Are you a leader who’s great with people and loves making things happen? Lead a thriving Christian charity store where faith is put into action and community means much more than retail.

At the heart of our Westcliff-on-Sea store is an amazing and diverse team of around 50 volunteers. You’ll help shape a culture of radical inclusion and genuine community, creating a place where people find belonging, discover what they can contribute, and have opportunities to grow and flourish in life and faith.

We’re looking for an inspiring Store & Volunteer Manager to lead the shop and join our wider leadership team. You’ll be part of Shared Space’s wider community of 105 volunteers, working alongside colleagues to help people and places thrive.

You’ll make the store a brilliant place to shop, develop new ideas and generate the income that enables Shared Space to make a difference. You’ll also recruit, support and develop volunteers, helping each person contribute in a way that works for them.

Our Christian faith is at the heart of why we do this. You’ll help people explore what faith looks like when it is lived out rather than simply talked about, and be part of seeing people and places transformed by Jesus. You’ll help ensure that everyone who comes through our doors feels welcome and valued.

We’re looking for someone with energy, initiative and strong leadership skills who can combine a head for retail with a heart for people. If you’re excited by the idea of leading something that is part charity shop, part community and part movement for change, we’d love to hear from you.
