Prospectus is excited to be supporting Chance to Shine to find a Head of Corporate Partnerships and Events to join their team. This incredible children’s charity is dedicated to harnessing the power of cricket to transform the life prospects of young people in the UK.
Established in 2005, Chance to Shine have a long-term track record of delivery in state schools and under-served communities, bringing best-in-the-game cricket programmes to young people who may not have had the chance. All their programmes are completely free for everyone involved, from schools and community groups to young people and their families.
As the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Events, you will drive new business and steward relationships to an exceptional standard, with a clear ambition to grow corporate and events income. You will be responsible for leading a new business development strategy to convert existing contacts and build a strong pipeline for income growth.
Chance to Shine are looking for someone with significant experience in corporate partnerships, including evidence of securing and managing five and six-figure partnerships in the charity sector. You will have a strong new business track record, with demonstrable experience of developing and implementing a fundraising strategy.

A real highlight of the role is the opportunity for international travel (approximately 6–7 weeks per year), with recent trips including Singapore, Japan, Dubai and across Europe.
The Role
You'll lead corporate fundraising, delivering an annual income target of around £900,000 through a diverse portfolio of corporate partnerships. Rather than relying on a handful of major donors, income is generated through a broad range of corporate supporters, making both relationship management and business development key to success.
You'll also lead a small team, use CRM data to inform fundraising activity and work closely with senior stakeholders.
