Job description

Shelter is seeking a creative and innovative individual with solid digital marketing experience to join us as a Senior Digital Fundraising Executive within our award-winning fundraising team. Join us now and use your understanding of user experience and new product development to plan, manage and deliver digital marketing campaigns on behalf of our Community & Events and Bespoke Events teams.

The Digital Fundraising team is made up of highly skilled digital marketers and product owners that work closely with a variety of stakeholders, internal delivery and creative teams and external partners. Our goal is to embed digital fundraising skills to manage business-as-usual to the highest standards and give ourselves the space to be bold and excellent at digital fundraising, to continue innovating to keep up with audience behaviours. We aim to do this by giving our fundraising teams the tools and skills they need to support their plans through digital means, thus allowing Shelter to significantly grow the income that supports its mission. You'll help us do just that.

About the Role
Acting as product owner on behalf of the the Community & Events and Challenge Events team, you’ll work closely with the manager to develop new routes for fundraising through digital products and content marketing. But that’s not all. We’ll also rely on you to support the digitisation and digital marketing of existing events, support the scoping, planning and delivery of product marketing campaigns and act as the main digital support for the Community & Events team. Put simply, if you’re ready to provide digital expertise that will maximise income, improve efficiencies as a Product Owner and optimise supporter engagement, this is your opportunity.

About you
You’ll need experience of digital marketing across all digital marketing channels in a customer engagement environment. You’ll also need to have worked on high profile and innovative digital campaigns and fundraising-led challenge events content development or similar. Familiar with Agile product delivery and methodology, you have a proactive, results-driven approach, are great working as part of a team or on your own and are not afraid to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas when appropriate. What’s more, you have the communication skills to collaborate with our community and events and in-house delivery teams, as well as digital design and media agencies and a curiosity and drive to learn in your chosen specialism. Indeed, dedication to learning is imperative to keep us at the top of our game and regarded as digital experts within fundraising.
