This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising and communications professional to play a key role in delivering a major year-end fundraising appeal, providing a fantastic opportunity to utilise and refine your skills in an impactful organisation. Working closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and freelancers, you'll lead direct mail activity while supporting wider multi-channel fundraising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of a major direct mail fundraising campaign.
- Manage campaign timelines, creative development and supplier relationships.
- Coordinate copywriters, designers, data briefs and production schedules.
- Support the planning and delivery of fundraising email campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide optimisation recommendations.
- Collaborate with fundraising, digital and data teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
Key Requirements:
- Recent, relevant experience in a similar role within a charitable or not-for-profit organisation, including experience delivering successful direct mail, email marketing, and supporter communications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.

This role is a holistic finance position, providing a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to make an immediate and meaningful difference in an impactful organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the organisation’s finance function, ensuring accurate financial management, strong governance, and effective decision-making.
- Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, cashflow projections, and management accounts to support organisational planning and performance.
- Manage the full lifecycle of grant and contract finances, including budget monitoring, reporting, compliance, and audit support.
- Provide financial insight and strategic advice to senior leadership, supporting long-term sustainability and growth.
- Produce clear and timely financial reports for senior leaders, trustees, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing, payments, and banking activities.
- Maintain and improve financial systems, policies, processes, and controls to ensure efficiency, compliance, and value for money.
- Support fundraising and business development activities through the preparation of project budgets and financial information for funding applications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, donor requirements, and organisational policies.
- Lead on the preparation of annual accounts and coordinate external audits and other financial reviews.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, accountants, banks, and other professional advisers.
- Line manage and develop finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Work closely with colleagues across the organisation, providing financial guidance and support to enable successful project delivery.
- Contribute to organisational strategy, continuous improvement initiatives, and the achievement of wider business objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Recent, relevant experience in a finance leadership role within a international charitable organisation.
- Full accountancy qualifcation (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or ACA).
- High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
