Job description

Outreach Adviser (maternity cover)

Based in Ilkeston but includes remote working
Please note: During the Covid-19 pandemic, this role will be home based

We have an opportunity for an experienced Outreach Adviser based in Amber Valley and Erewash to join our existing team which provides an excellent generalist advice service for clients.

The Outreach Adviser will be involved in the provision of advice in an outreach setting.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential to this role, as is the ability to effectively communicate with our clients with a non-judgemental approach. Experience in the current benefits system, and an up to date knowledge and understanding of welfare reform would be desirable.
