About the Department
The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership was set up in 2017 with the mission to 'develop inspirational leaders who are called, connected, committed to deliver the Church of England vision for education'. Since then, it has operated a wide range of leadership development programmes, networks, research, conference and events, and published a range of key leadership resources to equip school leaders at every level to put their vision into practice.
Part of this provision has been as a very successful national provider of NPQ programmes. Beginning in 2017 with the delivery of NPQs for Headteachers, our suite of programmes has now expanded to include programmes for Specialist Teachers, Senior Leaders and also Executive Leaders. More recently, a partnership between the Church of England and the Catholic Education Service is also enabling programmes to be delivered more widely as together our school provision represents around 34% of the sector.
In 2025, the department will launch three new national programmes: Flourishing Leaders, Flourishing Teachers, and Flourishing ECTs (in partnership with UCL). These programmes respond to growing demand for high-quality, values-led professional learning and represent a significant expansion of our work across the education sector.
About the role
We are seeking a Programme Officer who will support the Church of England Education Office's Professional Learning Team. The role is part of a wider team of Programme Officers who support a variety of functions across both the NPQ suite and the Flourishing programmes. Programme Officers work across different portfolios, supporting delivery through directly contracted Delivery Partners and via our National Programme delivered by the Education Office.
Working collaboratively, Programme Officers take on different areas of responsibility to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality programmes across the country. This role offers the opportunity to develop project management and programme delivery skills in a holistic and supportive environment.
Internal-facing Support
- Maintain the integrity of data within Salesforce and other systems. Trouble-shoot errors when seen.
- Support the effective programme management, launch and delivery of NPQs and Flourishing programmes.
- Lead on administrative tasks relating to the delivery of the programmes, including participant recruitment, onboarding and ongoing participant management (e.g. processing withdrawals and deferrals, supporting participant assessments).
- Provide event administration support, including scheduling, online meeting setup, and updating learning platforms (e.g. Blackboard).
- Assist with the preparation of reports on recruitment, engagement, and quality assurance.
- Provide administrative support across delivery functions, including inbox management, form creation, and reporting.
- Support continuous improvement by collecting and organising feedback from participants, facilitators, and partners to inform programme development and enhance delivery.
- Be prepared to work flexibly across the team, supporting different areas of programme delivery as needed to respond to changing priorities and ensure smooth operation.
External-facing Support
- Provide high-quality, courteous and caring first-line support for participant and partner queries via shared inboxes.
- Support the Learning Technology team with online event administration and technical support.
- Assist applicants and sponsors with the application process and IT-related queries.
- Use data systems, to identify and support Delivery Partners who have participants who are at risk of falling behind, in order for them to take swift action to ensure support is put in place and their participants are able to catch up in a timely manner.
- Support the onboarding and coordination of Coaches and Facilitators across all programmes.
- Act as the first point of contact in online sessions, supporting facilitators to use key features of Zoom and Teams (e.g. breakout rooms) and answer queries from participants, coaches and facilitators.
- Maintain accurate records of contractual milestones and deliverables for external partners.
- Liaise with Delivery Partners to ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks and meeting of their contractual milestones.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

The Role
CoppaFeel! is seeking an inspiring and strategic Fundraising Director to lead our fundraising activity and help to drive the next phase of our growth.

Duties and responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Work as part of the CoppaFeel! SMT shaping the organisational strategy, culture and cross departmental ways of working
- Set and lead an ambitious, multi year fundraising vision aligned to CoppaFeel!’s organisational strategy and impact goals
- Develop and support the Fundraising Team in the delivery of the fundraising strategy to ensure long term sustainability and maximum impact
- Provide strong, clear and consistent leadership through a period of growth, transformation and increasing complexity
- Champion innovation, testing and learning across all fundraising streams to unlock new opportunities and audiences
- Work collaboratively across all departments to ensure that fundraising is integrated across the organisation and aligned with our organisational delivery
Governance
- Work closely with the SMT to develop strategic recommendations for the Board of Trustees and support effective governance
- Development of the 3 year budget, including regular reforecasting and longer term projections to inform investment and growth decisions
- Analyse and monitor the ROI of across all income streams, using insight to drive decision making!
- Take on fundraising related governance responsibilities, including attendance at Finance Committee meetings and contributing to the annual report.

Fundraising

- Support the Asda partnership at a strategic level, ensuring income is stewarded effectively and impact is clearly reported
- Oversee and empower the Department Heads in the implementation and optimitisation of the fundraising strategy
- Lead the diversification of income, reducing reliance on any single partner or activity and building a resilient, balanced fundraising portfolio Identify and develop fundraising opportunities that are accessible, inclusive and engaging for 18–24-year-olds and priority audiences

- Act as a visible ambassador for CoppaFeel! within the fundraising sector

Role Purpose:
Working closely with the Director of Programmes to manage and help develop a portfolio of funds across Access’s enterprise grant, blended finance and capacity building work, the role holder will be the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of social investors, enterprise grant providers and other organisations funded by Access.
It is anticipated that this role holder may particularly specialise in the management of enterprise development funds, and those that are more local (place-based) throughout England.
The role will balance responsibilities including supporting and assessing funding proposals, managing performance via regular data submission and meetings, providing support from within and beyond Access’s own team, supporting peer learning between delivery partners and seeking to ensure that lessons and experience across Access’s programmes are maximised.

Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management
- Be the day to day point of contact for a portfolio of organisations who are applying for funding and/or delivering Access’s programmes.
- Build strong productive and supportive working relationships with delivery partners, in a spirit of collaborative endeavour and learning.
- Maintain comprehensive and clear records on Access’s systems of the status of the relationship and any key questions or issues which are currently being addressed.
- Seek to build an understanding of the underling impact of the delivery of our funds on the work of the charities and social enterprises they exist to support.
Performance Management
- Following an agreed pattern and schedule, regularly meet and speak to the delivery partners to receive updates on performance, and key issues.
- Ensure robust financial management of funds, including monitoring deployment targets of partners, managing budgets and the process for drawing funds from Access.
- Ensure that regular performance data is submitted to a high quality and in an agreed format with each delivery partner. Perform checks to ensure accuracy and check understanding with the delivery partner.
- Ensuring the uploading of data into Access’s management systems and producing the required performance reports for internal and external use.
- Use this performance data to analyse performance within each delivery partner and across the portfolio, including supporting the publication of a quarterly dashboard. Work closely with colleagues to identify trends and understand reasons for those trends.
- Work with delivery partners to address areas of under-performance, escalating issues where necessary to the Director of Programmes and Access committees.
Guidance and Support
- Use performance data and insight from different partners within the portfolio to identify opportunities to support partners with, for example, peer support around areas of good practice.
- Offer expertise within Access and across partner organisations to support delivery partners in particular aspects of their work.
- Where challenges are common across many delivery partners, work with colleagues and the Director of Programmes to develop shared solutions, tools, or learning resources which might address those challenges.
- Support the design and delivery of external events, including peer-learning events.
Facilitating and supporting decision making
- Reviewing and co-developing plans and proposals in collaboration with partners.
- Writing papers including assessment papers for Access committees, presenting clear information and context to aid understanding and decision making.
- Present analysis based on performance data and qualitative insight to inform decisions within the team about ongoing relationships with delivery partners.
- Actively participating in the peer-review of assessment papers produced by other colleagues in the Programmes team.
Supporting learning and programme design
- From data and insight gained through performance management, work with colleagues across Access to identify common themes within the portfolio to aid Access’s learning and influencing objectives.
- Work with the Director of Impact and Evaluation to analyse performance data and make it available for publishing in various forms.
- Based on learning gathered across the portfolio within the Programme team and across all of Access, work with the Director of Programmes to identify how programmes can be improved and developed.

About the role:
As the Bid Officer, you will support statutory and non-statutory funding across Advance’s services, with oversight by the Development Manager and support from the Development and Fundraising Co-ordinator. They will also provide assistance to the Head of Fundraising. The role will ensure a high standard of professional bids are created, showing strong attention to detail, an ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines.
You will plan and produce compliant proposal documents, bringing together expertise, best practice, research and data to develop compelling tender responses. Your role will be responsible for shaping service delivery models in collaboration with internal subject matter experts, bid writing and editing, coordinating the final document review and document governance.
Please note: In this role we are always exploring new technology and tools to support better ways of working, however the sector we work in means that we are often required to submit bids that are written without AI involvement. We need someone with great writing skills in this role and will be testing this with an in-person assessment as part of our recruitment process.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

The Role
The Impact Assistant is a new role at Figurative that will primarily support work on the Arts & Culture Impact Fund (“ACIF”), an £18m social investment fund which seeks to enable enterprising arts, culture and heritage organisations to fulfil their missions through the use of flexible and risk-tolerant finance. The Impact Assistant will also contribute to Figurative’s emerging advisory work, providing impact development support to the creative and cultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
The demands of this role will be both fund (ACIF) specific and general to Figurative. You will play an important role in assessing and understanding the social impact enabled through ACIF. In particular, this includes:
- Providing administrative support in the monitoring of impact delivery and reporting requirements across a portfolio of investments to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner
- Working closely with Figurative’s Impact Lead and wider Investment team to develop new investment proposals to the ACIF investment committee
- Contributing to assessments of the expected impact of each investment proposal as part of the social impact due diligence process

MAIN TASKS
Care and Support of Service Users
-
Ensuring that all service users receive high-quality Triage Assessments and Needs Assessments, support, care and advice that is focused on their strengths and goals, and delivered in a way that suits them and within a framework of active engagement, positive risk taking and person-centred planning.

Ensuring that effective and reliable assessments are carried out and that person centred Resettlement Plans and Safety Plans are created and updated for all service users through a lead case worker system.

Ensuring that the service users' rights to privacy, dignity and self-determination are promoted, and that their rights as citizens are upheld.

Ensuring as far as possible that service users are involved in the management of the service and that regular service user consultation occurs.

Enabling the service users to participate in, and have access to, available resources in The Passage and the wider community by promoting worthwhile activity and referring internally and externally to appropriate agencies.
To Lead and Manage a Team
-
Providing leadership and day to day management & supervision of a team of Resettlement Workers
-
Management of Resettlement Team staff rota.
-
Taking the lead in recruitment and selection of new staff and volunteers to the team.
-
Developing performance targets and quality control measures for the work of the team, and monitoring team members’ work to ensure that these are met and are aligned with The Passage Values.

Supporting staff by setting clear objectives and holding individual supervisions and case reviews regularly.
-
Ensuring good communication between staff by holding team meetings regularly, and additional briefings as necessary.
-
Inducting new staff and planning the continuing development of existing staff on the basis of an annual appraisal.
-
Managing the rota and workload of the team to ensure that adequate cover is provided at all times.
-
Ensuring the health and safety of team members.
-
Defining (and reviewing from time to time) the roles of staff to ensure these support the function’s aims and objectives.

Operating The Passage’s disciplinary and grievance procedures where necessary.
Resource Centre Management
Working closely with the Operations Coordinator to ensure the provision of high-quality service delivery within the Passage Resource Centre through:

Assisting with incident management and follow up to instances of anti-social behaviour, or other breaches of the Service User Agreement.

Assisting with Duty Manager shift cover within the Resource Centre as needed to ensure service continuity.
-
Prompt follow up of maintenance issues.
-
Liaison with the Facilities Team to ensure provision of quality and seamless service management.
-
Processing and responding promptly and objectively to complaints from service users and other agencies as required.
-
Ensuring property related risk management and assessment procedures are followed by all team members.
Networking, Liaison and Resource-building
-
To be responsible for good and effective liaison with outside agencies including the police, social services and other statutory and voluntary agencies and delegating this work where appropriate.

To identify volunteering opportunities, for both corporate partners and individuals, to add value to the work of the team and ensure volunteering policies and procedures are put into place and monitored

To work collaboratively with the Service Manager to attend external meetings, manage internal and external communication effectively, encourage and seek opportunities to maintain partnerships across the sector.
Information Management

Ensuring the team is recording and updating. To ensure the Resettlement Team are keeping accurate record keeping, while maintaining timely record keeping using internal database as well as client files and ensuring all record keeping is kept securely in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Ensuring that The Passage’s policies and procedures in relation to information management, monitoring and reporting are fully implemented, in an accurate and timely way, ensuring that all staff members are clear about their responsibilities.

Ensuring the collation and submission of accurate and timely monitoring information for external bodies as required.

Participating in the production of promotional information in relation to The Passage’s services.

Regularly reviewing and analysing data from In-Form to identify gaps in delivery, monitor caseloads, identify trends and to plan service delivery.

Work closely with the Service Manager to produce high quality and engaging reports for our funders (both voluntary and statutory) and supporters that demonstrates both hard and soft outcomes that our services achieve.
Finance
-
To liaise with the Finance team in the preparation of project budgets.

To monitor the service’s income and expenditure in line with the budget.
-
To monitor and authorise staff-related and office expenditure in line with the organisational and service budget and in line with financial regulations.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

To keep abreast of current housing legislation, welfare benefit legislation and other matters relevant to successful support and resettlement of clients.
-
To adhere to The Passage’s Policies and Procedures at all times.
-
To provide or arrange cover for other members of the team and division as necessary.
-
Being proactive in reviewing and evaluating own performance and identifying and acting upon areas for improvement, training, and development.
-
To participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.

Undertaking, as required, any other duties compatible with the level and nature of the post and/or reasonably required by more senior members of staff

Attend and participate in internal & external divisional and team meetings and other forums as required.

To contribute to the effective implementation of The Passage’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Policy as it affects both The Passage and its work with vulnerable adults.

In conjunction with other managers and the Head of Community Services, to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.

To always undertake your role in a professional manner maintaining a high-quality standard of work, and to always work in accordance with the aims, values, and ethos of The Passage.

Undertake any other duties that may be required which are commensurate with the role or organisational requirements.
