Job description

Location: London, hybrid (2 days per week on site, ideally Wednesday or Thursday)
Contract: Temporary, 6 months
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Pay: £24.75 per hour (+ £2.99 holiday pay) (£48,396 salaried equivalent)
Start Date: ASAP

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client, a well established international environmental charity, in the search for a temporary Senior Direct Marketing Executive.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising and communications professional to play a key role in delivering a major year-end fundraising appeal, providing a fantastic opportunity to utilise and refine your skills in an impactful organisation. Working closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and freelancers, you'll lead direct mail activity while supporting wider multi-channel fundraising campaigns. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of a major direct mail fundraising campaign.
  • Manage campaign timelines, creative development and supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate copywriters, designers, data briefs and production schedules.
  • Support the planning and delivery of fundraising email campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide optimisation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with fundraising, digital and data teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Key Requirements:

  • Recent, relevant experience in a similar role within a charitable or not-for-profit organisation, including experience delivering successful direct mail, email marketing, and supporter communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
