charities’ assets by adhering to established financial policies and procedures, while ensuring that suppliers are paid promptly and financial data is accurately recorded. Your work will directly support the production of reliable management accounts and contribute to informed decision-making across the organisations.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proficient in Excel and financial systems, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with Sage and knowledge of VAT processes are desirable but not essential.
