What You’ll Do:
- Ensure high-quality care in line with our policies and Christian values;
- Lead and manage the care and hospitality teams ensuring they are well-trained and motivated;
- Oversee the development and implementation of care plans
- Responsible for the home’s budget, in conjunction with the Head Office Finance Team. This includes local purchasing etc within budget limits;
- Manage complaints from residents, relatives and staff in accordance with Society policy;
- Engage with local church and community groups to maximise voluntary help and spiritual support available;
- Uphold the Christian ethos of the home through leadership and example.
What You’ll Bring:
- Management experience in a residential care home or similar setting;
- Qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above);
- Strong leadership and people management skills;
- A passion for person-centred care and working with older people;
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities;

The Scientific and Medical Network (SMN) is an educational charity that challenges the adequacy of scientific materialism by exploring the frontiers of science, consciousness, and spirituality. We need another member of the accounts team who can dedicate the time to fortify our accounts team and help with operational processes, and with organisational development.
Role Overview: This is a hands-on systems development role that combines operational financial administration with organisational development. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the existing bookkeeper to further bring order and clarity to SMN's financial processes while building a coherent framework within its new Chart of Accounts, that can accommodate the organisation's growing interconnected projects.
The role focuses on improvements such as new invoicing processes, streamlining payment workflows, and resolving banking issues - while helping to develop the systems and structures needed for long-term financial clarity and governance compliance.
This is a mid-level position that blends practical work with systems thinking, requiring someone who can work at both levels to support SMN's diverse activities across webinars, conferences, membership services, and multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Practical priorities
- Help new weekly payables cycle, working closely with Bookkeeper and Director with financial oversight
- Organise invoices from various projects, determining their place in the overall financial structure
- Initiate payments via CAF, PayPal, and other systems,
- Manage banking relationships with Barclays and CAF, maintaining efficient access and reporting
- Maintain banking mandates and ensure record-keeping remains clear, up-to-date, and efficient
- Support General Manager with hands-on financial operations and day-to-day payment processing
Financial Structure Development
- Help to implement and refine new Chart of Accounts with SMN Bookkeeper focusing on clear reporting
- Collaborate with project leads (particularly David Lorimer for Galileo Commission) to understand financial structures and reporting requirements
- Develop project reference systems linking budgets, codes, and stakeholders across diverse activities
- Work on 2026 organisational budgets once foundational systems are established
Collaborative Team Support
- Work as peer consultant with bookkeeper Rhanna Lei Cariaga, supporting her professional development

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Accounting qualification (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or significant equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with payment processing, banking relationships, and invoice management
- Proven ability to work with complex organisational structures and multiple projects
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software systems
- Strong relationship management skills for dealing with banks and financial institutions

Fulham Palace Trust runs a number of public events each year, ranging from 50 to 5,000 attendees. They bring in a c. £75,000 surplus to the Trust, as well as additional donation and retail income. Reporting to the commercial and visitor experience manager (CVEM), you will develop and co-ordinate public events and filming taking place on site.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and quick-thinking public events and filming manager. Someone full of ideas and with a passion for generating income and promoting Fulham Palace, helping the organisation grow and develop.
You will need to be highly motivated, organised and able to work with minimal supervision. You must be able to multi-task and manage a complex workload. You should have excellent event management and planning skills and be able to take an imaginative, strategic and creative approach to your work, including developing new events. We want someone who is commercially-minded, who can see potential and plan the steps to delivery.
We are a small team, so we need someone who can balance the strategic overview and drive to develop the events programme with the hands-on delivery.

Screen Share is the UK’s leading refugee digital inclusion charity. We invest in the digital capability of refugees and people seeking asylum by providing the tools, training and opportunities they need to thrive in education, work and community life. Our vision is a future where every refugee in the UK has the digital tools and support to flourish in a connected world.
Over the past four years, we have supported more than 3,000 refugees with devices, connectivity, and training. Our 2026–2030 strategy commits us to scaling our impact to reach 5,000 refugees across the UK every year, embedding refugee leadership, and ensuring Screen Share is an effective and sustainable full-service digital inclusion service for refugees for as long as needed.
This role is funded for 1 year with the high likelihood that funding will continue beyond the grant period. We are also awaiting a response for 2 significant funding applications which will expand the programme.
Personal Profile
This is a leadership role at a pivotal moment in Screen Share’s journey. The role is funded to deliver our current Digital Skills programme, with a strong focus on quality, impact and evaluation. At the same time, we are awaiting the outcome of several significant funding applications. If successful, these will enable us to expand the programme quickly, positioning the postholder as the Head of a national digital skills programme with a larger team and greater leadership remit.

Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership & Delivery

Lead the design and strategic direction of our Digital Skills programme, Ensure the service we are providing is high-quality, impactful, trauma-informed and aligned with Screen Share’s 2026–2030 strategy.

Oversee the onboarding and support of hundreds of refugees looking to develop digitally, including supporting with the development of their Independent Learning Plan’s and journeys through Digital Champions

Recruite, coordinate and support our digital champions and staff to provide high-quality online and in-person classes, 1:1 support and effective sign-posting

Maintain oversight of multiple Screen Share digital skills projects delivered over multiple locations.

Trial innovative digital inclusion tools and approaches.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact

Design and oversee comprehensive impact measurement and monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure the programme is most effective

Produce clear, data-centered programme and impact reports (quantitative and qualitative) for existing and prospective funders and partners

Embed continuous learning and client reflections into programme design and improvement.
People & Volunteers

Recruit, train and support Digital Champions and volunteers in a trauma-informed way

Line-manage staff kindly and calmly as the team grows

Partnerships & Fundraising

Support our Outreach team in building and maintaining strong partnerships with our corporate, charity and government partners

Represent Screen Share to external stakeholders including corporates and charity partners with professionalism and credibility.

Explain and facilitate our Digital Skills employee engagement package for corporates and businesses in a safe and professional manner

Collect and report detailed programmatic data and case studies for fundraising bids and corporate partnership proposals.
Finance, Safeguarding & Compliance

Hold accountability for the Digital Skills programme budget, reporting regular updates to the CEO

Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding and H&S policies.

Oversee the prompt and accurate reporting of safeguarding incidents to Screen Share’s DSL, and contribute to the development of our safeguarding as an essential element of our work
Personal Specification
Essential

Significant experience in charity programme management, with a strong preference for experience in the digital inclusion, adult education or refugee support sector

Proven ability to manage teams of staff and volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds

Experience working directly with refugees/asylum seekers OR deep expertise in digital inclusion and commitment to learning from refugee experience.

Strong monitoring, evaluation and reporting skills and experience

About the role
GNDR is seeking a motivated and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as Head of Fundraising, Impact and Communications on a full-time basis for a fixed-term maternity cover of one year.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving forward GNDR’s fundraising and communications strategy, increasing our reach, impact, and income in alignment with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
You will lead a fully integrated function spanning fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and communications. This includes ensuring a joined-up and collaborative approach to consistent, distinctive messaging and engagement activities. These efforts underpin successful fundraising outcomes and support GNDR’s wider organisational goals – particularly our work in influencing policy and engaging external decision-makers.
This maternity cover role comes at an exciting moment in GNDR’s journey. We are currently evaluating our existing strategy and designing a new five-year organisational strategy that will unlock fresh opportunities to deepen our impact, extend our reach and amplify our global voice.
The successful candidate will play an essential role in ensuring our fundraising, MEAL and communications operations remain strategically aligned and fully responsive to this evolving context.

Candidate requirements

- Fundraising & Communications: Proven success securing funding from donors, trusts and foundations, with strategic experience in NGO fundraising and communications
- Leadership & Strategy: Strong team leadership, capacity building, and strategic planning skills within humanitarian or development contexts
- Interpersonal & Cultural Agility: Excellent communicator, culturally sensitive, adaptable, and able to thrive in fast-paced, diverse environments
- Project & Proposal Delivery: Skilled in developing proposals, and producing high-quality reports and budgets

Eligibility
We are accepting applications from candidates eligible to work in the UK. Candidates will need to be able to travel internationally when necessary.
This role will be predominantly remote. However, we are currently piloting a revised hybrid working model for our UK-based team, which includes monthly in-person meetups at a flexible workspace in London. This arrangement remains subject to the outcome of the ongoing consultation, with the trial period scheduled to conclude at the end of October.

Salary
The gross annual salary for this role is £56,098 per annum based on working full-time.
This is a one year, fixed-term full time contract.
Start date
We are ideally looking for candidates who are available to start in November 2025. However, we recognise that availability may vary due to individual notice periods, and we are happy to accommodate some flexibility where possible.

About Speakers Trust
Speakers Trust is the UK's leading public speaking charity, which delivers training and events to ensure all young people develop the skills and confidence to speak and be heard.

We operate through two key areas: (i) we deliver a national schools programme to more than one in five state secondary schools delivering workshops and events and publishing leading educational resources. The Role
This role is focused on managing and growing our work with other third sector organisations. It focuses on two areas: (i) developing our social enterprise which delivers over 150 paid workshops each year and (ii) delivering youth voice initiatives with other charity partners which amplify young voices. We're creating this new position to drive our strategic mission while enabling our Head of Fundraising to focus on individual giving, corporates, and larger trusts and foundations.

Enterprise Development (Primary Focus)
- Grow our established “paid for” workshop delivery (currently 150+ workshops annually) by building relationships with third sector organisations, developing new products, promotions and selling public speaking workshops to those with budget to pay for them.
- Drive successful growth in enterprise contribution to the charity's finances through increased net income
- Manage the full commercial cycle from prospecting and enquiry to delivery and invoicing
- Work with our impressive existing client base while actively developing new partnerships
- Match client needs with our established freelance trainer network
Youth Voice Programmes
- Successfully deliver flagship programmes like "My Maiden Speech" - our high-profile, transformative multi-organisation youth voice programme
- Develop and deliver new youth voice initiatives that amplify marginalised voices
- Engage new partners and showcase our transformative work
- Manage events, logistics, and complex stakeholder relationships across multiple organisations
