Job description

East London Dance is hiring

East London Dance is an arts charity dedicated to championing and growing the east London dance scene. Having just completed our capital project to refit a historic warehouse and create a pioneering new dance and music hub, The Talent House, we are seeking to appoint a Head of Development.

Head of Development

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Full-time, permanent

The Head of Development will lead our fundraising strategy with the Creative Director & Chief Executives and work alongside the wider team to cultivate and maintain a diverse range of partnerships for the organisation. You would be joining at a really exciting period as we move into a new home, providing many new opportunities to engage supporters in our work. The role will have the ability to shape our long term development, at a pivotal moment alongside the newly announced Creative Director & Chief Executive job share partnership of Kate Scanlan and Tia Hassan.

Your Profile
You will be an insightful manager with at least three-year’s experience of working within the cultural, charity and/or social enterprise sectors. You will have a proven track record of successful fundraising and cultivating and maintaining a range of supporters for the arts. You will be a confident, persuasive and concise communicator, able to articulate values and beliefs, with a confidence in networking.
