ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Challenge Events Manager to join our Sports and Challenge Events Team managing an innovative and evolving portfolio of mass participation events, including the mighty London Marathon.

You’ll join a driven team committed to growing our challenge events portfolio and delivering standout supporter experiences, whether they’re jumping out of a plane or crossing that iconic London Marathon finish line. You’ll be marketing a range of tantalising mass participation events to supporters and devising engaging and inspiring stewardship journeys to make their Young Lives vs Cancer experience memorable.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who has worked in the business or charity sector and who is looking to use their skills to make a difference to our charity. This Finance Manager willlead on all aspects of financial planning, management and reporting at RICE, support the processing of all day-to-day financial transactions, and ensure that the finance function is carried out effectively and efficiently. 4. Grant Writing and Reporting:

We are looking to recruit a Services Development Manager, to develop, scope, and manage high-quality income-generating services that meet the needs of clients and the community. We are a small, highly experienced team who share a passion to support the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people across Surrey.  This is a key new role in the Major Relationships unit to support the CEO and Major Relationships Lead in major donor fundraising, an area which has grown in recent years.  This locally based post will enhance the prospect pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of major donor prospects, which will help towards meeting the objectives and financial targets for major donor fundraising. The role will cover three main areas of responsibility: Research, Events (organisation/co-ordination) and Admin. This position requires discretion, confidentiality and administrative judgment.

The Major Relationships unit works alongside Grants, Corporates & Community as well as Individual Giving, as part of the wider Engagement (fundraising/marketing) team at Eikon. 

Responsibilities   

1. Research   

• Identify and prioritise potential major donor prospects in Surrey and beyond, who would be capable of making significant contributions and seem likely to have the propensity to donate i.e. to become major donors. 

• Produce high quality, tailored and insightful research on major donors.  

• Look at current supporters (all different types/levels) with good contacts/connections/networks and conduct research in order to suggest ways to reach new high net worth individuals across Surrey. 

2. Event organisation/co-ordination 

• Organise/coordinate internal and externally run events such as dinners, drinks receptions, sporting events. 

• Attend key events - approx. 5 each year and sometimes evenings/weekends – welcoming guests and ensuring a positive experience. 

• Join the CEO and/or the Major Relationships Lead at specific meetings with MDs/MDPs, occasionally evenings/weekends. 

 3. Admin 

• Day-to-day support for MDs, MDPs and key influencers (KIs) which could include:

The Database Assistant will maintain Symplectic Grant Tracker, a key organisational database, ensuring all data is accurate and meaningful. This database holds the application portal for organisations and is how the Grants & Learning Team manage and support funded partners with their grants. You will undertake regular database administration tasks, such as adding new users, updating forms, importing data and amending the database where required by the team.

You will play a key role in the organisation around GDPR and data protection, working alongside the Database Administrator with a focus on our Salesforce databases, to ensure consistency across both systems. You’ll be working within a team that advocates for evidence-led decision making and a sustainable data culture.

You’ll be a member of the Communications & Marketing team, reporting into the Insights Manager. You’ll also be working closely with the Grants & Learning Team who are responsible for delivering our ambitious, nationwide grants programme and who currently support over 500 grassroots organisations and 18-25 year old creatives. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the correct information is stored effectively and is easily accessible, reportable and usable on Grant Tracker. The Database Assistant will assist us to demonstrate delivery against our Business Plan by programming our grants database to be the most effective at collecting and producing the data output needed by the team.

The Digital Transformation Manager leads THET’s efforts to transform our own programmes of work and the way THET  operates, and also that of the Health Partnership community to better incorporate and enable best practice in digital solutions. The Digital Transformation Manager will work with teams across the organisation to consider how in every aspect of THET’s work we can transform our use of technology to achieve greater efficiencies and effectiveness, improve inclusivity and equity, and whilst reducing our carbon footprint. Digital Transformation is a key enabler for the organisation to help advance access to health services in low-and-middle-income countries, via activities such as building online communities, online learning for health workforces in complex and humanitarian settings, e-health, amongst others. This role will require engagement across the different departments of THET including programmes, and research, evidence and learning, and external engagement, as well as engaging with external stakeholders to drive and raise visibility of this agenda.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy

• Lead the review and delivery of THET’s digital transformation strategy. 

• Lead and implement THET’s digital enablers to support the organisation’s strategic plan.

Product management

• Develop and enhance the user experience of both external and internal stakeholders across key digital products including the THET website, Pulse platform, learning platforms and bespoke applications.

• Conduct user research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a long-term strategy across our digital portfolio.

Stakeholder and project management

 • Provide guidance and capacity development to both THET staff and the Health Partnership community on digital implementations and best practice

• Ensure THET has accurate data and analytics to support operations and programmes across THET.

• Project manage key digital projects including scoping, testing, implementation, and review.

• Engage with external experts to promote and drive THET’s digital agenda across the global health sector.

• Lead and develop THET’s digital reporting mechanism to track the success of digital implementation across programmes.

• Lead a Digital Transformation Working Group to support digital transformation across THET and the wider HP community. 

External representation and publicization

• Representation at key THET and external events raising visibility of digital working within health partnerships and across the health partnership community.

• Working with THET external engagement and research evidence and learning teams to deliver communisations and policy documents on digital transformation.

Fundraising and digital transformation project design

• Lead fundraising for digital transformation at THET, working closely with colleagues across the organisation.

• Support colleagues in integrating digital transformation across project proposals.

• Reporting back to donors to demonstrate the value of THET’s digital interventions.

Operations

• Manage third party providers including vendors and Managed Service Providers, ensuring compliance with SLA’s.

• Working with the Chief Operating Officer, ensure THET has adequate and appropriate IT infrastructure and cybersecurity processes in support with IT MSP

• Support the implementation of GDPR practices across THET in line with regulation and best practice. 

Line Management

• Line manages the Digital Transformation Officer.

• Mentor and coach other team members as required

This job is remote with occassional travel to London and upto 4weeks per year international travel.

SAPHNA is a professional organisation and charity established in 2006. We are the voice of school and public health nurses across the UK, and the Crown Dependencies. Main Responsiblities:

You will effectively lead and nurture a growing team to evolve our partnership offering, create new and dynamic partnerships and drive an ambitious pipeline with the potential to change the mental health landscape in the business community and beyond.

Reporting to the Head of Programmes, Gender and Humanitarian the post holder will identify, prospect and approach new institutional donors, converting them form prospects to secured funds. Ensure the effective delivery of a portfolio of institutional and corporate grants, making sure projects are achieving key milestones and that day-to-day activities are on track. The Programme Development Manager will provide high quality project information to both internal and external stakeholders, extracting and quality assuring project data relevant for reporting, and making sure all projects are compliant with donor requirements. You will proactively manage relationships with existing donors, developing engagement strategies, sharing key information, and laying groundwork for follow-on funding. Finally, you will lead proposals for new and existing donors, coordinating inputs from Hand in Hand International and network colleagues, drafting technical inputs, and engaging with funders where required.

We are looking for an innovative thinker and self-starter with a clear track record of raising funds from and engaging directly with large institutional donors (governments, corporate foundations, etc). Strong experience working directly with FCDO and/or USAID is desirable.You will have exceptional experience managing complex international development projects within an NGO, government, or the private sector. You will be confident working with project management tools such as logframes, workplans, and risk matrices and will have excellent relationship management skills, strong attention to details and an ability to effectively prioritise between competing deadlines and objectives. A working knowledge of Afghanistan, or a background in Humanitarian contexts would be desirable.

Senior Philanthropy Manager

Art Fund is the UK’s national fundraising charity for art. We give grants to help museums, galleries, historic houses and public arts organisations to acquire objects for their collections, to share them with as many people as possible, and to support research and training for museum professionals. We are supported by our growing membership of 135,000 through the National Art Pass, as well as the generosity of many individuals, trusts and foundations.

As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you’ll play a key role in the Development team by securing income towards a range of programmes, projects and appeals for museums and galleries across the UK. You will manage our Art Partners (patrons) programme, leading and developing all aspects including recruitment, stewardship and events, and delivering the strategy for growth. You’ll also cultivate a portfolio of individual donors to secure gifts towards specific areas of Art Fund’s charitable programme, contributing towards an annual team target of c.£3.5m.
