About you

You are a detail-oriented finance professional with advanced skills with Microsoft Excel. You are comfortable using financial system and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI. You are confident in interpreting and visualizing complex data, automating manual data analysis and reporting processes, and creating insights for both financial and non-financial colleagues. You can manage multiple priorities, pay close attention to detail, and are committed to maintaining data accuracy. You have 1-2 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, internal financial reporting such as management accounts, and cross-system reconciliations. Experience in the charity sector would be an advantage.

About the role

In this role, you will support the delivery of data-driven insights to inform decisions across CARE International UK. You will maintain financial models, produce impactful reports and dashboards, and contribute to the automation of reporting processes to enhance efficiency. You will be involved as part of the team in annual budgeting and forecasting, monthly financial reporting/management accounts, cross-system reconciliations, and supporting process improvements. Collaborating across fundraising, programmes, and support teams, you will provide guidance, interpret financial reporting, variance analysis and support colleagues to apply best practice on analysis and reporting. To succeed, you will need strong analytical and technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

The Organisation

On behalf of a leading UK membership organisation in the not-for-profit sector, we are recruiting for a Head of Financial Accounting. This organisation represents over a million members and operates with an annual income exceeding £200 million. The Job

As Head of Financial Accounting, you will take ownership of the organisation's financial accounting function. This is a newly created role due to the need for extra headcount and organisational support from the finance team. This organisation does have some historical issues with their financial accounting, meaning there is a backlog and a need to improve processes. There is also a current reliance on Excel, which they would like to change with plans in place for a new system implementation. The Person

Business Partnering and Financial Reporting Manager | London - Hybrid | £70,000 + Benefits

For an international NGO based in London, we are recruiting a permanent Business Partnering and Reporting Manager. Reporting to the Global Head of Finance, this role will oversee all business and commercial reporting, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and KPIs, as well as the financial reporting, balance sheet, cash and reserves reporting and reconciliations. The role will have a lead input in the year-end close and preparation of the Annual Report and Audit process and will lead the finance business partnering team of two.

Main Duties:

• Lead month-end close and production of month-end business, commercial and MI reporting
• Deliver insightful reporting into the business and commercial performance by partnering key stakeholders and supporting the leadership decision-making
• Lead the Business Planning and annual budgeting processes, preparing packs and presentations for the Executive Committee, Board Finance Committee and Council
• Lead the forecasting process, ensuring their integrity
• Support the development of finance reporting using Power BI, to embed KPIs measuring finance performance
• Prepare presentations for the Exco and Council meetings around business planning, budgeting and forecasting packs

Treasury and Cash Manager | 12-months | £500 - £600 per day (Inside IR35) | UK - Remote

For a large, complex international organisation which operates in more than 80 currencies with over 80 banking partners in 100+ countries, we're recruiting an Interim Cash, Risk and Treasury Manager. Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer, this role will implement all aspects of corporate treasury policy, processes, controls, analysis and investment strategies including cash management, financing and investment activities, risk management, and loss prevention. The interim Treasury Manager will build relationships with banks and will identify ways to improve in-country banking and repatriation of cash, including liquidity, cash forecasting, and debt management.

Main Duties:

• Manage the banking platforms and processes including the European zero balancing cash pool
• Optimise cash-flow and improve cash flow forecasting across the business, optimising investment income and work in partnership with Shared Services, and Country Finance teams
• Support the identification and releasing of trapped cash overseas, working with in-country colleagues and the Tax and Status team as well as Financial Control

Are you looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our Kickstart Futures Service based in Sutton.

The Service provides floating key work support sessions to Care Leavers who predominantly entered the UK either as Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children or as Survivors of Human Trafficking, with an aim to improve their independence skills, community integration, self-confidence and mental health.

Location of the post:

You will be based in our Crystal Palace office (SE19 3BG) with the requirement to regularly visit our 7supported living accommodation sites located across Sutton and Croydon. Between visits, you have the option to work flexibly from our office and from home. 

Hours:

29.6 hours across 4 days. Hours of work can be flexible to suit you, between the hours of 9am – 7pm. Occasional cover may be required on weekends to meet the needs of the service.

Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• To manage all areas of service provision including all aspects of key performance indicators outlined by commissioners across contracts in different Local Authorities.
• To manage a multidisciplinary team of professionals by providing supervision, practice development sessions, team meetings, ongoing practice advice and monitoring and evaluation of all aspects of our recording policy.
