The Purpose of the Role
IRC is seeking a fundraising operations professional with experience establishing comprehensive donation processes and ability mapping business requirements with technology set up. This role will help support stakeholder goals and strategy and engage with the CRM team who manages the technical backbone of gift processing. The successful candidate will have proven ability in both monitoring and improving the quality of donor and payment data across multiple platforms. The Fundraising Operations Analyst will serve as a central role to the Global Donations Operations team seeking efficiencies and helping the team focus on strategic projects.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
-
Guide discovery activities for gift processing projects and new donation system set ups
-
Maintain comprehensive business knowledge pertaining to the gift processing performed through the payment platforms and gateways used across the IRC’s global markets and keep up to date documentation

Serve as an escalation point for GDO team to help with troubleshooting data inconsistencies produced through data entry, integrations and payment transfers
-
Identifying and helping resolve the root cause of inaccurate data and recommending improvements to processes and adjusting workflows as needed

Provide support to data quality projects and required updates to business processes

Build out project management system for global GDO team and lead on project coordination as needed

Create and maintain Salesforce reports for monitoring of data accuracy, consistency and completeness so data issues can be discovered and shared with technical team for further investigation

Developing data quality best practice guidelines to facilitate consistent methodologies across markets and providing user training to support best practice being followed
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with a financial, technical, or other relevant degree**

Broad knowledge of fundraising databases, data integrity, payment gateway systems and processing workflows**

Demonstrated experience with Salesforce and building reporting frameworks and dashboards
-
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills**

Advanced technical skills including proficiency with Excel and MS Office tools; SQL database experience a plus
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to devise creative solutions to complex issues**

Organized, highly detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and create relationships with different teams

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Experience:

As Youth Music’s Insights Officer, you’ll help us generate evidence, learning and insight that demonstrates our impact, improves our work and strengthens our influence across sectors.
Working as part of the Insights team, you'll play a key role in helping Youth Music understand the experiences of children and young people, the impact of our work, and the barriers that prevent equitable access to music. Your work will help achieve our charity’s outcomes:

· Young people improve wellbeing through music
· Emerging creatives progress into a safer, fairer industry
You'll collect, analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from across our funding programmes, partnerships, research projects and organisational activity. You'll transform evidence into meaningful insights.
Working closely with colleagues across the Grants & Learning and Partnerships teams, you'll help to maintain a culture of evidence-informed decision making by ensuring data and learning is accessible and actionable. And you’ll work hand in hand with Communications team colleagues to demonstrate our social impact through compelling storytelling. You'll also support funded partners and the wider sector to strengthen their evaluation, learning and youth voice practice.
Whether producing dashboards and reports, designing surveys, analysing funded partner data, conducting interviews or investigating emerging trends, you'll help ensure we continue to learn and use evidence to drive positive change for young people. You’ll contribute to thought leadership and research like Born Into Music, Locked Out of Power, Excluded by Design and Sound of the Next Generation.
You’ll also brief young researchers and analysts in our Youth Music NextGen community, helping amplify youth voice and lived experience through participatory and inclusive research approaches.
The Insights Manager will be your line manager and you'll be part of the Insights team, which sits within the Communications Team.
