What will I be doing?
- Leading the clinical team in Leeds and surrounding clinics to deliver the best possible experience for clients

About the role
As a respected professional and experienced clinician, the post holder will lead by example, motivate and empower other staff and ensure high standards of care are set and delivered. Specifically, the Deputy CSM will ensure they support the Clinical Services Matron (CSM) to:
- Deliver excellence in clinical practice and that care is promoted across all services provided by MSIUK
- Ensure that clients are cared for in a safe, clean environment
- They will support the CSM to promote excellence in client experience ensuring clients are treated with dignity and respect
- They will support the CSM in providing strong clinical leadership and management of the designated centre
The Deputy Clinical Services Manager (CSM) will support the CSM to make a proactive contribution to planning for and improving future services within the centre and take an active lead in service transformation.
The post holder under the leadership and support of the CSM to:
- In delivering the quality and standards of care agenda, particularly supporting the CSM to provide assurance around compliance with regulatory and internal standards of care.
- Supporting the Regional Manager to ensure there are effective processes in place in the designated Centre and that client flow enhances the quality of client care, experience and outcomes
- Support the CSM to ensure a positive culture of clinical excellence, openness, professionalism, continuous improvement and high-quality care is embedded and promoted within all clinical staffing groups.
- Under the leadership of the CSM, act as a visible role model providing positive, professional and accountable leadership to clinical staff at the Centre
- Fulfil the role of line manager for direct reports
Experience
- Proven experience of working at clinical team leaders level managing staff

Crisis Skylight Croydon engages individuals at every stage of their recovery from homelessness, from early engagement on the street, stabilisation and progression into independent living, to ongoing support to ensure members are not subjected to the 'revolving door' of homelessness. Safeguarding Manager

The Safeguarding Manager will report to the Deputy Chief Executive and will lead and oversee RNID’s safeguarding processes and strategy. This will include ensuring that safeguarding is built into the design phase of new services and as the organisation continues to change. The role will also oversee safeguarding governance arrangements including triaging, reporting internally/externally and reporting to the Executive and Board. It will provide advice and guidance to stakeholders across the organisation on all complex and serious incidents.
Given the changes to the organisation, it is expected that this role and its context will evolve over the next 12-18 months. The post holder will have an important role in helping design and shape the role during this period.

Do you want to shape and influence the future of fire safety?
This is an exciting opportunity to work for the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) in our busy Protection Policy and Reform Unit. NFCC is the professional voice of the UK fire and rescue service who support FRSs to provide national leadership and drive strategic change. We need a Senior Policy Manager to help as we work towards the introduction of the proposed new Building Safety Regulator (BSR), following government proposals laid out in the draft Building Safety Bill. This is a politically neutral role, and the successful person will ideally be a politically aware individual that can exercise sound judgement and display discretion.
On 14 June 2017 the devastating fire at Grenfell Tower led to the loss of 72 lives with many more injured. The fire was an unprecedented event and since that day NFCC have been working to ensure it should never happen again. In 2018 NFCC set up a Building Safety Programme Team (BSP Team) to lead the Fire and Rescue Services’ response to reforms proposed in Building A Safer Future, in response to the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety, lead by Dame Judith Hackitt. In late 2019 the Government invited the Chair of NFCC Roy Wilsher, to Chair a new Protection Board (PB). This year the Government have provided £20m in funding to support an uplift in FRSs Protection activity and capability, with part of the funding available for the work of the NFCC’s PB secretariat and BSP Team.
This is an important area of activity working with FRSs, Government partners and wider stakeholders, mobilising and developing new approaches to tackle building safety regulation.
Working alongside our existing team of technical fire safety experts and fire engineers, you will be responsible for supporting a high-profile programme of work to help deliver the proposed new Building Safety Regime, an uplift to the Protection capability within FRSs, and national level initiatives and service improvements to respond to recommendations from the Grenfell Tower Public Inquiry and HMICFRS.
This is a rewarding and demanding role. You will need to have excellent analytical, policy development, communications, and problem-solving skills, and to be passionate about the role of CFOs in fire service transformation and fire protection. Whilst you do not need to have operational fire experience, you do need to have a good understanding and appreciation of the fire policy and governance landscape.
You will be joining the NFCC at a critical time, with a fast-paced building safety reform agenda being delivered across government, including the response to the Grenfell Tower fire, and findings from HMICFRS reporting on FRSs. If this role is of interest, we would love to hear from you.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
The post holder will need to use initiative and judgement to resolve problems encountered, which may be complex in nature.
The post requires a self-motivated individual who can plan, organise and be adaptive in a non-traditional office environment, and will be comfortable working across a range of platforms. You will be adept at providing support to senior decision makers, have excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
You will also be able to gather and analyse information from a variety of sources, drawing out relevant points and communicating them succinctly. You will be confident building rapport with senior leaders. You may previously have worked in producing advice to Ministers, provided policy advice within the civil service, or helped to deliver in an area of significant policy reform. An understanding of building safety and construction market regulation is desirable.

Responsibilities
Finance
- Responsible for developing, implementing and managing financial systems (manual and computerised) to provide accurate financial records and control systems for OCF
- Responsible for all banking procedures, including liaison with banks, building societies and cheque signatories
- Account for all financial transactions and prepare monthly accounts and bank reconciliations using SAGE
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the CEO and Finance Committee
- Prepare annual budgets in consultation with all staff
- Maintain and monitor all OCF-related bank accounts
- Provide any other financial reports as required for the CEO and Board of Trustees, funders, donors or OCF committees
Grants
- Update SalesForce (OCF’s CRM system) to ensure funds available for grant making are up to date and accurate
- Support the Grants Team to ensure there is accurate and efficient recording of grant income, budgeting and payments and that the figures on SalesForce align with Sage

Investments
- Responsible for the accurate recording of all investment income and payments to enable reporting and control of investments
- Liaise with OCF’s Investment Fund Managers (currently CCLA and Brompton Asset Management); monitor their performance and work with the Finance Committee to ensure performance is maximised
- Provide reports and analysis as and when required for donor funds
- Provide reports and analysis as and when required for the CEO, Finance Committee and Board of Trustees
End of year accounts
- Responsible for the production of annual accounts in accordance with current legislation and best accounting practice
- Liaison with auditors and assistance with annual audit
- Timely management of statutory returns, including Charity Commission Annual Returns and Inland Revenue Gift Aid claims
Governance
- Responsible for ensuring the Finance Committee is effectively supported to deliver its terms of reference and remit, including: the production of timely reports, following up on actions and ensuring compliance with Charity Commission and other reporting requirements
Other
- Oversee the monthly payroll for all staff
- Identify efficiencies within the office’s day-to-day financial processes
- Co-ordinate the Finance Committee meetings to include drafting of the agenda and minute taking
- Ensure office and any other insurance and utility contracts are economic and meet organisational requirements
- Attend training courses and events as required and to remain up to date with specialist technical requirements – eg changes to SORP
- Undertake other tasks and projects as required in line with the scale and general nature of the post
- Play an active role in the UKCF network and attend national and regional finance meetings
- Bring to the early attention of the CEO and Chair of Finance Committee any matters of concern and risk in relation to the finances of OCF

Key competencies
- Educated to degree level with a recognised accountancy qualification and membership of one of the major UK accountancy bodies
- Experience in SAGE or equivalent with good computer literacy, including MS Excel
- A proven track record in financial management in a six-figure turnover organisation with understanding of endowments, investments and restricted funds
- Ability to think strategically in financial matters and identify areas of efficiency
- Strong teamworking, communication and presentation skills
- Strong commitment to the values of the community foundation, including equality and diversity
- Enthusiasm, flexibility and the ability to cope well under pressure
- Willingness to undertake occasional evening/weekend duties

About the role
We are looking to recruit a high calibre Programme Manager to shape and lead a programme to improve our Fitness to Practise casework. This programme will enable delivery of our main strategic priority for 2021.
We require a dynamic, experienced and professional programme manager with extensive regulatory acumen to set-up, manage and transition this complex, high risk programme through to core business and deliver against strategic priorities.
You will be responsible for:
- Scoping, planning and delivering the programme, with appropriate rigour, controls and governance
- Successful delivery of programme outcomes within agreed budget and tolerances, enabling the realisation of short and long term benefits
- Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, the programme team and managing dependencies with other major programmes
- Problem solving and trouble shooting
- Ensuring that change is seamlessly embedded into business operations
- Working within the central Corporate Change and PMO Team to strengthen programme delivery controls and approach in line with best practice
About you
You will have extensive experience:
- Successful delivery of high profile programmes within agreed time, cost and quality tolerances
- Full programme management life cycle delivery experience from scoping through to realisation of benefits
- Managing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders and able to hold partners to account
- Successful delivery of strategic priorities within a fast paced and ever changing environment related changes and able to provide strong leadership and programme management coaching
- MSP practitioner qualified or similar experience managing complex change programmes
- Working in a regulatory or government organisation would be advantageous

The role of Business Systems Manager sits within our new Information Systems and Governance team. This team works with colleagues from across the organisation to manage our key Business Systems.
The role is responsible for the delivery and support of our key Business Systems and processes with a focus on Fundraising/Marketing, HR and Finance and will also take the lead in the development of Microsoft Organisation business tools including Sharepoint, Teams, ZenDesk etc.
